No full textCBÜ Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Bilimleri DergisiBu çalışmadaki amacımız vücut farkındalığının duygu durum, yaşam kalitesi, fiziksel aktivite ile olan ilişkisini araştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya 18-30 yaş aralığında 378 yetişkin dahil edildi. Katılımcıların demografik ve fiziksel özellikleri değerlendiriciler tarafından oluşturulan forma kaydedildi. Vücut farkındalığı Vücut Farkındalık Anketi ile, Duygu durumu Beck Depresyon Ölçeği ile, Yaşam kalitesini saptamak için Kısa Form-36 ile, Fiziksel aktivite düzeyi Uluslararası Fiziksel Aktivite Anketi Uzun Formu ile değerlendirildi. Vücut farkındalık skoru ile fiziksel aktivite seviyesine arasında farklılık gözlemlenemedi (p>0,05). Katılımcıların vücut farkındalığı ile depresyon skoru arasında negatif yönlü ilişki elde edildi (p0,003). Aynı zamanda vücut farkındalığı ile yaşam kalitesinin alt parametrelerinden fiziksel fonksiyon (p0,020), enerji/canlılık (p0,002) ve genel sağlık algısı (p0,006) arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki saptandı. Sonuç olarak vücut farkındalığı yüksek bireylerin yaşam kalitesinin daha yüksek olduğu, duygu durum bozukluklarının daha az görüldüğü sonucuna ulaşıldı.Our aim in this study was to investigate the relationship of body awareness with mood, quality of life, and physical activity. 378 adults aged 18-30 years were included in the study. The demographic and physical characteristics of the participants were recorded in the form created by the evaluators. Body awareness was evaluated with the Body Awareness Questionnaire, Mood status was evaluated with the Beck Depression Scale, Short Form-36 was used to determine the quality of life, and physical activity level was evaluated with the Long Form of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. No difference was observed between body awareness score and physical activity level (p>0.05). A negative correlation was found between the participants' body awareness and their depression score (p0.003). At the same time, a positive correlation was found between body awareness and physical function (p0.020), energy/vitality (p0.002) and general health perception (p0.006), which are sub-parameters of quality of life. As a result, it was concluded that individuals with high body awareness had a higher quality of life and less mood disorders

No full textTurkish Journal of Physiotherapy Rehabilitation / Türk Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon DergisiPurpose: Hybrid and distance educational models can lead to different levels of physical activity among students. The aim of our study is to compare the effects of different education models on physical activity and health profile of university healthcare students. Methods: Six hundred healthcare students at Turkish universities between the ages of 17-25 were included in our study. Participants were divided into 2 groups as hybrid (n 300, 246 females, 54 males) and distance (n 300, 258 females, 42 males) according to the education model they received at the university. Measurements were applied online via Google Forms. The Physical Activity (PA) of the participants were assessed with Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF) and the health profiles of the participants were assessed with The Nottingham Health Profile (NHP) inventory. Results: The students in the hybrid education model had significantly higher physical activity level (p0.001) and a better health profile (p0.001) compared to the students who were in distance education model. Conclusions: Students with hybrid education model are more physically active and have a better health profile than students with distance education model because they go to university more than students with distance education model
