    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik dalam bidang fisika, khususnya pada materi perpindahan kalor. Hal ini disebabkan karena metode pembelajaran konvensional dan kurangnya alat-alat praktikum yang menunjang proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal itu, peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan alat peraga perpindahan panas. Adapun tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan alat peraga perpindahan panas atau tidak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Swasta Pondok Daun. Metode kuasi eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI-B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI-A sebagai kelas kontrol tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jumlah keseluruhan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 52 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes yang terbagi menjadi dua yaitu: pretest dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh siswa menguasai perpindahan kalor sebelum adanya perlakuan dan posttest dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan penguasaan siswa terhadap materi perpindahan kalor setelah adanya perlakuan. Disamping itu, data juga dikumpulkan melalui angket untuk mengetahui kelayakan alat media peraga dan keefektifan penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan alat peraga perpindahan panas pada proses pembelajaran dikelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penemuan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi perpindahan kalor dikelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan sebesar 35.77% dan 15.97% untuk kelas kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh nilai rata-rata pretest peserta didik sebesar 49.04 dan 84.81 untuk posttest. Sementara dikelas kontrol, nilai rata-rata pretest peserta didik se besar 38.46 dan 54.43 untuk posttest. Itu artinya bahwa penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan alat peraga perpindahan panas berpengaruh dan efekti terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. / The background to this research is the low of the students’ study results on physic subject, especially on the heat transfer material. This is due to conventional learning methods and the lack of practical tools that support the learning process. To overcome this, researchers applied a discovery learning model assisted by heat transfer teaching aids. This research aimed to see whether the application of discovery learning model assisted by heat transfer has an effect in improving the students; learning results at XI-B class. The research was conducted at SMA Swasta Pondok Daun, West Java. A quasi-experimental method was used in this research. Based on the result finding, it can be concluded that, the student’s study results on the heat transfer material in the experimental class has increased as much as 35.77% and 15.97% for the control class. This case can be shown by the students’ mean scores of the pretest as much as 49.04 and 38.46 for the posttest. Meanwhile, in the class control, the students’ mean scores of the pretest as much as 38.46 and 54.43 for the posttest.     Easy, Simple, Lower Cost -Heat Transfer Kit: A Case Study of Implementation and Student Response

    The low level of scientific literacy in Indonesia has prompted efforts to improve the quality of science education, particularly through the promotion of science process skills. Practical activities such as experiments and hands-on investigations are indicators of science skill–based learning. However, their implementation is often limited by the lack of adequate laboratory equipment. This study introduces a simple, low-cost experimental kit designed to facilitate the teaching of heat and its transfer processes, specifically for the senior high school level. The study describes the kit construction, provides conceptual explanations of the underlying physics, and examines student participation during learning activities conducted with the Discovery Learning model. A case study approach was employed, with qualitative data collected through classroom observations and informal interviews. The findings indicate that students actively engaged throughout the learning process, from assembling the kit to conducting group experiments. They were able to directly observe heat transfer phenomena through conduction, convection, and radiation. This hands-on experience enhanced their conceptual understanding, as reflected in their ability to confidently explain experimental results during class discussions. The study concludes that the Simple Heat Transfer Kit can serve as an effective alternative medium for teachers to implement science skill–based learning, thereby improving both student participation and conceptual comprehension, particularly on the topic of heat transfer

    The effect of customer engagement on repurchase intention among Indonesia’s digital banks

    A new era of banking in Indonesia has arrived with digital transformation in the banking sector. Digital banks are the main choice of young people, especially millennials and Generation Z. How to choose the ideal digital bank? This research tries to answer the question by understanding the role of customer engagement on repurchase intention. The author connects digital bank applications with customer satisfaction and customers will be committed to attaching themselves to the selected digital bank application. The author uses structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the research model with a sample of millennial and Generation Z customers (n = 200). The study results show a significant positive influence of customer satisfaction on customer engagement and repurchase intention of this generation of customers. These findings can provide input for application development and marketing strategies that suit customers, especially millennials and Z generations. Other digital application companies in Indonesia can conclude what the expectations of millennial and Generation Z customers are. To the author's knowledge, there have not been many articles discussing digital banks, the relationship between application use which is an antecedent effect on customer satisfaction, and the effect of customer engagement on repurchase intention in Indonesia.Era baru perbankan di Indonesia telah tiba dengan adanya transformasi digital di sektor perbankan. Bank digital menjadi pilihan utama masyarakat generasi muda khususnya generasi milenial dan generasi Z. Bagaimana memilih bank digital yang ideal? Penelitian ini mencoba menjawab pertanyaan dengan memahami peran keterikatan pelanggan (customer engagement) terhadap minat beli kembali (repurchase intention). Penulis menghubungkan aplikasi bank digital dengan kepuasan pelanggan (customer satisfaction) dan pelanggan akan komitmen untuk mengikatkan diri ke aplikasi bank digital yang dipilih. Penulis menggunakan structural equation modelling (SEM) untuk menguji model penelitian dengan sampel pelanggan generasi milenial dan generasi Z (n = 200). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif signifikan dari kepuasan pelanggan (customer satisfaction) ke keterikatan pelanggan (customer engagement) dan minat beli kembali (repurchase intention) pelanggan generasi tersebut. Temuan ini dapat memberikan masukan untuk pengembangan aplikasi dan strategi pemasaran yang sesuai dengan pelanggan, terutama generasi milenial dan Z. Perusahaan aplikasi digital lainnya di Indonesia bisa menarik kesimpulan apa harapan pelanggan milenial dan generasi Z. Sepengetahuan penulis, belum banyak artikel yang membahas bank digital, hubungan antara penggunaan aplikasi yang merupakan pengaruh anteseden terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan pengaruh keterlibatan pelanggan terhadap minat beli kembali di Indonesia
