    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi. Nilai karakter yang dikaji meliputi disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, kejujuran, dan percaya diri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi pembelajaran, dokumentasi, dan analisis hasil penilaian mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai karakter disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama pada mahasiswa Akuntansi berada pada kategori cukup baik, meskipun masih ditemukan beberapa mahasiswa yang belum konsisten dalam kehadiran dan penyelesaian tugas perkuliahan. Sementara itu, nilai kejujuran dan percaya diri, khususnya dalam penggunaan bahasa Inggris, masih perlu ditingkatkan karena sebagian mahasiswa cenderung pasif dan ragu dalam berkomunikasi. Integrasi nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris diharapkan mampu membentuk sikap profesional dan integritas mahasiswa sebagai bekal dalam dunia akademik dan kerja

    The aim of the study was to prepare special exercises with auxiliary tools to develop the performance of some basic skills for futsal players and to know the effect of special exercises using auxiliary tools in developing the performance of some basic skills for futsal players. The researchers used the experimental method, which is one of the most widely used methods in the sports field because it is based on direct and realistic dealing with different phenomena and is based on observation and experimentation of its types through comparison between the group or between groups. Therefore, the researchers used the single-group design with the pre- and post-tests, which is the most appropriate for this study. The researchers defined the study community as the players of the University of Diyala futsal team, so the sample became (12) A player from a total of (18) players, representing a percentage of the sample (66.66%) of the study population for the year 2023-2024 AD, and after completing the main experiment, the researchers used the statistical package (SPSS) to process the data obtained and the researchers reached the most important conclusions that employing exercises with assistive tools had a positive impact in developing the performance of some basic skills for futsal players (scoring And scrolling) of the study, which was positively reflected on the performance of the student players of the skills under study. The prepared exercises also had an impact on developing the scoring skills. And scrolling, Researchers also recommend the use of tools and aids in developing all basic skills for all age groups

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pilar leadership dalam konsep pendidikan Sekolah Alam pada konteks pendidikan nonformal di PKBM Alam Jingga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis dokumen terhadap publikasi ilmiah yang dihasilkan oleh PKBM Alam Jingga. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengumpulan dokumen, pembacaan mendalam terhadap publikasi yang dipilih, pengkodean tematik yang berkaitan dengan praktik kepemimpinan, serta interpretasi terhadap pola yang muncul dalam dokumen tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kepemimpinan terintegrasi dalam berbagai praktik pembelajaran dan tidak diajarkan sebagai mata pelajaran tersendiri. Enam bentuk implementasi utama yang ditemukan meliputi kemandirian belajar, kepemimpinan sosial melalui kegiatan community service, kepemimpinan kolaboratif, kepemimpinan berbasis nilai, kemampuan perencanaan masa depan, serta penguatan resiliensi siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kepemimpinan di PKBM Alam Jingga mencerminkan pendekatan pendidikan yang holistik dengan mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, sosial, moral, dan spiritual dalam proses pembelajaran

    The Use of English Songs to Improve Students’ Listening Skills at SMPN 2 Abang

    Listening is one of the most essential skills in learning English, especially for students in English Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. However, many students face difficulties in understanding spoken English due to limited exposure to authentic language and a lack of motivation during listening activities. This research aims to investigate the use of English songs as a learning medium to improve students’ listening skills, identify the types of songs that are most effective, and examine students’ responses toward song-based listening activities. This study employed a quantitative descriptive research design and involved 30 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Abang. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered after students participated in listening activities using English songs. The questionnaire focused on students’ experiences, preferences, motivation, and perceptions related to listening practice through songs. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the study show that the majority of students had positive attitudes toward the use of English songs in listening lessons. Most students agreed that English songs helped them improve their understanding of pronunciation, vocabulary, intonation, and overall listening comprehension. Students also reported higher motivation and enjoyment when learning through songs compared to traditional textbook audio materials. In addition, slow-tempo songs with clear lyrics were found to be the most effective, while fast or unclear songs caused some difficulties for students. In conclusion, English songs are an effective and engaging tool for improving students’ listening skills. Therefore, English teachers are encouraged to integrate suitable English songs into listening activities with appropriate guidance to create a more enjoyable and effective learning environment

    The Struggle to Write: Understanding and Overcoming Academic Writing Challenges in Higher Education

    Academic writing is a fundamental competency in higher education; however, many university students, particularly those learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL), continue to experience persistent difficulties in mastering this skill. Despite the growing body of research on academic writing challenges, limited attention has been given to students’ perceptions of institutional and instructional support in Indonesian higher education contexts. This study aims to explore the main challenges faced by undergraduate students in academic writing and to examine how they perceive the support provided by lecturers, peers, and academic resources. Employing a qualitative descriptive research design, data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 30 undergraduate students from the English Language Education Department at UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. The questionnaire addressed linguistic challenges, writing strategies, affective factors, and perceived academic support. The data were analyzed descriptively using SPSS to identify dominant patterns and tendencies. The findings indicate that students commonly struggle with organizing ideas, using appropriate academic vocabulary, managing time effectively, and applying grammar and referencing conventions accurately. While lecturer guidance and peer feedback were generally perceived as supportive, access to institutional writing resources such as writing centers and workshops was considered limited or unclear by many students. These results suggest that academic writing difficulties are multidimensional, involving linguistic, cognitive, affective, and institutional factors. The study highlights the importance of structured writing instruction, continuous formative feedback, and enhanced institutional support systems to improve students’ academic writing competence. The findings contribute to the ongoing discussion on EFL academic writing pedagogy and provide practical implications for lecturers and higher education institutions

    Metode Read Aloud dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bahasa Anak Usia Dini

    This study analyzes the effectiveness of the read-aloud method in enhancing receptive and expressive language skills in early childhood through a qualitative Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Using literature from reputable databases (2010–2025), the study filtered 167 identified articles down to 12 core papers for thematic analysis. Findings indicate that the read-aloud method significantly improves story comprehension, vocabulary expansion, and children's ability to communicate and retell stories. Key success factors include active teacher-child interactions, such as expressive intonation, predictive questioning, and two-way dialogue. Beyond linguistic gains, the method strengthens foundational literacy, increases engagement, and fosters a positive attitude toward books. The study concludes that the read-aloud method is a valid, relevant, and essential strategy for early childhood education (ECE) institutions. Implementing this method routinely and structurally is recommended to optimize language and literacy development in young learners. As a proven pedagogical tool, it bridges the gap between basic communication and advanced literacy readiness

    This research aims to improvethe fine motor skills of early childhood through fun and creative collage activities. Fine motor skills are skills thatinvolve the coordination of small muscles in the hands and fingers, which play an important rolein daily activities such as writing, drawing, and cutting.Collage activities are believed to be an effective means of developinghand-eye coordination and training children's accuracy, patience, and independence.This study used a classroom action research (CAR) approach, whichwas carried out in two cycles with four stages, namely planning,implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 15 children in group Bat Cahaya Qur'an Kindergarten in Pagelaran Subdistrict, consisting of 15 children. Data were collected throughobservation, documentation, and interviews, then analyzed descriptivelyqualitatively to determine the improvement in children's fine motor skills afterbeing given collage activities. The results showed thatcollage activities were able to significantly improve children's fine motor skills. Children became more skilled in using tools such as scissorsand glue, more coordinated in moving their hands and fingers, andproduced neater and more creative work. In addition, this activityalso improved the children's concentration, cooperation, and self-confidence during thelearning process. Thus, collage activities can be used as aneffective and enjoyable learning alternative in developingthe fine motor skills of early childhood in PAUD institutions

    The Effectiveness of Special Exercises in Improving The Optimal Speed of The Approach Phase and Their Effect on The Distance of The Long Jump

    The research aims to identify the effectiveness of special exercises in improving the optimal speed of the approach phase and their effect on the distance of the long jump among long jump athletes. The researcher used the experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design for one experimental group, due to its suitability for the nature of the research. The research sample was intentionally selected from long jump athletes, and their number reached (8) athletes, The researcher used a set of tests to measure the optimal speed of the approach phase, represented in the full approach run test (30 m), the 20 m flying speed test, step frequency in the last 10 m, the length of the last three steps, and the accuracy of rhythmic adjustment of the approach mark, in addition to measuring the digital level of the long jump ,The researcher applied a proposed training program using special exercises that lasted for 8 weeks at a rate of 3 training units per week. The results of the research showed the presence of statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test measurements of the experimental group in the tests of optimal speed of the approach phase and the digital level of the long jump in favor of the post-test measurement, The results also showed the presence of a positive statistically significant correlation between the improvement of the optimal speed of the approach phase and the improvement of the long jump distance. In light of these results, the researcher recommends the necessity of paying attention to the use of special exercises in training long jump athletes due to their positive effect in improving approach speed, developing technical performance, and increasing the digital level in the long jump

    Perkembangan karakter anak usia dini sangat dipengaruhi oleh praktik pengasuhan yang diterapkan dalam lingkungan keluarga sebagai lingkungan pendidikan pertama dan utama bagi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik parenting yang dilakukan orang tua dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter anak usia dini, khususnya pada anak berusia 4–6 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk memperoleh gambaran mendalam mengenai pola pengasuhan yang diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan untuk menghasilkan temuan yang komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik parenting positif, seperti pemberian teladan perilaku baik, komunikasi yang hangat dan terbuka, pembiasaan nilai-nilai moral dalam aktivitas harian, serta penerapan disiplin positif tanpa kekerasan, memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter anak
