Pengaruh Profesionalitas Guru, Kompensasi, Kepuasan Kerja Dan Academic Atmosphere Sebagai Moderating Variable Terhadap Kinerja Guru Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA SeMalang Raya (Mixed Methods Approach Embedded Supporting)
Sistem Pendidikan Nasional (sisdiknas) yang diatur di dalam UndangUndang Nomor 2 tahun 1989, kemudian diperbaharui dengan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia nomor 20 tahun 2003, merupakan babak awal untuk menatap dunia pendidikan di Indonesia semakin terencana. Dunia pendidikan, khususnya profesi guru semakin jelas dengan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia No. 14 tentang Guru dan Dosen disebutkan bahwa profesionalitas mengandung 4 kompetensi, yaitu 1) kompetensi pedagogik, 2) kompetensi kepribadian, 3) kompetensi sosial, dan 4) kompetensi profesional. Keempat kompetensi tersebut di tambah dengan kompensasi sebenarnya dapat digolongkan ke dalam dua faktor yaitu internal dan ekstemal. Kedua faktor tersebut dapat menentukan langsung terhadap kinerja guru, tetapi juga secara tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja dapat menentukan kinerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh variabel profesionalitas guru yang terdiri dari empat kompetensi yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi profesional dan kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi SMA di Malang Raya dengan dimoderasi oleh variabel academic atmosphere. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan gabungan (mixed methods approach) khususnya untuk variabel kompetensi kepribadian yang berfungsi untuk memperkuat/mendukung temuan basil pendekatan kuantitatif dengan disain penelitian expose facto. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 152 guru yang tersebar di Kota Malang, Kabupaten Malang dan Kota Batu dengan menggunakan teknik acak proporsional jumlah sampel ditetapkan sebesar 50% atau sebesar 76 guru (50% x jumlah populasi masing-masing Kota!Kabupaten)_ Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan inferensial; deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas masing-masing variabel sedangkan analisis inferensial yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi moderat, analisis jalur dan sequential data analysis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sosial dan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, sedangkan kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian dan kompetensi profesional berpengaruh tidak signifikan. Kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja juga didukung hasil analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif, bahwa ;eseorang menjadi guru bukan karena cita-cita sejak awallpanggilan jiwa tetapi (arena terpaksa walapupun pada akhirnya menyenangkan. Kepuasan kerja Jerpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru Mata pelajaran Ekonomi S.MA di vtalang Raya. Kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, dan kompetensi profesional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, sedangkan kompetensi sosial dan kompensasi berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja guru Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi SMA di Malang Raya. Pada penelitian ini variabel academic atmosphere berperan sebagai variabel moderator yang memoderasi (memperkuat/memperlemah) pengaruh variabel profesionalitas dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja guru melalui variabel kepuasan kerja sebagai intervening variable. Hasil penelitian ini memunculkan beberapa rekomendasi, yaitu perlunya kemitraan antara sekolah dengan LPTK untuk menambah dan meningkatkan kompetensi guru, penyiapan bentuk seleksi penerimaan calon guru, sehingga jabatan guru merupakan panggilan hati/jiwa, meningkatkan social intelegence bagi guru dan pemikiran mengenai kontrak kerja yang mengatur besarnya tunjangan guru atau istilah lain yang besamya sesuai dengan kinerja yang telah dilakukan
Developing Learning Media Based on E-Learning on Accounting Subject for Senior High School Students
This research aims to create the accounting learning media based on e-learning that uses Moodle software. It was one of e-learning applications which could be used in the learning activities and it was easy to be created. It was a Research and Development study which used Borg and Gall model. The stages of the research were: the initial needs analysis, the initial product development, the expert validation, the first revision; the limited field tests; the second revision; and the final product. The material validation was performed by the materials experts; whereas the media validation was performed the media experts and users (students). Findings show that there is 100% validated by the material experts and 96.67% by the media experts; 81.49% by the users (students), and thus the average validation was 92.72%. It means that the learning based on e-learning for accounting subject using Moodle application is very suitable in learning process. Thus; it is suggested to teachers to use the learning media based on e-learning. Then, facilities and infrastructure in the classroom should be provided in order to support the optimal utilization of the media.</p
Performance Efficiency Of Higher Education In Indonesia: From Stakebolden' Perspective
This study aims to analyze the necessity of petformance evaluation in higher education institutions based on benchmarking model of Educational Development Efficiency (ED E), which fimher will be employed to analyze the inclination of stakeholder in deciding which program and university they prefer to choose. The analysis is performed by using binary logistic regression to predict the inclination of stakeholder based on provided assessment factors. The results of this study are consistent with previous studies where input variables in EDE model significantly influence the quality of university outcomes. Furthermore, referring to observed factors, quality of academic services and comprehensive quality of educational institution are emphasized by stakeholder in choosing program and university, while the rank issued by National Accreditation Institution of Higher FAJucation in Indonesia contributes as supporting information. The study on teacher's professionalism phaseshas been conducted by Hargreaves (2000) which concluded thatteacher's professionalismcan be divided into 4 phases: 1) the preprofessional, 2) autonomous professional, 3) collegial professional and 4). post-professional. Each of these phases describes the level of professionalism that is closely related to the teachers' performance. This finding isinterested to be applied in Indonesia due to the Act no. 14 of 2005 on teachers and lecturer who are considered asprofessional teacher. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the phases of professional teacher as well as its influence on the teachers' performance (there are four hypotheses to be tested).This study was conducted on two vocational teachers in the field of Business and Management who consist of 159 teachers as populations.Theselected sample technique is simple random sample of 80 teachers (50% of 159). Data was collected by using questionnaire, both for the dependent variable and autonomous variables; while the data analysis technique was done by using multiple linear regressions that begins with the classical assumption.The results showed that the pre-professional phase, professional, autonomous, and post-professional have significant positive effect on the teachers' performance; whereas the professional phase collegial has a significant effect on the teachers' performance. This finding can be also the basis for rejecting the first and third hypothesis. On the other way around, it accepts the second and fourth hypothesis.From the findings of the study, it is recommended that for similar research should develop a more in-depth indicator of pre-professional and professional variables to examine in depth collegial both from a literature review and the findings of similar research. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
