Pengaruh lama penyimpanan terhadap karakteristik dgem batu andesit dan dgem batu kapur.
ABSTRAK
DGEM is a type of mixture of emulsion asphalt and dense gradation aggregate and can be used as a structural surface course. So far the raw material of aggregate has been derived from andesit rocks (igeneous rocks of base characteristic and negative electric charge) of which the supply is getting more limited, so it needs consideration for the use of limestone as another alternative of DGEM composing materials.
This research is conducted in the laboratory of pavement meterials by following AASHTO ( 1982) and Bina Marga (1991) procedures for the making of DGEM job mix formula. The model of DGEM test object is made with different variations of mixture storage length : 0 (zero), I (one), 2 (two), 3 (three), 4 (four), and S (five) day(s) before it is spread and compacted, each for andesit rocks DGEM and limestone DGEM.
The research results show that the mixture of andesit rocks DGEM can be stored up to S (days) before spreading and compaction, whereas that of limestone DGEM stored up to 3 (three) days without reducing the Bina Marga (1991) technical specifications. On the study of the same storage length, the characteristic of andesit rocks DGEM is much better than that of limestone DGE

DGEM, a Digital Geological Elevation Model, was developed using the digital geological map and the JPGIS DEM data with some GIS application and the R-Language. In the model, the information of the geological map was combined with the DEM by their coordinates. The integration of those two digital map was performed by the R-Language, so the model can be used by some useful presentation library of the language, such as the RGL, or
by some geographical calculation libraries. Moreover, the DGEM will be used by the spatial statistical libraries of the R-Language to investigate some geological spatial distributed specifications

Jalan adalah infrastruktur transportasi darat yang mencakup seluruh bagian jalan, termasuk bangunan pelengkap dan peralatan yang dibutuhkan untuk lalu lintas. Kerusakan jalan adalah masalah utama bagi lalu lintas transportasi darat. Perbaikan jalan dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah membongkar lapisan aspal lama dan menggantinya dengan lapisan aspal baru. Aspal emulsi adalah aspal dingin yang penggunaannya tidak perlu dipanaskan, karena aspal emulsi memiliki tingkat viskositas yang rendah, sehingga tidak menimbulkan polusi sehingga menghemat biaya, tenaga dan waktu. Proses pencampuran aspal emulsi yang baik dipengaruhi oleh selimut aspal di seluruh permukaan agregat. Kelembaban agregat dengan menambahkan kadar air ke agregat secara merata dapat membantu aspal emulsi menyelimuti permukaan agregat karena air bertindak sebagai zat pereduksi viskositas atau menurunkan viskositas aspal emulsi. Dari hasil penelitian tentang Perbedaan Serat Kelapa Sawit DGEM CAMP, keuntungannya adalah kelelahannya lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan DGEM Camp Murni. Selain itu juga memiliki kekurangan yaitu Nilai Kestabilan Serat Sawit DGEM lebih rendah karena pada contoh Briket membuat banyak rongga udara terbuka
Linearity of the Double Gas Electron Multiplier (DGEM) as an X-ray Fluorescence Detector
We have tested a 10 cm x 10 cm Double Gas Electron Multiplier (DGEM) fluorescence X-ray detector for linearity by making gradual decrease of the X-ray florescence entering the detectorobtained from a testsample. The X-ray fluorescence emitted by the sample and directed towards the detector is attenuated and transmitted byplacing multiple layers of identical Aluminum (Al) foil sheets on thedetector’s entrance window. The transmitted portion of the fluorescence passing through the Al foil layers ionizes the detecting gasand the ionized electrons are amplified by the DGEM. We have repeated the same experiment with no Al foils, and by adding one extra layer of identical Al foil for each separate scan up to five (5) foils. The normalized scans for a diluted prepared “Fe” sample, using Athena software, indicate that all the scans have good identical similarities. This shows that the DGEM detector is a linear detector with respect to the X-ray quantity reaching the DGEM detector.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
