Variations on the Author
No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Com base neste debate, elegemos critérios relacionados à apropriação nas escalas da estrutura da cidade e da configuração dos lugares, e procedeu-se à caracterização e análise da cidade contemporânea de Quito para verificar padrões espaciais diretamente associados com uma apropriação positiva da cidade na cultura quitenha. A partir dos critérios selecionados e dos padrões positivos identificados, lançamos diretrizes de projeto de arquitetura da cidade para uma área de expansão da cidade contemporânea de Quito no Equador - a Paróquia de Cumbayá - buscando responder a critérios de bom desempenho da forma urbana que potencializem a apropriação de seus espaços públicos.The research seeks to understand the relationship between the different forms that the city has acquired over time and contemporary forms of appropriation, based on a theoretical discussion of concepts and criteria of authors who discuss the performance of the form of the city in relation to the appropriation of public spaces. Based on this debate, we selected criteria related to appropriation, both at the scale of city structure and at the scale of place configuration, and proceeded to the characterization and analysis of the contemporary city of Quito in a search to identify spatial patterns directly associated with a positive appropriation of the city in Quito´s culture. The selected criteria and the positive patterns identified oriented the design guidelines here proposed for the architectural design of the Paróquia of Cumbayá - an area of expansion in the city of Quito, Ecuador - in an attempt to comply with the criteria of good urban form performance so as to enhance the appropriation of its public spaces
Optimització de la logística inversa i del servei postvenda en una empresa del sector VMP
No full text[ES] Este proyecto se centra en la optimización de la logística inversa y servicio postventa de una empresa del sector de Vehículos de Movilidad Personal (VMP) mediante la implantación de protocolos estandarizados, desarrollo e integración del Portal Cliente en el ERP Odoo, automatización de procesos y un sistema de mejora continua adoptado. El principal objetivo es la eficiencia operativa, adoptar un modelo de economía circular, reducir los costes operativos y el incremento de la facturación del departamento, a la vez que incrementar la satisfacción del cliente.
El trabajo se desarrolla en el ámbito organizacional del departamento postventa, donde se realizó un análisis exhaustivo de los procesos de postventa para identificar ineficiencias y
oportunidades de mejora. A partir de este análisis, se implementó un modelo integral de logística inversa que abarca la gestión administrativa, técnica y logística, garantizando
trazabilidad total en cada etapa: devoluciones, garantías (DOA/RMA), reparaciones, reacondicionamiento y reintegración de equipos al cliente o al inventario. Por otro lado, se
establecieron indicadores claves de desempeño (KPI) que permiten monitorizar resultados en tiempo real y apoyar la toma de decisiones.
Los resultados obtenidos demuestran mejoras significativas en el servicio postventa gracias al cumplimiento estricto de los protocolos: el departamento postventa se ha convertido en un activo estratégico en lugar de un centro de costes, generando valor y alineado con la estrategia de sostenibilidad de la empresa.
La autora se basa gran parte del trabajo en su experiencia profesional de cinco años optimizando e implementando las mejoras en el departamento postventa de la empresa, lo que le permite ofrecer una visión muy práctica y detallada del proceso.[EN] This project focuses on the optimization of reverse logistics and after-sales service in a company from the Personal Mobility Vehicles (PMV) sector through the implementation of standardized protocols, the development and integration of the Customer Portal in the ERP Odoo, process automation, and the adoption of a continuous improvement system. The main objective is operational efficiency, adopting a circular economy model, reducing operating costs, and increasing the department s revenue, while also enhancing customer satisfaction.
The work is developed within the organizational scope of the after-sales department, where an exhaustive analysis of processes was carried out to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Based on this analysis, a comprehensive reverse logistics model was implemented, covering administrative, technical, and logistical management, ensuring full traceability at each stage: returns, warranties (DOA/RMA), repairs, reconditioning, and reintegration of equipment to the customer or inventory. In addition, key performance indicators (KPIs) were established to monitor results in real time and support decision-making.
The results obtained demonstrate significant improvements in the after-sales service thanks to strict compliance with the protocols: the after-sales department has become a strategic asset rather than a cost center, generating value and aligned with the company s sustainability strategy.

Els resultats obtinguts demostren millores significatives en el servici postvenda gràcies al
compliment estricte dels protocols: el departament postvenda s’ha convertit en un actiu
estratègic en lloc d’un centre de costos, generant valor i alineat amb l’estratègia de sostenibilitat
de l’empresa.

No full textA melanopsina é um fotopigmento responsável por gerar uma série de respostas à luz nos organismos como a regulação do ritmo circadiano, reflexo pupilar e controle da temperatura corporal. Dois genes parálogos foram descritos, Opn4x e Opn4m, como responsáveis pela expressão da melanopsina. O papel de cada tipo de melanopsina na retina dos vertebrados ainda não está totalmente elucidado e observa-se uma diversidade de padrões de expressão deste fotopigmento em retinas de diferentes espécies de vertebrados. As corujas são um excelente modelo para o estudo do papel da melanopsina devido a diversidade de espécies e seus padrões de atividades diferenciados, com corujas de hábitos diurno, noturno e catemeral. O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar a expressão da melanopsina em diferentes espécies de corujas da família Strigidae e Tytonidae: Athene cunicularia, Asio clamator, Glaucidium brasilianum, Megascops choliba e Tyto furcata, através de análises genéticas, filogenéticas e morfológicas. Os animais foram obtidos junto ao Instituto de Ciências Biológicas, da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e sacrificados com o fármaco pentobarbital sódico (50 mg/kg de peso) injetado por via intraperitoneal, seguido de guilhotina. As coletas foram realizadas no período de 11h30-12h30 no mês de agosto/2019. Os olhos foram enucleados e as retinas foram dissecadas para os estudos genéticos e morfológicos. Foi realizada a extração do RNA e a sua transcrição em cDNA. O cDNA foi utilizado na reação em cadeia da polimerase (PCR) com posterior sequenciamento para identificação dos genes de melanopsina expressos na retina das corujas. Para as análises quantitativas da expressão gênica foi realizada a técnica de PCR em tempo real. Os dados obtidos foram comparados por análise de variância (ANOVA ONE-WAY) seguida pelo teste de Tukey. A reconstrução filogenética foi obtida pela método de Máxima Verossimilhança (Maximum Likelihood, ML), utilizando o programa GARLI v.0.96. O suporte estatístico para os ramos foi obtido por boostrap não paramétrico. Nos estudos morfológicos, retinas íntegras das espécies A. cunicularia, G. brasilianum e T. furcata foram marcadas com anticorpos específicos para a melanopsina OPN4x e OPN4m, por imunohistoquímica e revelados com anticorpo secundário CY3. Os resultados genéticos mostraram que as corujas expressam os dois genes de melanopsina, Opn4x e Opn4m e as análises filogenéticas dos genes recuperou a filogenia das corujas, com separação de dois clados monofiléticos formados pelas famílias Strigidae e Tytonidae. Os resultados de PCR em tempo real mostraram uma variação no perfil de expressão dos genes entre as espécies noturnas, diurnas e catemerais. Nos resultados morfológicos foi observado que a melanopsina pode estar expressa na camada dos fotorreceptores (CF), na camada nuclear interna (CNI), na camada de células ganglionares (CCG), e na camada de fibras nervosas. Com base em todos os resultados obtidos, observa-se que em espécies com diferentes hábitos o padrão de melanopsina se difere e é possível inferir que os genes de melanopsina podem apresentar funções diferentes na retina de corujas. Os resultados apontam para a necessidade de novas pesquisas sobre a expressão gênica da melanopsina em corujas em outros períodos do dia, a fim de entendermos melhor como é o padrão de expressão ao longo do dia nestas espécies e sua relação com os diferentes padrões de atividade diáriaMelanopsin is a photopigment responsible for generating a series of responses to light in organisms, such as circadian rhythm regulation, pupillary reflex and body temperature control. Two paralogous genes, Opn4x and Opn4m, were described as responsible for the expression of melanopsin. The role of each type of melanopsin in the vertebrate retina is still not fully elucidated and a diversity of expression patterns of this photopigment can be observed in retinas of different vertebrate species. Owls are an excellent model for studying the role of melanopsin due to the diversity of species and their different activity patterns, with owls with diurnal, nocturnal and cathemeral habits. The purpose of the study was to characterize the expression of melanopsin in different species of owls of the Strigidae and Tytonidae family: Athene cunicularia, Asio clamator, Glaucidium brasilianum, Megascops choliba, and Tyto furcata, through genetic, phylogenetic and morphological analyses. The animals were obtained from the Institute of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and sacrificed with the sodium pentobarbital (50 mg/kg of weight) injected intraperitoneally, followed by a guillotine. Collections were carried out from 11:30 am to 12:30 am in August/2019. The eyes were enucleated, and the retinas were dissected for genetic and morphological studies. RNA extraction and transcription cDNA were performed. The melanopsin cDNA was used in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with subsequent sequencing to identify melanopsin genes expressed in the retina of owls. For the quantitative analysis of gene expression, the real-time PCR was performed. Data were compared by analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) followed by Tukey test. The phylogenetic reconstruction was obtained by the maximum likelihood method (Maximum Likelihood, ML) using the program Garli v.0.96. Statistical support for the branches was obtained by non-parametric boostrap. In morphological studies, retinas of the species A. cunicularia, G. brasilianum and T. furcata were labeled with specific antibodies for melanopsin OPN4x and OPN4m, by immunohistochemistry and revealed with secondary antibody CY3. The results showed that the genetic owls express both genes of melanopsin, Opn4x Opn4m, and phylogenetic analysis of the gene recovered phylogeny of owls, with separation of two monophyletic clades formed by Strigidae and Tytonidae families. Real-time PCR showed a variation in expression pattern between nocturnal, diurnal and catameral species. In the morphological results, it was observed that melanopsin can be expressed in the photoreceptor layer (PL), in the inner nuclear layer (INL), in the ganglion cell layer (GCL), and in the nerve fiber layer (NFL). Based on all the results obtained, it is observed that in species with different habits the melanopsin pattern differs and it is possible to infer that melanopsin genes may have different functions in the retina of owls. The results point to the need for further research on the gene expression of melanopsin in owls at other times of the day, to better understand the pattern of expression throughout the day in these species and its relationship with different patterns of activity dail

No full textThis article aims, through literary analysis, to show how the memory of author Fernando Sabino is present within the novel O Menino no Espelho (2010), seeking to identify the characteristics of the narrative literary genre. This research is of a qualitative nature, aiming to contribute to literary reading based on bibliographical analyzes of memories of the romance genre. Within the methodology, the object of analysis was the aforementioned book by Sabino. In this way, seeking to deepen the theme, bibliographical research, articles, books were used. Data collection took place through reading the work, bibliographical analysis and through records of subjects related to the research. In view of the data, the presence of Sabino's memory in the referred novel was identified. Thus, literary reading is one of the ways offered in this work to carry out an academic analysis. Theorists who supported the research: Fernando Tavares Sabino (2010), Angélica Maria Santos Soares (2007), Marisa Lajolo and Regina Zilberman (2011), Maria Clotilde Pires Bastos and Daniela Vitor Ferreira (2016), José Luiz Jobim (2012).Este artigo tem como objetivo, por meio da análise literária mostrar como a memória do autor Fernando Sabino se faz presente dentro do romance O Menino no Espelho (2010), buscando identificar as características do gênero literário narrativo. Esta pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, visando contribuir com a leitura literária a partir de analises bibliográficas de memórias do gênero romance. Dentro da metodologia o objeto de análise foi o referido livro de Sabino. Desta forma, buscando o aprofundamento do tema, foram utilizadas a pesquisa bibliográfica, artigos, livros. A coleta de dados se deu por meio da leitura da obra, análise bibliográfica e através de fichamentos dos assuntos relacionados a pesquisa. Diante dos dados, identificou-se a presença de memória de Sabino no referido romance. Assim, a leitura literária é uma das formas oferecidas neste trabalho para se fazer uma análise acadêmica. No full textAl di là della sua innegabile funzione pratica, la categoria della perdita di chances presta il fianco a varie perplessità, a cominciare dal tema dell’individuazione dell’evento lesivo di riferimento, per proseguire con la soglia minima di “concretezza” che la chance deve possedere affinché sia data dignità risarcitoria al danno derivante dalla sua perdita. L’analisi parallela di entrambi tali profili porta alla conclusione che la ricerca di un equilibrio tra vittime e danneggianti “incerti” debba abbandonare il canale della responsabilità civile, che, nel risarcire un pregiudizio solo plausibile, è destinata ad una perenne oscillazione tra derive equitative e soggettivismi sanzionatori del giudice.Beyond its indisputable practical role, the instrument of “loss of chance” gives the authors many reasons to doubt about its coherence inside the system of civil liability. Agenda di un parlamentare anglofilo: gli Studi costituzionali di Emilio Broglio (1861)
No full textThe chapter focuses on a short treatise published by the Italian right wing liberal Emilio Broglio in 1861. At the time Broglio was a deputy of the first national Parliament, having a previous experience in the sub-alpine Legislature. In his work he questions the elected Chamber's rules of procedure, which he believes inadequate to the conspicuous legislative action the institution must take to answer the growing Nation's needs. Looking for an alternative discipline, he checks English parliamentary model and on that basis designs a reform that would be suitable to the Italian case. So the essay qualifies both as a constitutional study and an operating proposal. Thanks to Broglio's initiative, it actually inspired some minor procedure reform but it was shortly overcome by the liberal party's decision to abandon the idea nourished by Cavour of a strict imitation of English representative institutions. Despite this failure, Broglio's work testifies a mature insight in modern parliamentary functioning, somewhat unexpected of the Lombard political culture to which the author, due to his origins, belonged
