Reclamações ambientais em Aveiro, Portugal: atores, preocupações, padrão territorial e resoluções
No full textThis paper presents an environmental diagnosis based on public complaints on environmental
issues submitted to the Environmental Department of the Aveiro City Council, Portugal, between
2000 and 2005. It discusses the potential influences of these in local environmental planning
and governance. The paper has been organised into five sections. The first of these introduces
the study. The second section focuses on the conceptual approaches relating to environmental
grassroots movements, the main actors involved in these movements and the role played by
local government. It also contains a brief review of the most recent urban environmental
quality challenges in the European context together with a description of the main features of
the associated political and legal framework in Portugal. The third section describes the case
study and the methodology used. The results of the empirical study are detailed in the fourth
section. The final section critically analyses these results with emphases on the temporal
evolution of the submission of complaints, the actors involved, the local environmental problems
and their associated spatial pattern as well as the responses given by the City Council. This
information may then be used to provide a useful indicator for the perception of environmental
quality as well as a credible instrument for the visualisation and evaluation of local performance

O presente relatório, realizado no âmbito, da unidade curricular de Estágio II, tem como objetivo a apresentação das atividades, desenvolvidas ao longo destes meses de estágio.
Como tal, e para facilitar a sua compreensão, este relatório está dividido em duas partes, parte A e parte B.

Variations on the Author
No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Il multilinguismo appare come un’urgenza educativa che interpella studiosi e formatori a tutti i livelli al fine di promuovere nei giovani un apprendimento consapevole efficace ed autonomo.Multilingualism constitutes an urgent objective for education, which needs to involve teachers and researchers at all levels if we are to promote effective and autonomous learning in the young. Like Daniela Zorzi, the author considers herself a socially engaged linguist, and in memory of her friend’s work, offers a reflection on the key roles of languages and cultures and of multilingualism for professional success and social welfare today

XIX - Em 1898, o brasileiro Luís de Carvalho deixou em testamento as suas coleções de objetos naturais à Universidade de Coimbra. Era um legado bastante diversificado, compreendendo coleções de insetos, aves, répteis, conchas, sementes, madeiras, objetos em álcool e outras curiosidades naturais, guardadas em armários próprios. Hoje, no Museu da Ciência da Universidade, que acolhe estas coleções, muito pouca informação existe acerca de Luís de Carvalho para além do seu nome e da relação familiar que detinha com um primo bastante mais famoso, António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro, conhecido por “Carvalho dos Milhões”, que também no Museu tem coleções. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi a pesquisa da vida do homem e do colecionador, tentando encontrar, ao mesmo tempo, interesses, continuidades e relações que possam elucidar sobre o início e o desenvolvimento das suas coleções e o legado que decidiu, conscientemente, deixar à Universidade. No fim, sem dúvida, este trabalho é também o pagamento de uma dívida de memória e homenagem que a Universidade de Coimbra deve a este benemérito, que entregou ao Museu as suas possessões mais prezadas para serem protegidas e apreciadas por todos e para sempre. XIX - In 1898, the Brazilian Luís de Carvalho left in his will his collections of natural objects to the University of Coimbra. It was a very diverse lot comprising of collections of insects, birds, reptiles, shells, seeds, woods, objects in alcohol and other natural curiosities that came with their own wooden cabinets. Today, in the Museum of Science of the University, that holds its collections, very few things are known about Luís de Carvalho apart from his name, along with his familiar relation to a much more famous cousin, António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro, branded “Carvalho dos Milhões”, which also has collections in the Museum. The purpose of the present work was the research of the life of the man and the collector, trying to find, at the same time, interests, continuities and connections that could elucidate the making and the development of his collections and the legacy he decided, consciously, to leave to the University. At the end, no doubt, this work is also the payment of a debt of remembrance that the University of Coimbra owns to this benefactor, who gave to the museum its most beloved possessions to be kept and be appreciated by all forever. No full textDissertação de Mestrado em Ensino de Matemática no 3.º ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Secundário apresentada à Faculdade de Ciências e TecnologiaNo âmbito do segundo ano do Mestrado em Ensino da Matemática do 3.º ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Secundário na disciplina Estágio e Relatório, Daniela Silva, autora deste relatório e Vanda Campos tiveram oportunidade de realizar o estágio na Escola Secundária de Jaime Cortesão em Coimbra, no ano letivo 2017/2018, sob supervisão pedagógica da Orientadora Cooperante Dra. Ana Paula Mouro e Orientação Científica do Professor Doutor Jaime Carvalho e Silva. O Núcleo de Estágio era constituído pela Dra Ana Paula Mouro e duas alunas a frequentar o último ano do Mestrado. A prática letiva foi desenvolvida em duas turmas do 10.º ano e 11.º ano do Curso Científico-Humanístico de Ciências e Tecnologias, na disciplina de Matemática A. Este relatório tem como objetivo realizar uma abordagem de todas as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do ano letivo, pela autora no decorrer do Estágio. No final é apresentada uma reflexão pessoal sobre as experiências que o estágio proporcionou: planeamento e leccionação de aulas, como a concretização de atividades com os alunos.While attending the subject Internship and Report, included in the program of the second year of the MSc in Mathematics Teaching in the 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education, Daniela Silva, the author of this report, and Vanda Campos had the opportunity to do an internship in the Secondary School Jaime Cortesão during the school year 2017/2018. The internship was done under the pedagogical supervision of the Cooperating Supervisor Dr Ana Paula Mouro and the scientific supervision of Professor Jaime Carvalho e Silva. The Internship Group was formed by both the Cooperating Supervisor, Dr Ana Paula Mouro, and the two students attending the second year of the master’s degree. The classroom practice included teaching two classes of students attending Mathematics A, a subject which is part of the Science and Technologies Scientific-Humanistic course in year 10 and year 11. The aim of this report is to approach all the activities developed throughout the school year, by the author in the present academic year in the Intership. The final part of the report includes a personal reflection on the teacher training experience: planning lessons, teaching, developing activities with the students
CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA PLATAFORMA CONTINENTAL INTERNA DO SETOR ABRIGADO DO NORTE DA ILHA DE SANTA CATARINA, BRASIL, ATRAVÉS DE DADOS INTERFEROMÉTRICOS

OceanografiaEste trabalho apresenta uma caracterização batimétrica e sonográfica da plataforma continental interna adjacente às praias dos setor abrigado do norte da Ilha de Santa Catarina, entre o Pontal da Daniela e a Ponta da Laje. Para isso, foram aquisitados 442 quilômetros de em linhas interferométricas, sendo o processamento da sonografia feito no software SonarWiz5®, e da batimetria, no HYPACK 2013. Nos dados de sonografia, foi extraída a coluna d’água e aplicado ganho, gerando mosaicos sonográficos de toda a área de estudo. Por sua vez, o processamento da batimetria foi realizado no software HYPACK® 2013, sendo concluído através da correção da maré e dos perfis de velocidade do som, seguidas da edição de cada linha para retirada de picos discrepantes. Assim, pode-se gerar mapas batimétricos de detalhe para toda a área. De posse desses mapas e mosaicos, pode-se, então, realizar uma caracterização da área, na qual foram identificadas feições como marcas onduladas nas Praias da Daniela e Jurerê, e tipos de sedimentos, como consolidados na Ponta das Canas e Canasvieiras, e sedimentos mais finos em todas as praias
