No full textIn this thesis we obtain a geometric identity between Relative Trace Formula on the metaplectic group and the general linear group. As a consequence of the spectral analysis, we expect to obtain a relation between products of distinct Whittaker coefficients of a cuspidal automorphic representation on the metaplectic group and a non-split period of a related representation on the general linear group. Species composition, diversity and community structure of mangroves in Barangay Fabio, Tagana-an, Surigao Del Norte, Philippines
No full text<p>Mangrove ecosystems serve a crucial environmental role in protecting coastlines from storms, floods, and erosion, and they aid as a breeding ground for many marine life. Mangrove forests are declining due to relentless anthropogenic activities. Thus, the assessment of mangrove species plays a crucial part in the upkeep and protection of the forest. This study aimed to determine species composition, diversity, and community structure of mangrove forests in Barangay. Fabio, Surigao del Norte using the line quadrat method. Results revealed that the area has very low diversity belonging to only three families, three genera, and three different species. Among the three other species, <i>Rhizophora apiculata</i> obtained the highest abundance. No full textThis article analyzis the cut procedures that we find in some poems of the Brazilian Ana Cristina Cesar (1952-1983). Author of an extremely fragmentary poetry, Ana C. constructed her workmanship very close to the artistic vanguards of the XX century, including the most experimental cinema. Our objective is to observe how the poet constructs the fragmentation in her poetry, keeping, at the same time, a singular fluency between the fragments; fluency that would not be narrative, but that approaches her poems to a certain cinematographic way of composition and experience

No full textIn Ana Cristina Cesar and Sophie Calle: clues and clues, the focus is given to the detective aspect of the works of Sophie Calle and Ana Cristina Cesar. The works Detective (CALLE, 1980) and Suite Vétinienne (1984), both by the artist Sophie Calle, are associated with Poe's Man in the Crowd (2010) and Baudelaire's The Painter of Modern Life (2010). The author Hugo Friedrich in Structure of the modern lyric (1991) has the role of helping the reading of works by Ana C. and Calle from their reflection on the Baudelairean method of “fantasy guided by the intellect” and “enthusiastic excitement” designed by Edgar Allan Poe. Ana Cristina Cesar's poetics is placed in the detective aspect when the poet cites several references in the body of her text leaving clues for her readers to identify (or not) excerpts from poems, works of art, songs, among others that she points out in her poetics.Em Ana Cristina Cesar e Sophie Calle: pistas e despistas, o enfoque é dado ao aspecto detetivesco das obras de Sophie Calle e Ana Cristina Cesar. No full textBackground: Coconut Leaf Beetle Brontispa longgisima Gestro, 1885 is an economically significant pest that is not yet fully understood. Studying patterned variations of the left and right side parts or asymmetry of Brontispa longgisima could give us a picture of its mode of adaptation to different environments and its success as a pest, the ability to maintain developmental homeostasis. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate and quantify left and right variation patterns of Brontispa longgisima hind wings using the advanced geometric morphometric tool -Symmetry and Asymmetry in Geometric Data (SAGE). Results: Procrustes Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) revealed that individual variation and directional asymmetry were present in male and female populations in all sampling locations for wing shape and size, although slight fluctuating asymmetry was noted. Principal component analysis also showed that the movements of landmarks were localized only to landmarks 3, 4 and 14. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, Brontispa longgisima hind wings have undergone lesser environmental or genetic perturbations because of the presence of directional asymmetry which by far, is genetically controlled. But based on individual variations of metasternum and wings, B. longissima is able to counterbalance the external pressures evidenced by shape variability of the studied traits
