Signifier, signified and multiplicity of context
Dr. Ardat is Associate Professor of Stylistics at King Saud University,Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Texts, verbal and written, ensue from a tension between a cathode-and-anode like shuttling in a dichotomy of words and things that is as old as the material and social worlds. In fact words and things are forbear-nodes of the one and same dichotomy that originated in antiquity and preserved intermittently but insistently throughout the periods of history of western thought under different linguistic rubric-nodes, the latest of which, in the field of linguistics, is Ferdinand de Saussure's signifier and signified, offshoots of the dichotomy-nodes, rhetoric and logic or form and content respectively.
As far back as recorded literary history is manifest, men of thought have been concerned with the transaction between substance and its form. Thee has always been a query about the nature of such a transaction and whether it was potent enough to fuse substance into form and vice versa; or was it so impotent that it kept both elements of the transaction asunder. In a survey study that covers the history of the form-content dichotomy from the sophists to the end of the nineteenth century, the present author reached the conclusion that form and content have always been L._1d will always be polarities as long as the addresser and addressee are human beings and as long as language cannot do away with its associative value-system

Modernisasi Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Non Formal: Studi Fenomenologi pada Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah
Madrasah diniyah takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) is often considered a non-formal Islamic educational institution that still maintains the classical system. However, changing times seem to be inevitable and must be accepted by MDTA. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the modernization of education carried out by madrasah diniyah takmiliyah. This research is devoted to MDTA Pendidikan Agama Islam Medan, on the grounds that the madrasa has modernized. The research method used is qualitative based on phenomenological studies. Research informants consisted of madrasa heads and teachers. The results of the study explain that teachers' perceptions of the modernization of madrasah diniyah takmiliyah education should be carried out while respecting traditional and religious values. The aim is to produce graduates who have a balance between religious knowledge, skills, and an understanding of the modern world. Some aspects that are being modernized are a balanced curriculum, teaching methods that are more interactive and inclusive, teacher development, the use of educational technology in learning, evaluation of current learning, collaboration with educational institutions, character education, openness and inclusiveness
Analisis Hukum Islam tentang Pendaftaran Haji Saat Usia Dini (Kajian Terhadap Fatwa MUI dan Teori Sosial Ekonomi)
This study aims to analyze the registration of hajj at this age in the study of the MUI fatwa No. 002/MUNAS X/MUI/XI/2020 and socio-economic theory studies. This study uses a qualitative research method based on literature study with primary data sources, namely the preamble of fatwa no. 002/MUNAS X/MUI/XI/2020 concerning registration of hajj at an early age and a book on economic sociology by Damsar and Indrayani. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis and description analysis techniques. The results of the study explain that Hajj registration at an early age to get a portion of the Hajj is legal (permissible), provided that the money used to register for Hajj is obtained in a lawful way, does not interfere with other costs that must be met, does not violate the provisions of the legislation. , does not hinder the implementation of Hajj for mukallaf who already have the obligation 'ala al-faur and have registered. Then the research also explains that socially registration for Hajj at an early age has the opportunity to create new social strata, where at an early age a person will be seen as respectable by his participation as a prospective Hajj participant. DESKRIPSI KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS MATERI SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL DITINJAU DARI GAYA KOGNITIF SISWA SMP NEGERI 1 BAROMBONG KELAS IX C
Deskripsi Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis pada Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel Ditinjau dari Gaya Kognitif Siswa SMP Kelas IX
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan memperhatikan gaya kognitif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 2 orang siswa SMP dari kelas IX. Instrumen dari penelitian ini berupa tes GEFT(Group Embedded Figure Test) dan tes kemampuan koneksi matematis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah berdasarkan dua indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis yang diteliti. (1) Keterkaitan antar konsep matematika. (2) Keterkaitan matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa sesuai dengan gaya kognitif yang dimilikinya pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel yaitu pada indikator pertama, subjek dengan gaya kognitif field independent memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi sedangkan subjek dengna gaya kognitif field dependent memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis sedang. Pada indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis yang kedua, subjek dengan gaya kognitif field independent dan subjek dengan gaya kognitif field dependent memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi.
