    No full text
This research investigates the impact of work motivation, digital competence, and the work environment on the performance of employees at the South Sulawesi Provincial DPRD Secretariat. Employing a quantitative methodology, the study gathered data through questionnaires distributed to 78 respondents, comprising ASN staff, contract employees, and outsourced workers. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques, revealing that all independent variables significantly and positively affected employee performance. Digital competence is the most dominant variable, with a contribution of 44%. Each increase of one unit in digital competence has the potential to increase employee performance by 4.04 units. This is supported by the implementation of a digital system that facilitates data management and increases work efficiency. Indicators of data access and use of digital tools are the main contributions in this variable. Work motivation also has a significant effect on performance, especially on indicators of physical, social and self-actualization needs. When basic needs such as salary and facilities are met, and opportunities for potential development are available, employee motivation increases which has an impact on their productivity. The work environment is a key factor in fostering a productive and supportive workplace atmosphere. Indicators of effective communication and a comfortable work atmosphere are the main drivers. Good communication between employees and superiors helps reduce obstacles in completing tasks. In conclusion, developing digital competencies, fulfilling work motivation, and creating a supportive work environment are the main strategies for improving employee performance

Sahih al-Bukhari is one of the most well-known books on prophetic sayings that contains a good deal of authentic hadith. That this book is considered authoritative by a great number of Muslims over centuries is in itself an indication that it is an extraordinary piece of work. The author of the book, al-Bukhari was very careful in selecting the prophetic sayings and do not include the weak hadiths in his collection. However upon a closer scrutiny, there are indeed weak hadiths in the book. And the weakness lies in both the chain of narration and in the texts of the hadith narrated. With regard to the former, the weakness is due to the fact that the names of narrators in some hadiths are not clearly mentioned. This results in some hadiths being baseless and having no relation with some other hadiths. As to the latter, the weakness is due to the inclusion of the sayings and the deeds of the prophet’s disciples without there being approval (taqrīr) from the prophet concerning the acceptability of those sayings and deeds. The weak hadiths can nonetheless be elevated by rule to the higher status of good hadith on condition that the weak hadith receives a support from other authentic hadith

The polemic of differences in starting the fasts of Ramadhan, Shawwal and Zulhijah is still being debated among Islamic calendar experts in Indonesia. There is no agreement on the cause of the difference in determining the beginning of the Hijri Month. The MABIMS New Criteria is among the many criteria when starting the month. MABIMS criteria are agreed upon by the Office of Judges in Malaysia, the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, the Sultanate of Brunei, and the Minister of Religion of Singapore. How does this criteria apply in each country? This paper examines the sociological and astronomical aspects of the applicability of the New MABIMS Criteria and their impact in the Southeast Asian Region. I will be done by looking at the astronomical parameters in realizing an established Hijri calendar. Meanwhile, a socio-political approach contributes to seeing how far the new visibility criteria of MABIMS can be consistently agreed upon in their implementation. In a socio-political approach, the author uses Gelding's theory by adopting an enforceability scheme consisting of factual or empirical, normative or formal, and evaluative. The three enforcement schemes are used to analyze the applicability of the new MABIMS criteria and their impact on the Southeast Asian region. The results show that implementing the new criteria of MABIMS through the three approaches above can be carried out and accelerated toward Hijri Calendar Unifications by mutual agreement
