Optimizing Human Resource Management in Education through Big Data and Learning Analytics
Get PDFThis study explores the optimization of Human Resource Management (HRM) in education through the integration of Big Data and Learning Analytics. Despite the growing availability of educational data, many institutions still face challenges in fully utilizing these technologies to enhance HRM practices. The research focuses on how Big Data and Learning Analytics can improve key HRM processes such as recruitment, performance evaluation, professional development, and teacher retention. By reviewing existing literature, this study identifies gaps in the current use of these technologies and proposes strategies to overcome barriers related to their implementation. The findings suggest that integrating Big Data and Learning Analytics into HRM practices can significantly improve decision-making, foster teacher development, and ultimately contribute to better academic and non-academic outcomes. The study concludes that a data-driven approach to HRM is essential for optimizing educational management and achieving sustainable improvements in teaching and learning. Further research is needed to explore effective strategies for the integration of these technologies into HRM practices to fully realize their potential in education

It was a quantitative research was conducted in sixteen schools located in Jakarta Centre . The research uses a survey method with path analysis was applied in testing hypothesis. It was conducted to 153 Teachers at Private Catholic Elementary Schools as the respondents which were selected in a simple random way. The result of this study are: (1). There is a positive direct effect of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on productivity. (2). There is a positive direct effect of job satisfaction on productivity, and (3). There is a positive direct effect of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on job satisfaction.</jats:p

Get PDFPenelitian ini berjudul “Optimalisasi Hasil Belajar Peserta PAK kelas IV SDK Waibalun II Pada Materi Diriku Unik Dengan Metode Paikem Gembrot Semester I Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024”. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengoptimalkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik kelas IV SDK Waibalun II pada empat aspek penilaian PAK yang meliputi penilaian sikap spiritual, sikap sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada materi “Diriku Unik”. Berdasarkan rumusan masalah diatas maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana metode Paikem Gembrot mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik kelas IV SDK Waibalun II pada materi Diriku Unik khususnya dan pelajaran Agama Katolik kelas IV pada umumnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 19 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I mencapai 73 % yang berarti dalam kriteria cukup dan belum ada perubahan sikap spiritual, sikap sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada materi “Diriku Unik”, dan pada siklus II perubahan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dan telah mencapai indikator ketercapaian pembelajaran 100 %. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode Paikem Gembrot pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik melalui materi “Diriku Unik” dapat mengoptimalkan hasil belajar PAK kelas IV SDK Waibalun II semester I Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024
Character Education Management Strategies to Address the Negative Impacts of Social Media Use on Youth
Get PDFThis study aims to explore effective character education management strategies to address the negative impacts of social media use on adolescents. This research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to analyze studies on character education, digital citizenship, and social media, focusing on their impact on adolescents. A qualitative approach was used, synthesizing peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and conference papers published in the last five years from academic databases like Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus. Data collection involved selecting relevant studies based on specific keywords and predetermined criteria. The collected data were then analyzed through several stages: first, screening and classifying the selected literature; second, extracting key variables such as research focus, methodology, and outcomes; and third, performing a narrative synthesis to identify recurring themes, patterns, and gaps in current research. The results showed that integrating character education with digital citizenship education is crucial in equipping adolescents with the skills to interact positively online. Furthermore, the role of educators trained in technology and digital ethics is essential to help adolescents manage the psychological impacts of social media. The biggest challenge faced is the lack of a curriculum that explicitly integrates digital citizenship with character education. A phenomenon-based approach has proven effective in addressing this challenge by providing students with real-life experiences. In conclusion, digital-based character education can improve adolescents' skills in managing social media use more responsibly. This research makes an important contribution to the development of a more relevant educational curriculum in the digital era
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
