El libre comercio y la economía mundial según Ha-Joon Chang y Michael Spence

En la visión poskeynesiana de Chang, la políticacomercial de cada país ha de subordinarse a sus intereses nacionales. Michael Spence presenta unavisión más conforme con la ortodoxia predominante, afirmando del consenso de Washington quese trata de orientaciones con gran apoyo en la experiencia de desarrollo y en el análisis económico,que han resultado sin embargo controvertidas y disputadas como consecuencia de la forma en quefueron interpretadas e implementadas. A través de elementos de tipo biográfico, cuestiona aquellas cimentaciones que se realizan por medio del lenguaje. Pero además, las obras artísticas de Chang revelan contradicciones dentro del propio feminismo -blanco, heterosexual y burgués- que deja afuera a quienes que no se ajustan a la norma. Este es el caso de las mujeres inmigrantes que se encuentran atravesadas por la fricción entre sus tradiciones y la absorción de la cultura que las recibe
Identificación de usos medicinales de plantas utilizando información sintáctica y semántica
Full text linkIn Mexico and all over the world, plants have been used to treat diseases and
discomforts. In these days it is possible to find information related to medicinal
plants thanks to the growth of the internet. By finding this information in the form
of text, we may ask whether it is possible to automatically identify sentences that
describe a medicinal use using natural language processing techniques (NLP)?. The
main issue is to find the way to relate the sentences that describe a medicinal use
of those that do not. Using NLP techniques will exploit the syntactic and semantic
information extracted from the original source to discover relations that are not
detected superficially.
Since the purpose is to identify a medicinal use that can be found in the
sentences that compose the text, the task can be seen as a task of short texts
classification. The main characteristic of these tasks is work with small portions
of text, in this case sentences that do not exceed 30 words. The main approach
is to enrich the few information available with information that allows to discover
relations between sentences that can not be detected with the original data.
For the previous reason, this thesis addresses the task of automatic identification of medicinal uses of plants using syntactic and semantic information. We
propose a method that obtains syntactic and semantic information of the sentences
to relate those that describe a medicinal use.
The syntactic information is commonly used in stylistic tasks such as the identi
fication of an author by his written documents, for this task it is considered that the
structure of a sentence that describes a medicinal use can provide information that
allows to differentiate it from another sentences. part of the speech trigrams were
used to identify patterns used in sentences that describe uses, especially medicinal
ones.
On the other hand the semantic information has been used in tasks related
to categories, like differentiating between sports or political news. In this case the
sentences of interest belong to the medical domain, so enriching the sentences with
words related to this domain may be useful for this classiffcation. In order to obtain
the semantic information, the BabelNet semantic resource was used, with this, we
want to relate words of the sentences by generalization to their direct hyperonym.
Experiments were performed with each of the representations separately and by
combinations of these.En México y en todo el mundo se han utilizado a las plantas para combatir enfermedades
y malestares. En estos días es posible encontrar esta información gracias
al crecimiento de Internet. Al encontrarse la información en forma de texto ¿es posible
identificar automáticamente oraciones que describan un uso medicinal mediante
técnicas de procesamiento del lenguaje natural (PLN)?. El principal reto a superar
es encontrar la forma de relacionar las oraciones que describan un uso medicinal de
aquellas que no lo hacen. Utilizando técnicas de PLN se sugiere explotar información
sintáctica y semántica extraída de la fuente original para descubrir relaciones que
no se detectan de manera superficial.
Ya que el propósito es identificar un uso medicinal que puede ser encontrado
en oraciones que componen al texto, la tarea puede ser vista como una tarea de
clasificación de textos cortos. La principal característica de esta tarea consiste en
trabajar con pequeñas porciones de texto, en este caso oraciones que no superan
las 30 palabras. El principal enfoque consiste en enriquecer la poca información
disponible con información que permita descubrir relaciones entre las oraciones que
no pueden ser detectadas con la información original.
Por el motivo anterior en esta tesis se aborda la tarea de identificación automática de usos medicinales de plantas utilizando información sintáctica y semántica.
Se propone un método que obtenga información sintáctica y semántica de las
oraciones para poder relacionar aquellas oraciones que describan un uso medicinal
de aquellas que no lo hacen.
La información sintáctica comúnmente es utilizada en tareas de estilo tal como
la identificación de un autor por sus documentos escritos, En esta tesis se considera
que la estructura de una oración que describe un uso medicinal puede aportar
información que permita diferenciarla de oraciones donde no lo hacen, para ello se
utilizaron trigramas de etiquetas de parte del habla para identificar patrones utilizados
en las oraciones que describen usos, especialmente los medicinales.
Por otro lado la información semántica se ha utilizado en tareas relacionadas
a categorías, como diferenciar entre noticias de deportes o finanzas. En este caso
las oraciones de interés pertenecen al dominio medico, por lo cual el enriquecer las
oraciones con palabras relacionadas a este dominio puede ser útil para esta clasificación

Full text linkThe decade of the forties of the 20th century was a great change for Spanish architecture due to the conflict of the Civil War. The city of León did not stay out of this alteration. As an example of this we have selected the figure of the architect Ramón Cañas y del Río and two of his most representative works such as The Arriola House and The Ceremonias Building.
Two projects that will serve to confront and subsequently verify the stylistic disparities between both buildings despite having been conceived by the same author in a short time interval.
From an incipient and primary rationalism putting in value “the modern”, which meant a real break with the orthodox academicism, to take a step back and return to the concretion of historicist axioms, presumably derived from the implantation of a new Francoist regime obsessed with the search for a national architecture that represents the institutional values of autarky.
The reality was that modernity and tradition were not so far apart in the work of Ramón Cañas, since historicism was nothing more than a mask for the rationalism implicit in his work.La década de los años cuarenta del s. XX supuso un gran cambio para la arquitectura española debido al conflicto de la Guerra Civil. La ciudad de León no se mantuvo al margen de esta alteración. Como ejemplo de ello hemos seleccionado la figura del arquitecto Ramón Cañas y del Río y dos de sus obras más representativas como son la Casa Arriola y el Edificio Ceremonias.
Dos proyectos que nos servirán para confrontar y posteriormente verificar las disparidades estilísticas existentes entre ambas edificaciones a pesar de haber sido concebidas por el mismo autor en un corto intervalo temporal.
Desde un racionalismo incipiente y primario poniendo en valor “lo moderno”, lo que supuso una verdadera ruptura con el ortodoxo academicismo, hasta dar un paso atrás y volver a la concreción de axiomas historicistas, presuntamente derivados de la implantación de un nuevo régimen obsesionado con la búsqueda de una arquitectura nacional que representase los valores institucionales de la autarquía.
La realidad fue que modernidad y tradición no se encontraban tan alejadas en la obra de Ramón Cañas, pues el historicismo no fue más que una máscara al racionalismo implícito en su trabajo

Now the rest of the conversation sees the light, which addresses issues of notable interest: the particular way of approaching his first professional steps as an architect in post-war Spain, Fisac\u27s very personal vision regarding the architects of the Modern Movement with particular attention to work of Le Corbusier, or his position regarding turn-of-the-century architecture when the interview took place. To finish, the author from La Mancha makes a critical approach to the sacred architecture of the 20th century - of which Fisac himself was the main protagonist, at least in our country - and an interesting approach to the plastic artists with whom he had the opportunity to work, from Capuz or Stolz to Susana Polac and Jorge Oteiza.Un extracto de esta conversación, celebrada hace ahora veinticinco años, fue publicado con motivo del centenario del nacimiento del entrevistado en la entrega número 4 de la revista Boletín Académico (BAC). Measuring and analyzing German and Spanish customer satisfaction of using the iPhone 4S Mobile Cloud service
Full text linkThis paper presents the customer satisfaction analysis for measuring popularity in the Mobile Cloud, which is an emerging area in the Cloud and Big Data Computing. Organizational Sustainability Modeling (OSM) is the proposed method used in this research. The twelve-month of German and Spanish consumer data are used for the analysis to investigate the return and risk status associated with the ratings of customer satisfaction in the iPhone 4S Mobile Cloud services. Results show that there is a decline in the satisfaction ratings in Germany and Spain due to economic downturn and competitions in the market, which support our hypothesis. Key outputs have been explained and they confirm that all analysis and interpretations fulfill the criteria for OSM. The use of statistical and visualization method proposed by OSM can expose unexploited data and allows the stakeholders to understand the status of return and risk of their Cloud strategies easier than the use of other data analysis

Herederos y Pretendientes. Una lectura sociológica (1963-1990), recently published. This paper is the author’s response to criticism raised in the Conference and to published reviews received by this book. First, the author summarized the argument of Herederos y pretendientes. Secondly he responds and takes into account the most important objections against the book’s hypothesis and methodology. Explicaremos nuestra experiencia con alumnos de enseñanza superior, concretamente alumnos de la Facultad de Educación y de la Facultad de Geografía. Han sido enseñados y formados para programar, usando herramientas de autor, un multimedia sobre la Sierra Sur de Sevilla. Con esta experiencia esperamos que los estudiantes aprendan a diseñar y evaluar sus propios programas educativos multimedia.This paper must be interpreted as a approach to multimedia education programmes. We related our experience with students of Higher Education, especifically students of Education Science Faculty and students of Geography Faculty. Them were trained and instructed to programme, using author tools, a multimedia about the mountain range in the south of Seville.
