The Role of Teachers and Student Parents in Online Learning Times Covid-19
This study aims to determine the role of teachers and parents in online learning in the Covid-19 situation of Class VI SD Laboratorium UNG. This research is a descriptive qualitative method by using case study research, and the sample was taken by stratified random sampling with number of samples was 20 respondents. The process of collecting data was done through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study show the role of teachers and parents in online learning during the Covid-19 situation has a very important influence. The role of teacher as a motivator, innovator and evaluator during online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The role of parents in supporting online learning by providing facilities, accompanying and directly supervising their children during the learning process at home. The Impact of the Project-Based Learning Model on Students Collaboration Skills in Social Studies Learning at the Elementary School Level
This study examines the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in enhancing students' collaboration skills in Social Studies (IPS) education at the elementary school level. Using a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design, the study involved 20 students at SD Laboratorium UNG. Students' collaboration skills were measured before and after the implementation of PjBL through pretest and posttest assessments. Statistical analysis using paired samples t-test and Cohen's d was conducted to evaluate the significance and effect size of the observed changes. The results indicated a significant improvement in collaboration skills, as reflected in the increase of the average score from 53.1 on the pretest to 69.45 on the posttest. Additionally, Cohen's d value of 2.20 indicated a large effect size, confirming that PjBL not only significantly enhanced students' collaboration skills but also provided a practical and impactful learning experience. This study concludes that PjBL is a highly effective method for enhancing collaboration skills in Social Studies education, preparing students to face challenges in both educational and professional settings
PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL SCREENCAST-O-MATIC UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MATA PELAJARAN PKN KELAS IV DI SDN 05 BOTUMOITO KABUPATEN BOALEMO
This study shows that the learning outcomes of students in the PKN subject are still in the low category. This is indicated by the low learning activity of students at the time of initial observation, with a percentage level of 33.33% of the 24 students. Therefore the researcher took action using the audio-visual screencast-O-matic learning media of diversity material. From the results of research conducted on student learning outcomes, there was an increase of 41.66% in the first cycle of the first meeting, 50% of the first cycle of the second meeting and 62.5% of the first cycle of the third meeting. Whereas in the second cycle of the first meeting the increase in learning outcomes reached 70.83% and in the second cycle the second meeting had increased up to 87.5%. Based on research conducted in cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that by using audio-visual screencast-O-matic media, diversity material can improve student learning outcomes in PKN learning in class IV SDN 5 Botumoito, Boalemo Regency, this is in terms of increasing learning outcomes. students from 33.33% rose to 87.5%Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN masih dalam kategori rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa pada saat observasi awal, dengan tingkat persentase 33,33% dari 24 siswa. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan tindakan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran audio visual screencast-O-matic materi keberagaman. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 41,66% pada siklus I pertemuan I, siklus I pertemuan II 50% dan siklus I pertemuan ketiga 62,5%. Sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama peningkatan hasil belajar mencapai 70,83% dan pada siklus II pertemuan kedua mengalami peningkatan hingga 87,5%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada siklus I dan siklus II dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media audio visual screencast-O-matic, materi keragaman dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PKN di kelas IV SDN 5 Botumoito Kabupaten Boalemo, hal ini dalam hal meningkatkan hasil belajar. siswa dari 33,33% naik menjadi 87,5
Using Audio Visual Screencast-O-Matic Media to Improve Learning Outcomes for PKN Class IV Pkn Students at SDN 05 Botumoito, Boalemo Regency
This study investigates the effectiveness of using Screencast-O-Matic, an audio-visual screencasting tool, to enhance learning outcomes for fourth-grade students in PKN (Civics Education) at SDN 05 Botumoito, Boalemo Regency. Conducted over two cycles with five meetings each, the research utilized classroom action research methodology to assess improvements in student performance. The study revealed a significant increase in student completion rates, from 8% in the initial observation to 87.5% in the second cycle. This improvement highlights the tool's potential to engage students and enhance their understanding of civic concepts. The findings contribute to the literature by providing empirical evidence of the impact of screencast technology on elementary education and addressing gaps related to the effectiveness of digital learning media in specific subject areas
PENGGUNAAN MODEL DIRECT INSTRUCTION DALAM MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS MEMBUAT BINGKAI GAMBAR MELALUI PADA PEMBELAJARAN SENI RUPA KELAS V SDN 11 LIMBOTO KABUPATEN GORONTALO
The purpose of this study was to increase creativity in making picture frames through the direct instruction model in the learning of fine arts for class V at SDN 11 Limboto, Gorontalo Regency. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research with the research subject of 25 fourth grade students at SDN 11 Limboto. This study uses techniques, namely interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data on educator activities, student activity data and students' speaking skills. The research was carried out in two cycles.The results of the research in the initial observation there were 8 students or 32% later, in the first cycle there was an increase with students whose creativity in making picture frames had reached the minimum completeness criteria of 75. In the first cycle that was completed there were 17 people with a percentage of 68% while in the first cycle there were 17 people with a percentage of 68%. II, there are 23 students whose speaking ability has reached completeness with a percentage of 92%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Direct Instruction Model Can Increase Creativity in Making Picture Frames in Visual Arts Learning Class V SDN 11 Limboto
Use of Barcode Based Traditional Games in Improving Student Learning Outcomes in Learning Citizenship Education (PPKN)
This study collaborates between traditional games and technology. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in PPKN (Citizenship Education) learning through barcode-based traditional games tumbawa. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted because based on preliminary observations, the results of students' daily tests in PPKn learning were still low, from 25 students, 25 students, only 12 people or 48% had good learning outcomes. The procedures used in this study consisted of planning, implementing, observing, reflecting. This research was conducted in two cycles of action. The data collection methods used were tests, observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data used a qualitative descriptive method assisted by the calculation of the percentage. The targeted research output is the national journal published in the internationally accredited journal 5. The level of technology readiness used is in the field of education (TKT 2). This research is expected to create a learning atmosphere and a learning process that attracts students' attention so that it provides better learning achievement than before
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
