    Produk pangan yang kian kompleks, terutama pada produk daging dapat memicu terjadinya adulterasi, baik sengaja maupun tidak sengaja dengan daging haram. Daging haram (daging babi) yang ada dalam suatu pangan sifatnya adalah haram dikonsumsi oleh umat muslim. Selain itu, produk daging juga banyak beredar di pasaran dengan pelabelan yang kurang jelas. Sehingga, diperlukan suatu teknik yang dapat mendeteksi keberadaan daging haram tersebut dalam suatu matriks pangan. Kajian literatur ini akan membahas terkait penggunaan instrumen Polymerase Chain Reaction-Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) dalam autentikasi halal produk daging dari waktu ke waktu, sekaligus membahas kekurangan dan kelebihan teknik PCR-RFLP dalam autentikasi kehalalan produk.     During first semester of fifth semester of Final Year Project Programme at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), author was supervised by Mr. Muhammad Muzamil bin Mustam, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Lecturer. His role is to make sure all the progress of this project went smoothly including the software and hardware. Author had to cooperate with technician staffs to complete this project. This is because this project is using high voltage of 240V AC current. So, author needs their skills and helped to cooperate with. All the discussions had done together with supervisor and technician staffs at the laboratory after this project is tested. Process of trouble shoot had done to help author to know and understand deeply the flow of this project. The study of this project is to determined that an automatic fan can be controlled by using wireless power transfer. The purposed of this project is wanted to prove that the presence of electricity without the existence of wires. Basically, this project is depended on the coupled of coil which is acted as transmitter and receiver to transfer the electricity to move the fan

    Abstrak Taman Wisata Mekarsari (TWM) merupakan salah satu daerah penyangga ekosistem dan pusat pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati di Indonesia. Keragaman jamur makro asal serasah dan tanah di TWM belum pernah dilaporkan sebelumnya. Jamur merupakan organisme penting dalam siklus materi karena kemampuannya mendegradasi bahan organik pada ekosistem. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyediakan informasi mengenai keragaman jamur makro di TWM untuk pemanfaatan potensinya di masa mendatang. Sebanyak 20 jenis dan 16 genus jamur makro berhasil dikoleksi dari TMW pada penelitian ini. Identifikasi jamur dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai karakter makroskopik. Pada tulisan ini dijelaskan cara deskripsi karakter makroskopik untuk membantu identifikasi jamur. Jamur yang berhasil diidentifikasi pada penelitian ini adalah Amanita sp.1, Amanita sp.2, Auricularia sp., Collybia sp., Clitocybe sp., Crepidotus sp., Cyathus sp., Ganoderma sp., Lepiota sp.1, Lepiota sp.2, Marasmius sp., Naucoria sp.1, Naucoria sp.2, Omphalina sp., Panaeolus sp., Parasola sp.1, Parasola sp.2, Pluteus sp., Scizophyllum sp., dan Xylaria sp. Beberapa jamur yakni Auricularia, Clitocybe, Ganoderma, dan Scizophyllum yang ditemukan berpotensi sebagai bahan pangan dan obat. Inventarisasi data keragaman yang baik akan membantu upaya pengelolaan dan pelestarian kekayaan sumber daya hayati di Indonesia.  Abstract Mekarsari Tourism Area (TWM) is one of the buffer zone of ecosystem and biodiversity conservation center in Indonesia. The diversity of macro fungi from the litter and soil in TWM has not been previously reported. Fungi are important organisms in the material cycle because of their ability to degrade organic matter on the ecosystem. In this study, 20 species and 16 genera of mushrooms were collected from TWM. Mushroom identification is performed using various macroscopic characters. The mushrooms identified in this paper are: Amanita sp.1, Amanita sp.2, Auricularia sp., Collybia sp., Clitocybe sp., Crepidotus sp., Cyathus sp., Ganoderma sp., Lepiota sp.1, Lepiota sp.2, Marasmius sp., Naucoria sp.1, Naucoria sp.2, Omphalina sp., Panaeolus sp., Parasola sp.1, Parasola sp.2, Pluteus sp., Scizophyllum sp., and Xylariasp. Some of them were considered  as food and medicinal source. Good inventory of diversity data will assist the management and conservation of the wealth of biological resources in Indonesia

    Pado adalah pangan fermentasi tradisional dari Provinsi Sumatra Barat, terbuat dari ikan pelagis yang dicampur dengan ampas kelapa dan cacahan daging biji picung (Pangium edulee) kering. Bakteri asam laktat merupakan bakteri yang dominan ditemukan pada produk fermentasi dan umumnya dapat mensekresikan metabolit yang berperan dalam membantu memperpanjang masa simpan produk pangan. Supernatan bebas sel yang dinetralkan (NCFS) dari isolat tersebut diduga mengandung peptida bioaktif, yaitu peptida antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan NCFS murni parsial yang dihasilkan oleh isolat asal pado dengan aktivitas penghambatan terbaik terhadap Salmonella Typhimurium dan Staphylococcus aureus menggunakan metode agar difusi. NCFS kasar diperoleh dari tujuh isolat pado dengan sentrifugasi media pertumbuhannya dan menetralkan supernatannya. Sifat protein dari NCFS kasar dikonfirmasi dengan memaparkan enzim pepsin proteolitik. Ultrafiltrasi digunakan untuk memurnikan NCFS kasar secara parsial. Peptida antibakterinya dikarakterisasi menggunakan liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS). Semua NCFS menunjukkan aktivitas antibakteri terhadap S. Typhimurium, tetapi hanya tiga isolat yang menunjukkan aktivitas penghambatan  terhadap S. aureus. Isolat Lactiplantibacillus plantarum B3Iw4 dipilih untuk penelitian lanjut. Fraksi NCFS dengan berat molekul rendah (dalam rentang 317,20 Da hingga 1.494,70688 Da) setelah ultrafiltrasi dengan membran 3 kDa menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas spesifik tiga kali lipat terhadap S. aureus dibandingkan dengan NCFS kasar. Analisis LC-HRMS mengidentifikasi 20 peptida dalam NCFS murni parsial. Satu peptida, AAERAGAAALAMHGR, diprediksi memiliki aktivitas antibakteri setelah dicocokkan dengan basis data BIOPEP-UWM, dengan sekuen yang cocok AA. Peptida ini memiliki sifat hidrofobisitas yang relatif tinggi dan menarik untuk diteliti lebih lanjut.Pado is a traditional fermented food from West Sumatra, made by combining pelagic fish with grated coconut and dried seeds of Pangium edule. Lactic acid bacteria are the predominant microorganisms present and generally produce metabolites that contribute to prolonging the shelf life of the product. The neutralized cell-free supernatant (NCFS) of these isolates may contain bioactive peptides, such as antibacterial peptides. This study aimed to obtain partially purified NCFS from pado isolates with the best inhibitory activity against Salmonella typhimurium and Staphylococcus aureus using agar diffusion methods. Crude NCFS was obtained from seven isolates from pado by centrifuging their growth media, and the supernatant was neutralized. The proteinaceous nature of crude NCFS was confirmed after artificial digestion with proteolytic pepsin. Ultrafiltration was used to partially purify crude NCFS. Antibacterial peptides were further analyzed using liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS). All NCFS showed antibacterial activity against S. typhimurium, but only three isolates showed apparent inhibitory activity against S. aureus. The Lactiplantibacillus plantarum B3Iw4 isolate was selected for further study. The low-molecular-weight NCFS fraction (in the range of 317.20–1,494.70688 Da) after ultrafiltration by a 3 kDa membrane exhibited a threefold increase in specific activity against S. aureus compared to the crude NCFS. LC-HRMS analysis identified 20 peptides in the partially purified NCFS. The peptide, AAERAGAAALAMHGR, was predicted to have antibacterial activity after matching with the BIOPEP-UWM database, with a matched sequence AA. This peptide has relatively high hydrophobicity and is interesting for further study

    The development of social welfare is a mandate for all countries in the world. Poverty is not only a lack of primary needs, health, and education. Poverty will give equality to various underdeveloped groups of people. Therefore, Raudhatul Sa’adah is a school that tries to ease the burden on the government to empower the community. This study aims to explain: 1) to find out the community in Cemplang Village, Jawilan District, Serang Regency, 2) to find out the social services provided by Raudhatul Sa’adah School in community empowerment. 3) to find out the economic condition of the community in Cemplang Village, Jawilan District, Serang Regency. This study used a qualitative method, because the author wanted to describe the objective of research based on the fact that occurred in the research place. As for the data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that Raudhatul Sa’adah School has a service program, namely an education program and an economic business service program. In the education service program, schools provide several services, namely reading glasses, early childhood, and children's scholarships, while in the economic business service program, nemely are benefits that are felt, namely the benefits of education and economic benefits. The supporting factors of the program are: involvement of good administrators and donor assistance. As for the inhibiting factors, nemely: lack of awareness in archiving data, people who have been empowered choose to live their respective lives, and lack of facilities and infrastructure

    RAKAN COP REWARD PROGRAM

    Rakan COP Reward Program is the extension and enhancement to the current Rakan COP Community Program to reward points to public individual who cares to report criminal cases to police department using SMS via their mobile phones. Points rewarded/earned are based on the seriousness of the case reported as well as the quality of the report made. It is found that the current Rakan Cop system does not get high public participation and the quality of report is much to be desired. Hence the primary objective of this project is to encourage and thus inculcate better interaction between public and police personnel for better combating crimes in Malaysia. The secondary objective is to have a reward system that can help to support the National Key Result Area (NKRA) under the crime category. This project also encompasses elements for building sense of loyalty and community participation to inform the police on crime cases before the crime is committed. Author also will define the boundaries of the system that will be implemented in which the development is to be studied, analyzed, designed, implemented and finally improved. Methodology that will be used during the system development is prototype methodology. Besides that the author also emphasize on the community responsibilities towards fighting the crime in Malaysia. The results and discussion will discuss on contribution of the system, next step need to be taken and other aspect that needs to emphasize in the project. Future work will include on integration between the author's enhanced Information Monitoring & Management System (IMMS) that support the Rakan COP Reward Program with USSD gateway
