Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. تنمية مهارة الطلبة ÙÙŠ الإنشاء بالصور المتسلسلة
The material of composing lesson (insyÄ’) was important for fifth grade students at Al-Manar boarding school to study. However, most students were bored and less motivated to participate in the class. The main cause of this problem is due to the traditional methods used by teachers. They did not use various medias in instructional process, besides there is no handbook. Moreover, the problem faced by the teacher in this teaching learning process was the students’ motivation. They feel bored with traditional methods used by teachers, and some students do not understand the meaning of words taught. It caused by their lackness in mastering vocabularies and Arabic grammar skills (qawÄ’id). Based on the problem above, this research implements picture series to develop students’ abilities in instructional process of composing lesson. The method used in this study was experimental study. The result of the study shows that the development of students’ abilities in Arabic composition by using picture series was very effective. It also has positive impact in encouraging them to enjoy the teaching and learning process.

KEBAHAGIAAN DAN PERMASALAHAN DI USIA REMAJA (PENGGUNAAN INFORMASI DALAM PELAYANAN BIMBINGAN INDIVIDUAL)
Tulisan ini bermaksud untuk memberikan informasi yang bersifat umum tentang penggunaan informasi dalam pelayanan bimbingan secara individual kepada remaja. Berdasarkan tahap perkembangannya, usia remaja disebut dalam masa pancaroba/ transisi/peralihan karena sedang mengalami perkembangan fisiologis (perubahan fisik primer maupun perubahan fisik sekunder), perkembangan emosi (psikis atau mental yang mudah berubah-ubah/emosi tidak stabil) dan perkembangan sosial (tuntutan atau beban sosial) yang akan menimbulkan ketakutan, kecemasan bahkan rasa tidak percaya diri. Sehingga usia remaja rawan terhadap munculnya berbagai permasalahan (baik permasalahan dengan: diri sendiri/kurang puas atas apa yang di miliki, kelompok bermain atau peer group/selisih pendapat, orang tua/bersikap memberontak terhadap aturan- aturan, lingkungan masyarakat/tidak mau terlibat dalam aktivitas masyarakat, sekolah/melanggar tata tertib sekolah, norma agama/ tidak melaksanakan perintah agama, hukum/pelanggaran hukun dalam bentuk tindakan kriminal dan lain-lain). Dengan adanya informasi gambaran tentang kebahagiaan dan permasalahan di usia remaja, diharapkan dapat digunakan panduan para remaja untuk menciptakan kebahagiaannya sendiri ataupun berada dalam permasalahan remaja yang tak berujung. Kebahagiaan adalah sebuah pilihan yang perlu diperjuangkan agar mencapai kedewasaan yang matang dan permasalahan adalah keadaan yang harus diupayakan solusinya yang efektif agar menjadi dewasa yang tangguh dan bertanggung jawab.

HAPPINESS AND PROBLEMS IN YOUNG AGE. This paper is intended to provide general information about the use of information in individual counseling services to teenagers. Based on the stage of its development, teenager is called the transition period / transition / transition Facing physiological development (physical changes in both primary and physical changes secondary), emotional development (psychic or mental volatile / emotionally unstable) and social development (demand or social burden) which will lead to fear, anxiety and even insecurity. So that the teenage years are vulnerable to the emergence of various problems (both problems with: self / less satisfied with what have, playgroup or peer group / disagreement, parents / rebellious attitude against the rules, community / not involved in community activities, school / in violation of school rules, the norms of religion/not carried out the orders of religion, law / hukun violations in the form of criminal acts and others). With the information picture of happiness and problems in their teens, are expected to be used guide the youth to create their own happiness, or are in the teenager problems are endless. Happiness is a choice that needs to be fought in order to reach maturity mature and problems is the state that should be pursued in order to be an effective solution formidable mature and responsible.

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

This study examines research behavior of candidate graduates of the Information Technology Masters Program for the Library (MTIP), Department of Computer Science, Bogor Agricultural University which deals with scientific communication among researchers. This study aims to determine the citation pattern of the scientific work of S2 MTIP IPB students. The thesis of MTIP IPB students examined from 2008 to 2018 totaled 66 theses of MTIP IPB students. Analysis was carried out on: the amount of literature, language, types of documents, and obsolescence of the cited literature. This study uses a descriptive analytical method with a quantitative approach through the method of taking documentation and observation data. Analysis of descriptive statistical data using percentages, mode and median. The data analyzed is the bibliography in each thesis of prospective graduates of MTIP. The number of articles cited for 10 years is 2 039 titles with an average of each citation thesis as much as 31 literature. The most cited literary language is English literature with a ratio of 53% in English and 47% in Indonesian. The most cited types of literature are books, namely 37.49%, journal articles at 26.68%, internet articles (web) at 18.92%, gray literature as much as 2.41%, proceedings as much as 2.21% and types other literature as much as 12.29. Citation of literature which has a time span of 0-10 years is 1445 (70.87%). The author with the most cited number is Sulistyo-Basuki which is 38 citations. The life cycle of the cited literature is 7 (seven) years
