Passivhaus birgaitze proiektua eta aurretik egindako Arizuko (Nafarroa) San Pedro kalea 3an kokatutako etxebizitza unifamiliarraren birgaitze proiektuarekin konparaketa
Passivhaus, planos.Etxebizitzaren eraikuntza, itxituren isolamendu eta arotzerien eskakizunak baxuak izan diren garaian burutua izan denez, gaur egun bere portaera termikoa eskasa eta ondorioz energia erabilera altua izatea dakar.
Proiektuaren oinarrizko helburua passivhaus-ean zentraturiko erreforma burutzea da, gaur egungo etxebizitza batek duen konfort maila eta energia aurrezpen araudiarekin bat datozen eskakizunak betez.
Beste aldetik, jatorrizko berokuntza, ur-bero eta elektrizitate instalazioak, efizientzia energetiko altuagoa daukaten, beste batzuengandik ordezkatuko dira.
Erreforma hau, erabilera baxuko kanpoaldeko eremuak eransteko eta promotoreen beharrezko programan zentraturik, distribuzioa berregokitzeko erabiliko da

The Time of Montage. A lecture in the form of a dialogue
In this lecture-conversation, Isabel de Naverán and Leire Vergara offer an array of readings, life experiences and descriptions of films in order to address the concept of montage as applied to contemporary choreography and curatorial work.Taking the description of several scenes as a point of departure, the authors propose an understanding of montage (both in exhibits and in choreography) based on a specific temporality in which peripheral elements and everyday life lend intention and meaning to the work. In this partially scripted conversation the authors exchange their perspectives on the white cube and the black box, and question some of the dynamics of those two mechanisms. The Time of Montage has been staged on three occasions. The first was in the Teatro Pradillo in Madrid, in the context of Laboratorio 987 (2013) organized by Chus Domínguez, Nilo Gallego and Silvia Zayas and the cycle of exhibits Form and Vouloir-dire curated by Leire Vergara in 2012 at the MUSAC (Museum of Contemporary Art of Castille and Leon), the second was in the Laboratorio 987 at MUSAC within the same initiative, and the third time in Sukaldea-Tabakalera in San Sebastián (2014) as part of the program Paracinema curated by Esperanza Collado. Each staging involved some changes to the text, the props and the dialogue conducted afterwards.RE-VISIONES presents a new version of the lecture, including the transcription and translation into English of the first two points proposed by each author, and a video recording of the lecture as staged at the Teatro Pradillo
Psychosocial adjustment to illness scale in family caregivers of patients with Parkinson’s Disease: Spanish validation study
Psychosocial adjustment to a complex and disabling long‐term condition like Parkinson´s disease is a complex, dynamic, cyclical and interactive process. Family caregivers, face multiple challenges that require a significant effort in terms of psychosocial adjustment, which must be considered by healthcare professionals in order to provide a holistic care. The patients’ self‐report version of the Psychosocial Adjustment to Illness Scale (PAIS‐SR), which has been validated in Spain for use in Parkinson's disease, is designed to evaluate the psychosocial adjustment of patients. Our purpose was to validate the Spanish PAIS‐SR version for caregivers of patients with Parkinson's disease. An open, national cross‐sectional study with one point‐in‐time evaluation and retest was carried out in 450 family caregivers of patients with Parkinson's disease. Data were collected in Spain from April 2016 to September 2017. The psychometric analysis performed showed that the Spanish version of the PAIS‐SR for caregivers presents adequate indicators of reliability, internal and external validity, and is structured according to the seven‐domain model proposed by the author of the instrument
¿Es la inversión pública en educación una política redistributiva?: Un análisis de la composición del gasto por nivel de enseñanza
In this article, we examine the redistributive nature of public educational spending through a cross-country analysis from 1960 to 1996. Existing studies on the determinants of the extent of public funding of education tend to give for granted its progressive nature. We question this view and, assuming that the redistributive nature of public education is conditional on how expenditure is allocated between the different levels of schooling, we provide evidence on the role of the ideological nature of the party in government and of the economic position of the median voter on the configuration of this policy
Sustainable buisinesses practices in supply chains: Experiences from Swedish companies
Businesses play a vital role in building a more sustainable society by practicing and promoting more socially and environmentally responsible practices along supply chains. The social and environmental conduct of Western companies in their respective countries is usually rather strong due to the existing strong legislation on human rights, working conditions, freedom of trade unions, etc. In developing countries however the situation is quite different. There is often no strong local legislation that promotes high environmental and social standards at work place or it is not implemented efficiently. Western companies, in their role as buyers, can become a driver for initiating and strengthening the work on sustainability issues. However, assuming the role of change facilitator is associated with many challenges and companies often need help with defining strategies and specific steps for improving sustainability of their supply chain. In this study we explore challenges faced by companies working with sustainability issues in the supply chain, based on studies of the practices of Swedish companies
Tree layout methodology for shading pedestrian zones: Thermal comfort study in Bilbao (Northern Iberian Peninsula)
Publisher Copyright: © 2021 Elsevier LtdThe need to reduce heat-related thermal stress calls for a reassessment of shading in outdoor urban spaces with the aim of achieving more habitable and sustainable cities. In this research, a methodology based on mathematical formulas is presented and applied to determine the most appropriate geometric properties and position of the trees to be planted in an urban canyon, based on its E-W solar orientation and the height of the buildings. The methodology relies on shading the largest possible surface area of the pedestrian zones of a canyon through the appropriate autochthonous tree species, but it also requires a thermal-comfort evaluation of tree transmissivity. The case study is validated in Bilbao, where a combination of measurement and modelling techniques (Solweig model) are used to verify suitable guidelines for urban design. The results will be of interest to architects and city planners for decision-making when integrating trees, so that urban thoroughfare development can improve thermal comfort in actual or new canyons. The methodology could be applied to other climatic regions, although some of the parameters used both for the evaluation of the heat-related critical moments and in the formulas should be adapted. The authors wish to express their gratitude for funding from UPV/EHU (contract PPGA20/26 ), SHELTER EU project ( GA 821282 ), and the research groups : IT1314-19 ( Basque Government ) and GIU19/029 ( UPV/EHU ).Peer reviewe
