No full textBenigna prostat hyperplasia ini dapat dialami oleh sekitar 70% pria di atas usia 60 tahun. Angka ini akan meningkat hingga 90% pada pria berusia di atas 80 tahun. Benigna Hiperplasia Prostat (BPH) menyerang saluran kemih bawah dan biasa terjadi pada laki-laki, penyakit ini merupakan penyakit yang memiliki faktor resiko dua yaitu dapat diubah maupun tidak dapat diubah. Gejala yang terjadi dibedakan menjadi 4 derajat. BPH memiliki pengkajian dan pemeriksaan fisik yang tidak hanya mengenai sistem perkemihan, tetapi terkait juga dengan sistem yang lain. BPH memiliki penatalaksanaan medikamentosa dan operasi. Perawat harus memahami bagaimana pengkajian terhadap penyakit Benigna Hiperplasia Prostat (BPH), dan dilanjutkan dengan observasi yang dilakukan terutama pada saat pasien akan melakukan operasi. Buku ini membahas tentang asuhan keperawatan yang dapat diberikan pada pasien penderita BPH dengan pendekatan SDKI, SLKI dan SIKI. Buku ini juga menjelaskan terkait dengan konsep BPH seperti anatomi, fisiologi klasifikasi, gejala, patofisilogi dan konsep retensi urine yang biasa dialami oleh pasien BPH
Meatal stenosis and lichen sclerosus in children: is it a real risk? A single-centre retrospective observational study
No full textBackground: Early diagnosis, early treatment and long-term follow-up in paediatric patients with Lichen Sclerosus (LS) are mandatory to avoid complications such as urethral meatal stenosis. Methods: All patients older than five years who underwent circumcision from January 2015 to December 2021 at our centre with positive histology for LS were included. Demographic, preoperative, surgical and postoperative data were analysed. Patients were physically evaluated, and they were asked to fill in two quality of life questionnaires and to perform an uroflowmetry. They were stratified into clusters according to physical and histological examination. Urethral dilatations were investigated to assess the correlation between circumcision and incidence of LS-linked complications. Results: Among 99 patients included in the study, 95 were finally evaluated. Median age at diagnosis was seven years (range, five to ten years). Median age at surgery was 10.8 years (6-17). Urethral meatus was grade 0 in 47% of cases, grade 1 in 41% and grade 2 in 12%. A total of 19% of circumcised patients with LS had pathological uroflowmetry: the number of patients with pathological uroflowmetry increased as the grade of meatal stenosis increased (13% grade 0, 15% grade 1 and 33% grade 2). Four (4.7%) patients with diagnosis of meatal stenosis underwent meatal dilatations. Conclusions: By assessing histology of LS it is possible to determine who will develop LS-linked complications such as meatal stenosis. Patients with LS must be followed-up closely and should be treated with corticosteroids for at least for one month to improve their postoperative outcomes

No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Mucinosi follicolare idiopatica acuta benigna: un caso pediatrico e revisione della letteratura.
No full textViene riportato il caso clinico di una bambina di 6 anni che presentava da alcuni mesi una placca infiltrata ed alopecica del sopracciglio sinistro. La clinica e l'istologia hanno consentito di porre una diagnosi di mucinosi follicolare e l'immunoistochimica e l'analisi molecolare hanno confermato la natura benigna della lesione.
E' stata quindi effettuata una revisione della letteratura relativa alla mucinosi follicolare in età pedaitrica
