Entrepreneur motivation to start business / Amirul Hakim Mohamad and Nur Fadhila Aziz
Entrepreneurship is one of the activities that Johor government encourages people to create business. There are many successful entrepreneurs in Johor brings a very proud products and services. The purpose of this research also is to identify the relationship between entrepreneur motivation to start business and the independent factors such as internal motivation, government support, capabilities, and financial security. Besides that it also to identify which factors is the most significant factor for entrepreneur motivation to start business towards the internal motivation, government support, capabilities and financial security. Hence, this research used primary and secondary data in collection the data as data method. As for the interpretation data, the researcher used correlation coefficient for testing hypothesis, while regression analysis for testing the most significant variables in this research. Based on the researcher findings, the factor of internal motivation, government support and capabilities overall have positive correlation with the entrepreneur motivation to start business while the financial security shows the negative relationship with entrepreneur motivation to start business. In addition, only the government support and capabilities are not at the level of significant where as the internal motivation and financial securities are in significant. Thus, the most significant variable is financial security shows the most factors influencing entrepreneur motivation to start business
SELF DISCLOSURE SANTRI MELALUI INSTAGRAM STORY (STUDI KASUS SANTRI PESANTREN BAITUL HIKMAH KRAPYAK YOGYAKARTA)
The Era of Revolution 5.0 had a huge impact, especially in the world of technology
and communication, technological sophistication has made social media more widely
used by people from various backgrounds, including Santri. The media that is often used
by Baitul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School students is Instagram, this is because
Instagram has multiple features, one of which is Instagram stories. In using social media
Instagram stories, Santri can express themselves, share general information and feelings
and express their identity or what is called Self Disclosure. Based on this, the author
focuses on discussing 'What is the form of self-disclosure of students through Instagram
stories? And what are the functions of self-disclosure of students through Instagram
stories? In order to answer this problem the authors use descriptive qualitative research
methods and the Johari Window theory.
The author found that the self-disclosure carried out by students through
Instagram stories was open or expressive which was categorized in the Johari Openself
Area window concept and was carried out closed or implied which entered the Johari
Hiddenself Area window concept. While the dominant self-disclosure function is the
Expression function and the Relationship Development function, and some perform the
functions of Self Clarification, Self Validation, and Social Control
Educational software for stress analysis of idealized thin walled open sections
An educational software which can aid students in stress analysis of idealized thin-walled
open sections has been developed. The software enables students to select different cross-sections
which may be subjected to bending, shear or torsional loads and evaluate the stresses on it. Results
obtained through this software have been validated. The software has been developed using
MATLAB with graphical user interface (GUI). The software is expected to be a useful tool for
effective teaching learning process of courses on thin-walled structures and aircraft structures
EMPOWERING TPS 3R THROUGH PROCESSING ORGANIC AND INORGANIC WASTE INTO ECONOMIC VALUE PRODUCTS
Abstrak: TPS 3R mengubah sampah organik dan anorganik menjadi sumber daya yang berharga dan mempromosikan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Program Pemberdayaan Kemitraan Masyarakat TPS 3R Mandiri Kalampangan Berkah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mitra dalam mengolah sampah, keterampilan produksi produk kerajinan tangan dari bahan daur ulang, dan pemasaran produk. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi ceramah, diskusi dan pelatihan. Mitra kegiatan adalah 30 orang pengurus TPS 3R Mandiri Kalampangan Berkah. Sistem evaluasi menggunakan observasi dan daftar pertanyaan. Hasil dari program ini mencakup peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah sampah dan memproduksi produk daur ulang. Sebelum program, mitra mengolah sampah organic sebesar 53.33% dan anorganik sebesar 13.33%. Materi pengolahan sampah anorganik juga merupakan hal yang baru bagi mitra (86.67%) dan dirasa mudah untuk dilakukan (100%). Mitra juga termotivasi untuk mempraktekkan pengelolaan sampah anorganik menjadi produk daur ulang (100%). Produk daur ulang yang dihasilkan berupa tas dari koran bekas, bunga dari botol plastic bekas, pigura dari kardus bekas, dan kertas daur ulang. Hasil pemberdayaan juga menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan mitra menggunakan e-commerce sebagai sarana penjualan produk daur ulang (60%). Secara keseluruhan, program ini diharapkan dapat memberdayakan masyarakat, meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi, dan menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih bersih dan sehat.Abstract: TPS 3R is a process that converts organic and inorganic waste into valuable resources, thereby promoting sustainable development. The TPS 3R Mandiri Kalampangan Berkah Community Partnership Empowerment Program aims to increase the capacity of partners to process waste, develop production skills for handicraft products derived from recycled materials, and promote these products on the market. The methods used included socializations, discussions, and training. The partners were 30 administrators of TPS 3R Mandiri Kalampangan Berkah. The evaluation system used observation and a list of questions. The results of this program include an increase in the ability and skills of the community in processing waste and producing recycled products. Before the program, partners processed organic waste at a rate of 53.33% and inorganic by 13.33%. The inorganic waste processing material was also new to the partners (86.67%) and easy to do (100%). Partners were also motivated to practice inorganic waste management into recycled products (100%). The recycled products produced are bags from used newspapers, flowers from used plastic bottles, frames from used cardboard, and recycled paper. Additionally, the empowerment results also showed an increase in partners’ knowledge of using e-commerce as a means of selling recycled products (60%). Furthermore, this program is expected to empower the community, improve economic welfare, and create a cleaner and healthier environment
PERMBERDAYAAN KELOMPOK WANITA TANI MELALUI PEMBUATAN ECO ENZYME UNTUK KEMANDIRIAN EKONOMI
Abstrak: Kelurahan Kalampangan sebagai sentra pertanian di Kota Palangka Raya memiliki permasalahan dalam pemanfaatan limbah pasca panen sayur dan buah yang tidak layak jual. Limbah tersebut dibiarkan menumpuk tanpa diolah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat pembuatan eco enzyme menggunakan bahan dasar sampah organik limbah pasca panen dari Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) kelurahan Kalampangan Kota Palangka Raya. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan KTW dalam pembuatan eco enzyme. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2023 dengan melibatkan oleh 17 orang peserta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyuluhan dan pelatihan berupa penyampaian materi tentang eco enzyme, cara pembuatan dan manfaat serta aplikasi hasil eco enzyme ke lapangan sebagai pupuk organik, diskusi, praktik dan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan berdasarkan hasil analisis 8 pertanyaan kuesioner pra dan pasca pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam pembuatan eco enzyme (dari 5,88% menjadi 100%). Seluruh peserta (100%) juga tertarik membuat di rumah dan mengaplikasikan hasil eco enzyme ke lingkungan sekitar.Abstract: Kalampangan village as an agricultural center in Palangka Raya City has a problem in utilizing vegetables and fruits post-harvest waste that is not worth to selling. The post-harvest waste is left to accumulate without being processed. To overcome this problem, a community services activity was carried out to produce eco enzyme using the basic ingredients of post-harvest waste from the Kalampangan Village Women Farmers Group (KWT) of Palangka Raya City. This community service aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of KTW in produce eco enzyme. This activity was carried out in September 2023 involving 17 participants. The method used in counseling and training is in the form of delivering material about eco enzyme, how to make and the benefits and application of eco enzyme results to the field as organic fertilizer, discussion, practice and evaluation of the implementation of activities based on the results of the analysis of 8 pre and post training questionnaires. The results of this community services activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge, understanding and skills in making eco enzyme (from 5.88% to 100%). All participants (100%) were also interested in making at home and applying the results of eco enzyme to the surrounding environment.
Ihdad for Career Women in the Perspective of Maslahah mursalah (Study of the Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council Number 11 of 1981)
**English**There are some restrictions for a woman who is in iddah, these restrictions are known as ihdad. Ihdad can be in the form of: not allowed to adorn and leave the house. In the Indonesian context, the provisions of ihdad are regulated in MUI Fatwa No.11 of 1981 concerning the iddah of death, which basically states that, firstly, whether or not it is permissible for a woman who is in iddah to leave the house is a matter of khilafiyyah, secondly, the opinion of the majority of scholars is that it is not permissible for a woman in iddah to leave the house at night, even if it is to perform the pilgrimage. In this case, the fatwa needs to be reviewed, especially its relevance for career women who are experiencing the iddah period. Because according to the author, the provisions in the fatwa have been considered long enough and are not in accordance with the increasingly advanced situation as it is now. And the method of legal istinbath Maslahah mursalah in this study is used as a review tool in the Fatwa, whether the fatwa is in accordance with the provisions set forth in Maslahah mursalah.  The result of this research is that the concept of ihdad described by the decree of Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council No.11 of 1981 is by not being allowed to leave the house during the day and night, even though it is to perform the pilgrimage. However, if there is an urgent need then it is allowed to leave the house. Dalam konteks Indonesia, ketentuan-ketentuan ihdad tersebut diatur di dalam Fatwa MUI No.11 Tahun 1981 tentang iddah wafat yang mana secara pokoknya fatwa tersebut menegaskan bahwa, pertama, boleh atau tidaknya keluar rumah bagi wanita yang sedang menjalankan iddah adalah masalah khilafiyyah, kedua, memilih pendapat jumhur ulama yaitu tidak bolehnya wanita dalam masa iddah untuk keluar rumah di malam hari, sekalipun untuk melaksanakan ibadah haji. Dalam hal ini Fatwa tersebut dirasa perlu untuk dikaji ulang, terutama relevansinya bagi wanita karir yang sedang mengalami masa iddah. Karena menurut penulis ketetapan dalam fatwa tersebut sudah dirasa cukup lama dan kurang sesuai dengan keadaan yang semakin maju seperti sekarang. Dan metode istinbath hukum Maslahah mursalah dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk alat peninjau dalam Fatwa tersebut, apakah fatwa tersebut sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan-ketentuan yang ditetapkan dalam maslahah mursalah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah konsep ihdad yang dipaparkan oleh ketetapan Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia No.11 Tahun 1981 adalah dengan tidak bolehnya keluar rumah pada siang hari dan malam hari, meskipun untuk melaksanakan ibadah haji. Namun apabila ada kebutuhan yang mendesak maka diperbolehkan untuk keluar rumah. Dengan pisau analisis maslahah mursalah maka dengan ini Fatwa MUI tentang iddah wafat yang diperuntukan untuk ihdadnya wanita karir sudah sesuai dengan maslahah mursalah, karena fatwa tersebut sudah memenuhi kriteria atau syarat yang di paparkan oleh maslahah mursalah
Nano-chitosan Spray as a Preservative and Food Security of Fishery Products in The Middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the fisheries sector, a decline in exports and fishermen's income caused by the disconnection of the marketing chain due to lockdown implementation in several export destination countries. Fish is a source of protein and as perishable goods, it experiences quality damage due to spoilage, commonly caused by hampered distribution of catches. Natural preservatives are needed to preserve catch so it won't get spoiled and can be accepted by consumers in suitable conditions for consumption. This study aims to evaluate the particle size of nano-chitosan and determine the effectiveness of nano-chitosan spray with different concentrations as a natural preservative in caught fish. This research method begins with making chitosan through 3 stages: demineralization, deproteination, and deacetylation. Chitosan was made into nano-chitosan with various concentrations of 3:1, 4:1, and 5:1 using ionic gelation. Nano-chitosan underwent several tests, including PSA, antibacterial activity by disc diffusion, organoleptic, and the effectiveness of preservatives. Antibacterial activity of nano-chitosan was able to inhibit Bacillus subtilis at three different concentrations, the potential to inhibit Escherichia coli was optimal at 5:1 treatment. The effectiveness of nano-chitosan preservative bacteria inhibition at three different concentrations proved to be sufficient to be used to extend shelf life and ensure the safety and quality of fishery products. The best concentration of nano-chitosan was 3:1 treatment. Nano-chitosan spray from crab shell waste has good antibacterial activity and preservative effectiveness. It could serve as an antibacterial agent and natural preservative for fishery products during the COVID-19 pandemic
LAPORAN INDIVIDU PRAKTIK LAPANGAN TERBIMBING (PLT)
Magang III terintegrasi dengan mata kuliah Praktik Lapangan Terbimbing
(PLT) mempunyai kegiatan yang terkait dengan pembelajaran maupun kegiatan yang
mendukung berlangsungnya pembelajaran. Mata kuliah PLT diharapkan dapat
memberikan pengalaman belajar bagi mahasiswa, terutama dalam hal pengalaman
mengajar, memperluas wawasan, pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi yang
diperlukan dalam bidangnya, peningkatan keterampilan, kemandirian, tanggung
jawab, dan kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah.
Secara umum, pelaksanaan PLT meliputi empat tahapan yaitu tahap
persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan. Tahapan pelaksanaan PLT
meliputi tahap pembekalan, penerjunan, dan praktik mengajar. Pelaksanaan program
PLT dimulai dari tanggal 15 September 2017 sampai dengan 15 November 2017
yang diisi dengan observasi kelas dan lembaga, konsultasi, pembuatan Rencana
Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, pembuatan materi ajar dan media pembelajaran, praktik
mengajar, dan evaluasi. Dalam praktik mengajar, kelas yang diampu adalah kelas X
Teknik Pemesinan 1 dan X Teknik Pemesinan 2. Mata pelajaran yang diampu adalah
teknologi mekanik dan praktik kerja bangku.
Penyelenggaraan PLT untuk mendukung pengembangan kompetensi
mahasiswa sebagai calon guru atau tenaga pendidik. Melalui program ini, praktikan
diharapkan memiliki keterampilan dalam mengelola kelas sehingga kegiatan
pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan menghasilkan lulusan yang
berkompeten. Pelaksanaan PLT di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul ini juga
diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu fungsi kehumasan mahasiswa sehingga sekolah
dapat menjadi mitra Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta untuk melaksanakan PLT tahun berikutnya
