Entre fascinações e soledades: por uma memória especular em José Lezama Lima e Josely Vianna Baptista
No full textTese (doutorado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e Expressão, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura, Florianópolis, 2009.Nesta pesquisa, concentrada na poesia de Lezama Lima e Josely Vianna Baptista, toma-se como ponto de partida o mito de Orfeu e Eurídice a fim de se pensar uma nova forma de olhar o retorno de uma natureza latino-americana, resgatando num só lance a lembrança de uma utopia referente a lugar padaradisíaco e a tensão por fazer desse mesmo lugar zona de artifício e negatividade, natureza para além do princípio da naturalidade, uma vez barroca e aguda. Tal forma de confronto faz parte de uma determinada problemática latino-americana, aquela voltada à paisagem, a qual busca articular um embate e um enlace entre natureza e cultura, memória e esquecimento, luz e cegueira . Desse modo, nos parece que estaria implicada nesse movimento de olhar não uma única imagem, senão duas, e ambas não cessam de serem confrontadas , dando origem a um lugar mais originário que o espaço, ultrapassando os limites da geografia. Na presente pesquisa, intentando conceituar este lugar originário marcado pelo enfrentamento de imagens, resgata-se a denominação barroca de soledad, desejando, igualmente, devolver potência ao aspecto especular de seu funcionamento. A soledad seria, nesse sentido, um signo barroco e latino-americano por excelência, o que não significa o resgate de uma nostalgia de um paraíso perdido, e sim como retorno a um lugar sempre "inencontrável" e destituído de saudade, um "entre-lugar" americano, cuja memória será sempre fruto de seu regresso especular

Normalization procedure for the Baptista Depression Scale - Adult Version (EBADEP-A): transferring of norms
No full textRegarding the standardization of psychological assessment instruments, that is, the construction of referential interpretations of a test, we can find different procedures performed both by Classical Test Theory (CTT) and the Theory of Item Response (IRT). Especially in this case (IRT), we can admit one test as a default, so to use its standardization and transfer the cut-off point to another instrument. Based on this information, the present study aimed to provide a cutoff score for the Baptista Depression Scale - Adult Version (EBADEP-A) through procedures of norms-transfer based on the Center for Epidemiologic Studies – Depression Scale (CES-D). The EBADEP-A presented good distribution and ability to discriminate depressive symptoms, and the sample, consisting of Brazilian College students, received a cutoff score of 32 points. It is emphasized that this is an exploratory and preliminary study, and it is suggested further analyzes to be performed with clinical samples for which results can be corroborated or confronted

The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality. Diagnosis. The male pedipalp resembles the general conformation of F. p el t a Platnick, 1975, F. pulchra and F. maldonado Platnick, Grismado & Ramírez, 1999 by the laminar expansion of the embolus; however, in these species the expansion is prolateral, and the embolus has a basal ledge (see Platnick 1975, figs 86, 87; Platnick et al. 1999, figs 19–21; Piacentini et al. 2013, figs 6 c–e;). F. jurubatiba sp. n. is distinguished by having the laminar extension on the retrolateral side of the embolus, and by lacking the basal ledge (Figs 5 h–j, 6 b–c). The female internal genitalia have large, rounded spermathecae as in F. p e l t a, but can be distinguished by having more inflated spermathecae which touch each other medially (Fig. 6 a). Description. Male (holotype). Total length 1.87. Carapace 0.93 long, 0.69 wide. Femur I 0.79 long, 0.19 high. Posterior median eyes separated by slightly more than their diameter (Fig. 5 e). Paturon with inconspicuous lateral ridge. Sclerotized portions of body orange brown (Fig. 5 e–g); abdominal scutum covering two-thirds of dorsum. Unsclerotized portion of abdomen with a dorsal, purplish brown pattern on a yellow background, forming a yellow ring close to the pedicel (Fig. 5 e–g). Pedipalpal femur not thickened, tibia globose and almost the same size as the palpal bulb; bulb relatively small, half the length of the cymbium; embolus base rounded, without any ledge, distal half flattened with a retrolateral translucent extension with an irregularly shaped, slightly more sclerotized area (Figs 5 h–j, 6 b–c). Female (paratype). Total length 2.51. Carapace 1.12 long, 0.80 wide. Femur I 0.89 long, 0.22 high. Leg I with sparse prolateral scopula on tibia, metatarsus and tarsus (Fig. 9 a, b). Eyes and chelicerae as in male. Sclerotized portions of body orange brown (Fig. 5 a–c); abdominal scutum orange brown with lateroventral notches where two oblique, elongated ventral plates (postepigastric scutes) fit, converging posteriorly toward middle of venter, but not touching (Fig. 5 d). Unsclerotized portion of abdomen as in male (Fig. 5 a–c). Tarsus I without tenent setae (Fig. 9 a– c), tarsi II–IV with weak claw tufts, those of leg IV composed of only two pseudotenent setae on each side (Fig. 9 d–g). Internal genitalia with two large, rounded spermathecae, touching each other medially, bearing conspicuous paired poreplates close to each other (Fig. 6 a). Distribution. A poesia de Amadeu Baptista - Ekphrasis e desocultação
No full textA obra do autor português Amadeu Baptista (1953-) é frequentemente dotada de um
discurso poético que visa o diálogo entre a palavra e a obra visual, manifesto nos títulos
lançados: O Som do Vermelho (2003), tríptico poético sobre a pintura do artista plástico
Rogério Ribeiro; Poemas de Caravaggio (2008) e Poemas de Leonardo (2018), menção aos
célebres pintores italianos; Veneziana (2023), alusivo à pintura veneziana; entre outras
produções.
Ao debruçar-se pela obra de arte, a construção literária de Amadeu Baptista colocase sobre circunstâncias que remetem para o conceito de ekphrasis e abrem caminho à
desocultação, unverborgenheit, termo utilizado pelo autor Martin Heidegger (1889-1976),
no ensaio A Origem da Obra de Arte. Recorrendo aos quatro títulos mencionados, a presente
tese procura analisar o processo poético desse corpus, de um autor que tem sido pouco
estudado sob uma lente poético-pictórica, oferecendo um pequeno contributo para que, no
futuro, outras perspectivas se elevem; - The poetry of Amadeu Baptista - Ekphrasis and unconcealment
ABSTRACT:
The work of portuguese author Amadeu Baptista (1953-) is often endowed with a
poetic discourse aimed at a dialogue between the word and the visual work, manifested in
the titles released: O Som do Vermelho (2003); Poemas de Caravaggio (2008) and Poemas
de Leonardo (2018); Veneziana (2023); among other productions.
In looking at the work of art, Amadeu Baptista's literary construction centres on
circumstances that refer to the concept of ekphrasis and open the way to unveiling,
unverborgenheit, a term used by the author Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) in his essay The
Origin of the Work of Art. Using the four titles mentioned as the corpus, this thesis seeks to
analyse the poetic process of an author who has been little studied through a poetic-pictorial
lens, offering a small contribution so that, in the future, other perspectives may be raised
