Grundlagenforschung und hylistische Methoden entschlüsseln die Bedeutung von ME und anderen wichtigen sumerischen und akkadischen Wörtern.
Damit gelingt es,
(1) die frühesten heiligen Texte, nämlich sumerische rituelle Lieder,
die lange als verloren galten, zu erschließen,
(2) bisher unbekannte Mythen zu identifizieren und
(3) zentrale mesopotamische Quellen neu zu entschlüsseln.
Diese Entdeckungen eröffnen Zugänge zu einer bislang fremden Welt hinter der Keilschrift – einer Welt, durch und durch von Ritualen geprägt, die nicht von Menschen gemacht, sondern von Göttern gesungen, verschriftet, erkämpft und beschützt wurden. Menschen konnten nur nach einer rituellen Vergöttlichung Zugang zu Ritualen erhalten. Neben antiken Konzepten von Ritualen und von Vergöttlichung erarbeitet das Buch eine universell anwendbare Kategorisierung von Ritualen und Ritualfunktionen.The most enigmatic term of Mesopotamian culture can be found wherever gods, kings, temples or the state are involved: the Sumerian word ME.
Basic research and hylistic methods decipher the meaning of ME and other important Sumerian and Akkadian words.
This makes it possible to
(1) uncover the earliest sacred texts, namely Sumerian ritual songs,
which were long considered lost,
(2) to identify previously unknown myths and
(3) decipher central Mesopotamian sources anew.
These discoveries open up access to a previously unknown world behind the cuneiform script - a world characterized through and through by rituals that were not made by humans, but sung, written, fought for and protected by gods. People could only gain access to rituals after a ritual deification. In addition to ancient concepts of rituals and deification, the book develops a universally applicable categorization of rituals and ritual functions.

Sie präsentiert Otto als bedeutenden Reformpädagogen und innovativen Didaktiker. Im Fokus stehen Ottos Methodik des Lateinunterrichts, seine Lehrbücher und die Übungsvorbereitungen (Tirocinia). Die Dissertation analysiert die Besonderheiten seines Ansatzes um 1900 und dessen Relevanz für die heutige Fremdsprachendidaktik, insbesondere in Bezug auf Binnendifferenzierung, Sprachbildung, Inklusion und Lernerautonomie. Das Projekt umfasst Ideengeschichte, historische Bildungsforschung, philologische Analyse sowie didaktische Kritik und Aktualisierung von Ottos Methoden für modernen Unterricht.This study on Berthold Otto as a Latin didactician explores the hitherto little-known writings on Latin teaching by the German pedagogue of the Reformpädagogik-movement (New Education Movement) Berthold Otto in the historical-didactic context of their emergence and from the methodological-didactic perspective of modern Latin teaching. In this way, it makes a novel contribution to understanding Otto as an important player in the pedagogy of his own time on the one hand and as an innovative didactician on the other. The core concern of the work is to trace Otto’s methodology for teaching Latin on the basis of his two Latin textbooks as well as the numerous explanatory preparations for original Latin writers written in Latin, the so called Tirocinia. The dissertation also highlights Otto’s unique features in the context of Latin didactics around 1900 and explores the potential inherent in these writings with regard to modern foreign language didactics in the field of Latin. In doing so, it was possible to highlight the significant potential of Otto’s work with regard to modern concepts such as internal differentiation, language education, inclusion and learner autonomy. The project encompasses the core areas of the history of ideas / intellectual history, historical educational research, philological text analysis as well as didactic methodological criticism of Otto’s approach and its updating for the requirements of modern teaching

Wie Drehbuchautor*innen, und gemeinsam mit ihnen Redakteur*innen, Producer*innen, Dramaturg*innen und Regisseur*innen, die textlichen Arbeitsgrundlagen für die audiovisuelle Umsetzung von Fernsehserien schaffen, untersucht diese ethnografische Studie. Anhand berufsbiografischer Interviews und teilnehmender Beobachtungen an zwei Filmhochschulen und Produktionsfirmen für tägliche Serien nähert sich Nathalie Knöhr den Praktiken und Erfahrungen Serienschreibender in der Arbeitswelt des Unterhaltungsfernsehens. Mit Soaps und Daily Novelas nimmt sie insbesondere serielle Erzählformen in den Blick, deren als industriell geltende Arbeitspraktiken wenig Renommee einbringen. Dabei zeigt sie auf, wie Serienschreibende dieser Bereiche Autor*innenschaft und Kreativität aushandeln. Collaboration and division of labor shape the project-based processes of developing, writing and editing fictional serial narratives to varying degrees. This ethnographic study examines how screenwriters, conjointly with commissioning editors, producers, dramaturges, and directors, create the textual working basis for the audiovisual realization of televised serial entertainment. Based on professional biographical interviews and participant observation at two film schools and production companies for daily drama series, Nathalie Knöhr approaches the practices and experiences of series writers in today’s working world of German-speaking televised entertainment. With soaps and daily novelas, she particularly focuses on serial narrative forms whose working practices are considered industrial and yield little reputation. In doing so, she shows how series writers in these fields negotiate authorship and act out creativity. Narrative vignettes provide further insights into potential failure and learning situations in dealing with aesthetic and economic conventions of series writing

Sie räumt mit Vorurteilen gegenüber linker Militanz auf und präzisiert den Handlungsbedarf aus Perspektive der Demokratieforschung. Zum Abschluss des vom Bundesprogramm „Demokratie leben!“ geförderten Projekts versammelt die vorliegende Publikation aktuelle Erkenntnisse zu linker Militanz in Deutschland sowie Erfahrungen zum Umgang mit ihr.
Die Beiträge widmen sich verschiedenen Analysefeldern – wie etwa Häuserkämpfen, Antifaschismus oder Klimaaktivismus – sowie szenetypischen Ausprägungen von Phänomenen wie Sexismus, Antisemitismus oder Radikalisierung. Zugleich werden Ansätze zum präventiv-pädagogischen Umgang mit linker Militanz vorgestellt und kontrovers diskutiert. The “Bundesfachstelle Linke Militanz”, based at the Institute for Democracy Research at the University of Göttingen, has been examining various facets of this phenomenon over the past years. The Bundesfachstelle challenges common prejudices against left-wing militancy and clarifies the need for action from the perspective of democracy research. Concluding the project, funded by the federal program "Demokratie Leben!", this publication presents current findings on left-wing militancy in Germany, as well as experiences in addressing it.
The contributions speak to various fields of analysis – such as housing struggles, antifascism, or climate activism – as well as scene-specific manifestations of issues like sexism, antisemitism, or radicalization. The publication also presents and critically discusses approaches to preventive and educational engagement with left-wing militancy. The diverse contributions from both research and practice collected in this volume enable scholars and professionals in political education and prevention work to engage in a focused examination of the challenges and possible courses of action in addressing left-wing militancy

In einer praxeologischen Perspektive analysiert die Studie auf Grundlage eines umfangreichen und vielfältigen ethnografischen Datenmaterials die komplexen und mitunter konfliktträchtigen Aushandlungsprozesse zwischen verschiedenen Akteur*innen, die der Entstehung und Konsolidierung des Schulfaches zugrunde liegen. Damit leistet die Studie einen Beitrag zur erziehungswissenschaftlichen Forschung zur (Weiter-)Entwicklung von Schulfächern und den damit einhergehenden Konstruktionen von Fachlichkeit. Zudem eröffnet die Studie neue Perspektiven auf die Dynamiken des schulischen Fächerkanons.This dissertation investigates how the specific nature of subjects (“Fachlichkeit”) is constructed as a knowledge practice, using the example of Chinese as a school subject. From a praxeological perspective, the study, based on extensive and diverse ethnographic data, analyzes the complex and conflictual negotiation processes between various actors that underlie the establishment and consolidation of this school subject. Thus, the study contributes to educational research on the (further) development of school subjects and the constructions of the specific nature of subjects. Furthermore, the study opens new perspectives on the dynamics of the canon of subjects
