Perlindungan Pelaku Usaha Atas Tindakan Hit and Run Dalam Sistem Pre-order (po) Oleh Konsumen Pada Mini Konveksi Sherly Di Pekanbaru
In Civil Law, the rules discussed are about the relationship between legal subjects. Civil Law discusses the rights and obligations of each individual in a contract or agreement. In a Pre-Order agreement, the principles inherent in this legal act are the fundamental principles in an agreement consisting of at least 4 principles for making an agreement, namely the principle of consensualism, the principle of freedom of contract, the principle of binding as a law, and the principle of personality. In the context of this study, the author analyzed the Pre-order agreement between the Mini Konveksi Sherly business actor and the consumer with the initials AR. In the implementation of the Pre-order agreement between the business actor and the consumer, it was only done through the WhatsApp chat room and verbally without using a draft agreement. The problem that occurred in the Pre-order agreement was that the consumer ordered a collective association's clothes from the producer and there was a Hit and Run act where the consumer did not come back to pick up the goods that had been ordered and the settlement money was not paid according to the payment date in the previous agreement. The main problem of this study is How is the Legal Protection for Business Actors for Hit and Run Actions in the Pre-Order (PO) System by Consumers at Mini Konveksi Sherly in Pekanbaru and What are the Barriers to Business Actors' Protection in the Pre-Order System at Mini Konveksi Sherly in Pekanbaru. The research method used in this study is Empirical Research. This empirical method is accurate and easy to collect data, and aims to collect information and understand all ongoing activities as research objects. The nature of the research used is Descriptive Analytical, because it only sees not analyzes and only finds the problem. Descriptive research aims to solve existing problem solutions based on data. From the research results, the factors that hinder legal protection for business actors are because agreements are often made via short messages that are easily lost or deleted, consumers use fake identities so that they are difficult to track, the legal process can take a long time and require quite a lot of money, existing laws tend to be general and do not specifically regulate pre-order transactions, the cost of taking legal action is often an obstacle for business actors, especially for small businesses. Several relevant articles in the Civil Code in protecting the rights of business actors in hit and run cases in the Pre-Order (PO) system include Article 1338 of the Civil Code, Article 1243 of the Civil Code, Article 1266 of the Civil Code. Before taking the litigation route, there are non-litigation solutions, namely Mediation, Conciliation and Arbitration

The Implementation of Giving Indirect Corrective Feedback to Improve Students’ Writing Ability of the Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 01 Purwosari
ABSTRACT Rosalia, Ariska. 2016. The Implementation of Giving Indirect Corrective Feedback to Improve Students’ Writing Ability of the Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 01 Purwosari. Undergraduate Thesis. English Department, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang. Advisors: (1) Prof. Ali Saukah, M.A., Ph.D. (II) Dr. Mirjam Anugerahwati, M.A.Key Words: writing ability, indirect corrective feedback, recount textThis study was intended to improve the students’ writing ability by implementing indirect corrective feedback in the process of writing to get the better writing product. This study was CAR (Classroom Action Research) which consists of four steps; planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting the action. The subjects were the tenth graders of language program of SMAN 01 Purwosari at the second semester of 2015/ 2016 academic year. There were 31 students in the class. This study only focused on indirect corrective feedback using error code on students’ writing works (coded error feedback). This study used five kinds of instruments to collect the data: observation sheets, field notes, questionnaires, interview guidelines, and the students’ writing compositions. The study was considered successful if 75% students obtain 75 or above and also 75% students show their positive opinions about the strategy. The research was conducted in one cycle which consisted of six meetings. There were two observers: the English teacher and one English department student of State University of Malang. In this study, indirect corrective feedback was not only from the researcher, but also from the students (peer feedback). The strategy was carried out in every meeting after every writing activity. The peer feedback was done twice at the end of writing process in the third and last meeting since the students were asked to write a recount text individually two times during the study. After the students did peer feedback, the researcher gave indirect feedback to the students’ drafts. After that, the students were asked to revise it as their writing products. The students’ writing composition was scored using a scoring rubric adapted from Brown (2007) and had been validated by the validator. The findings showed that the students’ scores at the end of the meeting improved well when it compared to their scores in the preliminary study. The mean of final score showed improvement and the mean of each aspect in writing also indicated good improvement. The biggest improvement was in the language features, which became one of the main focuses. The mean after the implementation was 88.6, whereas the mean in the preliminary study was 80. All students passed the passing grade. Moreover, 87% students showed positive opinions towards the strategy based on the result of the questionnaires. Based on the findings, English teachers are supposed to implement corrective feedback in which the students get involve actively in the activities such as peer feedback and revision. Feedback will work well only if the students take a part in the activity. Further researchers are expected to conduct the same research in longer meetings and for other text types. Moreover, it is better if there is inter rater. The subjects are also supposed to be in higher level such as English department students who are taking writing course. ABSTRAK Rosalia, Ariska. 2016. Penerapan Pemberian Indirect Corrective Feedback untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Siswa Kelas X SMAN 01 Purwosari. Skripsi, Jurusan Sastra Inggris, Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembimbing: (1) Prof. Ali Saukah, M.A., Ph.D. Implementing a visual noise warning device in intensive care unit
Purpose of Project: Many Intensive Care Units struggle with the issue of high noise levels. Decreasing noise levels is conducive for health and wellbeing of patients and staff, and enhances patient experience during their hospital stay.
Methodology: This quality improvement project measured noise in two phases. The baseline noise levels were measured for four weeks (May 31, 2021 to June 25, 2021). After completing the measurement of baseline noise levels, brief information sessions were conducted among Intensive Care Unit team members about the importance of noise reduction, during the morning huddles (June 28, 2021 to July 2, 2021). A week after the completion of morning huddles, the visual noise warning device was activated and measurement of post-intervention noise levels were measured for four weeks (July 5, 2021 to July 30, 2021).
Results: The mean noise levels from 8:00 am-1:00 pm before the implementation of a visual noise warning device was 64.1 decibels (dB), and post-intervention was 57.2 dB; a decrease of 10.76%. Comparatively during the evening hours (8:00 pm-1:00 am), the mean noise levels pre-intervention was 58.1 dB, and the mean noise levels post-intervention was 49.7 dB, a decrease of 14.45%.
Implications for Practice: Clinical: The implementation of a visual noise warning device demonstrated noise reduction in Intensive Care Unit. It is hoped that for future studies the visual noise warning device be considered as part of an effort to reduce noise, promote healthy sleeping patterns and well-being of patients hospital-wide. Research: For the next Doctor of Nursing Practice student who wish to explore about noise reduction in a larger scope, this project may be of value as a resource, or may serve as a starting point. Policy: Revisiting hospital policies may be considered to include the importance of noise reduction in the onboarding of all hospital employees. Education: Educating all hospital workers about noise reduction. Establishing expectations about every employee’s behavioral standards enhances their accountability for maintaining a healthy sound environment.D.N.P.Includes bibliographical reference
