An Iconographic Study of Sultan Mohammad Naqash's Painting Called "Masti Lahouti - Nasuti "
The painting called “Lahouti (divine) and Nassotti (worldly) Intoxication”, has been drawn on a page in Divan Hafez by Sam Mirza, whose painter was Sultan Mohammad Naqash, a Tabriz Safavid School painter, who is regarded as one of the shining examples of pictorial icons for the creation of a mystical, symbolic, and theatrical atmosphere as well as visual attractions. The present study is a theoretical one and has been conducted through a descriptive-analytical method, analyzing the iconography used in the above-mentioned painting by collecting images and information using the library method. By utilizing a historical and semantic approach to Hafiz's poetry as well as the artistic style of Sultan Mohammad, this study aims at decrypting the mystical and narrative concepts in this painting. The main research question raised here is: "What are the philosophical, mystical, lyrical and mythological concepts behind the relationship between icons and the visual atmosphere dominating the image?" Review of literature was conducted on Hafez's life as well as semantics and stylistics used in his odes as well as the history of the Turkmen and Tabriz Safavid Painting Schools and the style of Sultan Mohammad Naqash, recorded in articles and books by Iranian and foreign authors. The above-mentioned resources were studied, and it was concluded that Sultan Mohammad’s exaggerated, and humorous style matches Hafiz's quick-witted outlook and it is appropriate to divide the painting into three distinctive parts from top to bottom and consider the appropriate icons for each of the sections through a mystical and separating perspective as Nassott, Malakut and Lahout. Kajian Ikonografi Lukisan Sultan Muhammad Naqash Berjudul "Masti Lahouti - Nasuti" Abstrak Lukisan yang berjudul “Lahouti (divine) and Nassotti (worldly) Intoxication”, digambar pada sebuah halaman di Divan Hafez oleh Sam Mirza, di mana pelukisnya adalah Sultan Mohammad Naqash, seorang pelukis Sekolah Tabriz Safawi, yang dianggap sebagai salah satu contoh cemerlang ikon bergambar untuk penciptaan suasana mistis, simbolis dan teatrikal serta atraksi visual. Penelitian ini bersifat teoretis dan dilakukan melalui metode deskriptif-analitik, menganalisis ikonografi yang digunakan dalam lukisan tersebut dengan mengumpulkan gambar dan informasi menggunakan metode kepustakaan. Dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan historis dan semantik pada puisi-puisi Hafez serta gaya artistik Sultan Mohammad, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsi konsep mistik dan naratif pada lukisan. Pertanyaan penelitian utama yang diangkat yaitu: "Apa konsep filosofis, mistis, liris, dan mitologis dibalik hubungan antara ikon dan suasana visual yang mendominasi gambar?" Tinjauan literatur dilakukan pada kehidupan Hafez serta semantik dan gaya yang digunakan dalam syairnya serta sejarah Sekolah Lukisan Safawi Turkmenistan dan Tabriz dan gaya Sultan Mohammad Naqash, yang dicatat dalam artikel dan buku oleh penulis Iran dan asing. Melalui sumber yang didapat maka disimpulkan bahwa gaya Sultan Mohammad yang berlebihan dan humoris cocok dengan pandangan Hafez yang cerdas dan pantas untuk membagi lukisan menjadi tiga bagian yang berbeda dari atas ke bawah dan mempertimbangkan ikon yang sesuai untuk masing-masing bagian melalui perspektif mistis dan terpisah sebagai Nassott, Malakut dan Lahout

This thesis is an attempt to present Nasafi's main teachings. After introducing his life, times and works, the second chapter focuses upon ontology. This is the spine of
Nasafi's treatises and it is based upon the Sufi interpretation of God's incomparability and similarity (tanzih wa tashbih) and His infinite self-disclosure which occurs within a form processed by the imagination. The second chapter investigates the different forms
of knowledge available to Sufis, which includes sense perception, reason and mystical knowledge. Nasafi's presentation depicts all three in a hierarchical structure with Sufi knowledge at the pinnacle. Having discussed the theoretical nature of Sufism, chapter four deals with the practical element of Sufism and how it is able to contribute to felicity in this life. Having followed the Sufi path, it is possible that a wayfarer may experience
unity with God. This is examined in chapter five, and Nasafi's description is compared with that of other Sufis in an attempt to show his "orthodox" position within Sufism. It is also argued that modern models of mystical experience do not fit Nasafi's depiction of tashbih-tanzih, and that one also needs to re-think the idea of perennial philosophy. Finally, the perfection of man is considered through examining the relationship between Prophecy and Friendship of God. Sufis interpreted Friendship as the interior element of Prophecy and were able to offer new insights to Islamic doctrine
Terapi shalat bahagia: pemikiran dan pengamalan shalat bahagia menurut Mohammad Ali Aziz
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research). Dalam skripsi ini ada dua permasalahan yang dibahas, 1) Bagaimana shalat bahagia menurut Mohammad Ali Aziz ?, 2) Bagaimana pengamalan shalat bahagia menurut Mohammad Ali Aziz sebagai terapi ?. Dalam menjawab pertanyaan diatas, penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis data. Metode analisis data yakni pola yang berusaha menjelaskan suatu obyek secara apa adanya. Penggunaan metode ini dimaksudkan untuk memperoleh penjelasan secara lengkap terapi shalat bahagia beserta cara-cara pengamalannya. Satu kajian tentang keberkesanan pusat sumber terhadap prestasi pelajar di Sekolah Menengah Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Seksyen 2 Shah Alam Selangor Darul Ehsan / Fauziana Mohammad
Kajian ini dijalankan adalah bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang keberkesanan pusat sumber sekolah terhadap prestasi pelajar di Sek Men. Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. Sebanyak 180 borang soal selidik telah diedarkan iaitu 150 borang soal selidik untuk pelajar dan 30 borang soal selidik untuk guru. Namun hanya 162 boring soal selidik sahaja yang diproses dan dianalisis iaitu 134 borang dari pelajar dan 28 borang dari guru. Data yang diperolehi telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan kaedah
manual untuk mendapatkan peratusan dan bilangan jawapan dari responden bagi setiap soalan. Hasil daripada kajian yang dijalankan menunjukkan pusat sumber tidak berkesan sepenuhnya dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik pelajar tetapi koleksi bahan/ rujukan yang terdapat di PSS masil lagi mampu membantu dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Sungguhpun tidak berkesan sepenuhnya tetapi koleksi bahan/ rujukan yang
terdapat di PSS juga dapat membantu pengguna meluaskan pengetahuan, meningkatkan budaya pemikiran dan meningkatkan kemahiran mereka dalam mencari dan mengumpul maklumat
HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN PASCA STROKE NONHEMORAGIK DI RSUD SULTAN SYARIEF MOHAMMAD ALQADRIE
Latar Belakang: Stroke membuat kualitas hidup pasien menurun karena stroke tidak hanya mempengaruhi fisik tetapi kognitif, bahasa, emosi dan juga fungsi sosial. Dukungan keluarga diperkirakan akan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien pasca stroke nonhemoragik di RSUD Sultan Syarif Mohammad Al Qadri. Metode: Desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi dengan rancangan retrospective pada 65 responden menggunakan teknik simple purposive sampling di poli saraf instalasi jalan di RSUD Sultan Syarif Mohammad Al Qadri. Menggunakan kuesioner dukungan keluarga dan SS-QOL (Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scale). Analisa data menggunakan uji pearson. Hasil: Uji pearson didapatkan nilai p value = 0,001 (p < 0,05) artinya terdapat hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien pasca stroke nonhemoragik di RSUD Sultan Syarif Mohammad Al Qadri. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien pasca stroke nonhemoragik di RSUD Sultan Syarif Mohammad Al Qadri. Grammatical errors in Saudi students' writing : a minimalist approach / Mohammad Abdul Aziz Omar Al-Khatib
This empirical study is an analysis of EFL writing by third year university students. There
are three aims of the current work; (1) to find out the kinds of grammatical errors Saudi
students make in their writings; (2) to explicate ungrammaticality of the students' errors
employing the Minimalist Program; (3) to evaluate the contributing factors that cause
grammatical errors. Data was derived from compositions written by a stratified random
sample of twenty junior students majoring in English at The Faculty of Arts and
Humanities in King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Actually, these
compositions are an assignment given by their lecturer as a kind of critical writing about
the play Trifles by Glaspell. The study is qualitative in nature as it primarily focuses on
analyzing the types of grammatical errors no matter how frequent they occur. Findings
revealed that most of the grammatical errors are in sentence structure, prepositions, subjectverb agreement and wrong use of words. The results demonstrated that Saudi juniors do not
completely fulfill the requirement for lexical information of an English sentence in the
sense they still do not fully understand how many arguments a verb must have, what
features a verb may have in terms of transitivity, intransitivity or even what kind of phrase
that a verb subcategorizes for. With regard to factors causing ungrammaticality, intralanguage errors were the majority of the grammatical errors in the writings whereas
mother-tongue interference has no great influence on the students' writing. Saudi EFL
students seem to over-generalize English rules to other positions in sentence structure.
Also, they are not aware, sometimes, of the exceptions or restrictions of a rule which results
in ill-formed structure. Findings of the study and its pedagogical implications are discussed
in detail in chapter five
