History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2023. This study aims to describe the development of Jazz music in Indonesia and the existence of Jazz music in Indonesia from 1959 to 1988. The research method used is historical research method whose steps consist of gathering sources (heuristics), source criticism (verification), interpretation (interpretation), and writing (historiography). In the first stage the writer collects primary sources in the form of newspapers, magazines and historical actors, as well as secondary sources such as books and journals. After the data is collected, it is then verified externally and internally. Next, interpret the meaning of facts and the relationship between one fact and another. The author brings together the facts that have been interpreted. The final stage is thesis writing. This research yields information that historically Jazz music was banned in Indonesia during Soekarno's reign and was finally allowed to be developed again during Suharto's reign. 1959 marked the banning of Jazz music through the MANIPOL issued by Soekarno, even though in its history this period was the heyday of Jazz music in Indonesia. Then 1988 was the year Jak Jazz was formed as the largest international scale Indonesian Jazz music festival at that time. Jak Jazz indicates that Jazz music is being accepted again and is starting to spread its wings to the general public. It can be concluded that the history of jazz in Indonesia is very long and can be influenced by political policies so that in the end we can listen to the masterpieces of jazz musicians at that time today. Capturing Value from Platform-as-a-Service Technology: Platform-as-a-Service Adoption Model for Large Enterprises

Cloud computing market is expected to grow rapidly in the next five years. Even though Software-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions will dominate most of the market, Platform-as-a-Service solution is forecasted to have the fastest-growing segment, especially in Western Europe. On the other hand, cloud computing is also argued to be the new playing ground for Telecommunication industry. As the industry facing a threat for just being the network “bit piper”, telecom operators might find a new revenue source within the cloud computing domain. The issues explained above have led us to conduct a research that aimed at two objectives. First is to give guidance to larger enterprise companies in the Netherlands on how to capture values from PaaS offering. Second, this research aimed to identify whether telecom companies could create particular new business value and opportunities from the PaaS service provision. Therefore this study raised a challenging main questions: “What factors are important for large enterprise clients to adopt Platform-as-a-Service in order to capture the business value that is offered from Platform-as-a-Service offering, and what are the strategic implications of the Platform-as-a-Service adoption for Telecom industry?” To answer the main questions, five research sub-questions were formulated. A theoretical approach from business model literature is used to guide answering the main research questions. A conceptual model of PaaS adoption factors was developed, which is based on the STOF business model framework. Analysis of PaaS market in the Netherlands was conducted among 9 client companies and 3 PaaS provider companies, in order to validate the conceptual model. The results showed that the PaaS market in the Netherlands are still immature, thus making the validation of the conceptual model for PaaS adoption hard to be generalized. Modification of the analysis approach was taken that enable us to analyze the conceptual model for SaaS adoption as well. Our study found that there are several factors within the Service domain that are important for clients when they consider which applications to be moved to PaaS or SaaS environment. The most important factor is criticality of application that wants to be moved to the cloud. These factors from the Service domain influence client’s technical requirements on Security, Quality of Service, and System Integration issues. Furthermore, our research found that there are several factors that client take into account when they about to choose PaaS and SaaS providers. These factors serve as assessment framework whether the providers’ profile can meet clients’ requirements. Our finding shows that Branding is the most important factor of PaaS and SaaS providers. Branding is important because it is closely associated with trustworthiness. Moreover, trust also becomes really important, because in PaaS and SaaS implementation clients are losing control of their application data. In addition, our finding also shows that the factor of data location is really important in PaaS and SaaS adoption. A key stakeholder, namely the regulators, drives this data location factor. We also found that clients perceived system integrators and network providers as the other important key stakeholder in the provision of PaaS and SaaS services. Furthermore, our study also found that telecom companies could play two roles in cloud computing domain in order to create new business value, and hence making new revenue source. The first role is to be Cloud service provider. This role means that telecom companies could exploit their main resources of Internet network infrastructure to deliver a guaranteed and high level end-to-end cloud services (both PaaS or SaaS services). The second role is to be Cloud service broker. This role exploits telecom companies’ resource of broad customer base and customer relationship in order to mediate cloud providers and the clients. Being cloud service broker enables telecom companies to gain monetary incentives by means of revenue sharing. Our study concludes that clients need to take into account factors in the four domains of Service, Technology, Organization, and Finance in order to capture the value of PaaS and SaaS offering. On top of that, clients need to take into consideration the regulation applied in order to legally implement cloud computing solutions. Clients also need to acknowledge the importance of system integrators and network providers in utilizing cloud computing services. This study adds several main contributions to the literature. Firstly, this study has made the first attempt to construct an adoption model for PaaS and SaaS specifically. Secondly, this study has contributed to business model theory, particularly by extending the applicability of STOF model. Thirdly, this study confirms the existing literature that describes key stakeholders on cloud computing. On top of that, we contribute by adding Network Provider as another key stakeholder. Nevertheless, this study bears some limitations. Due to small sample size, this research serves as means of first validation of the constructed model. We are aware that further research can be conducted to do more extensive validation by means of survey research. However due to the immaturity of cloud computing market, especially PaaS, we suggest that further research on PaaS is better to be conducted later to wait for the market to be developed. Besides the sampling issue, our research was not able to validate our findings on telecom companies role in cloud computing. Further research could focus on validating our results empirically through involvement of industry experts.Management of TechnologyInformation and Communication TechnologyTechnology, Policy and Managemen

The emerging of the online travel agent (OTA) has massively increased in recent years. Looking from the application store, there are several big names of the online travel agent such as Traveloka, Tiket.com, PegiPegi, and Agoda are making use of a mobile application to reach their online customers in this virtual environments. Traveloka, in this case, has the most users rather than any Online Travel agent listed on the application store. However, Traveloka earned as much as 15% negative reviews. Some study taken by the author confirmed that feedback in term of reviews and ratings can be one of the aspects to measure a service quality performance. This research constructs 6 dimensions of E-Service Quality which are Efficiency, System Availability, Fulfillment, Privacy, and contact. The author conducts descriptive analysis with the causal approachment to categorize and simplify the representation of E-service quality, e-Satisfaction, and e-Loyalty as the variables used in this research. The non-probability sampling method is used in this research with convenience sampling procedure. The dependent multivariate technique is applied by the author since this research is predicting one or more dependent variable. Smart Equation Modeling (SEM) is the method used in data analysis to estimate the parameters of each variable, by applying smartPLS 2.0 to process the total of 400 valid answers gathered using the Google docs online questionnaire. Descriptive analysis result showed that the variables used in this research are classified in a good level. By using Smart PLS 2.0 as the tool to calculate the data from the users in this research, the given result was E-Service quality positively influenced E-loyalty through E-satisfaction. Efficiency has become the most influential E-service quality dimension toward customer’s E-satisfaction

1945 Constitution (UUD 1945) as the basic rules or constitution of the Republic of Indonesia has undergone changes or amendment four times. Each change is a manifestation of the implementation of democracy to prevent the possibility of abuses of authority and power that are authoritarian and also to restore freedom and human rights and other democratic rights. In the explanation of 1945 Constitution before the change, the number three roman said that "the highest state power in the hands of the People's Consultative Assembly," stated that the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) as a form of embodiment of all Indonesian people, which can also be interpreted as an Indonesian parliament. People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) based on the third amendment of the 1945 Constitution, became equal with other state agencies, and only run the people's sovereignty which is only determined in 1945 Constitution after the change. Thus there is no expression of the highest state institution that has unlimited power, as defined in the explanation of the original 1945 Constitution. Based on the things that have been described, the authors intend to analize what kind of representative system currently applied in the People's Consultative Assembly after the change of the 1945 Constitution? The author reviewed the data obtained in this study through library research, which analyzed by understanding and string up existing data, and then presented completely to obtain an overview of the investigated problem's object. The author finds that in Indonesia is currently implementing the system or the bicameral representative of two rooms that are soft or weak because of differences about the authority possessed by each representative body that exists in Indonesia by differentiating power and authority between the people's representative institutions, where power and authority of the Parliament is stronger than the regional representative council (DPD)

Community radio is able to offer an alternative that takes the listener impressions, not based on a handful of people or the market desires. It can be called as a medium of resistance counter the hegemony. This research aims to answer the causes of the death of two community radios in Yogyakarta, namely: Radio Panagati and Radio Angkringan. Radio Panagati located in Terban Village Yogyakarta city, while Radio Angkringan in Timbulharjo Village, Bantul. Both radios are the two pairs of the legendary community radio, especially in Yogyakarta. Based on descriptive-exploratory case study research, the author found that the death of two community radio stations is caused by external factors, including: the rules issued by the state to limit the community radio. External factor has an impact on the community radio's inability to resolve internal problems that have long existed. If government needs to support community radio, number of rules that burden community radio must be deleted
