Yusuf known with the pseudonym of Halimi was one of the qadis of Mehmet the Conqueror. He lived in the 15th century and was famous for his Bahru’l- Garayib which is composed of two books on lexicon and literature theory and offers valuable information about the muamma. The author in his book analyzed the sample muamma, established the fictional setting related to the muamma and exemplified it. What makes the book more valuable is that six of the 68 muammas were written in Turkish. It is one of the shortcoming aspects of Turkish literature that Halimi is not included in the ones analyzing the muamma. It should be accepted that Halimi should take place in the 15th century Turkish literature as an author who writes and analyzes muammas

SCARA Robot is one of the types of robot that exist today. The SCARA acronym stands for Selective Compliant Assembly Robot Arm or Selective Compliant Articulated Robot Arm. By virtue of the SCARA's parallel-axis joint layout, the arm is slightly compliant in the 'X-Y' direction but rigid in the 'Z' direction. Regarding this project, the author has designed the actuators, also known as servo motors for the SCARA robot that has been initially designed by students from the previous year. The strength of the SCARA robot has been determined analytically using Finite Element Analysis via CATIA. The actuators are designed not just to move the SCARA arms in the appropriate order but to determine the most efficient cost that should be spent on them. The process of designing the actuators involved the calculations of inertia, voltage, current, speed, torque and etc. Most of the calculations are based on calculations provided by Maxon Motor Company; a company that has been so tremendous in robotics and plays a major part in supplying this project. However, the results from the machine-human interface provided by Maxon depend on manual calculations of equation of motion. Every aspect must be considered so that the actuators, which going to be selected at the end of the research shall work as expected and the programming process may run smoothly. In term of control system, transfer functions that relate the torque constant, rotor inductance and terminal resistance are produced. These transfer functions are manipulated in order to obtain stability for each actuator respectively. The study on the stability is then conducted using Simulink of MATLAB. Simulink would enable the system to be controlled appropriately by bounding some characteristics such as settling time, rise time and peak time within specified value that would make it dynamically stabl

The present study aims to provide a carefully annotated translation of the second series of the Essays of Elia which appeared in English periodical magazines between 1820 and 1833. In order to be as complete as possible, this translation includes the passages removed by the author when they were published in book form in 1833. Particular attention has been paid to French translations of individual Elia essays scattered in mid-nineteenth century French magazines as well as to more modern translations of the collected Essays, up to the present day. The Last Essays of Elia was Lamb’s final published work. It was very tempting to look for threads running through his work from the early writings to the LEE. In the critical introduction, we have sought to consider the various aspects of the work of Lamb, who was at the same time a poet, a journalist, a playwright, a theatre critic and a letter-writer before making his name as an essay-writer, breathing new life into the genre, thanks to the Elia persona. The fact that Lamb was a friend of the first English Romantic poets and that his life was blighted by his mother’s murder at the hands of his beloved sister, brings a vivid interest to his work. An isolated figure of Romanticism, a "very reasonable Romantic" himself, a humourist in love with the books and language of the past, Lamb, though a relatively minor author, remains a key link to understanding the early nineteenth-century English literary scene

Islam as a discourse of resistance is not a contemporary issue. Islam occurred to encounter injustice and oppression. Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim, an author with disabilities, cannot be detached from the strength of her era. She wrote a novel Lemah Tanjung as a form of resistance to her era. As an author, she experienced essential events in her life. This research concerned on two things: the Islamic value in the resistance in Lemah Tanjung and the value of Islam's veiled resistance. This study implemented Faiclough's critical discourse theory which incorporated three basic components in analyzing text. The method administered was a qualitative. The data were collected from the novel Lemah Tanjung. The results of the study revealed that there was a hidden meaning in the content of Islamic resistance encompassing issues for the general public. The series of criticalities contains a hidden meaning that requires to be unveiled. That people desire enlightenment, liberation and previous issues which are necessary to be discussed openly. In this study, polite resistance possesses a significant contribution in society

Internal Factors Affecting the Rate of Burnout (Case Study: Social Workers Working in the Organization Tehran Welfare) Sattar Parvin[1]  ,  Salah Halimi[2] Received: 19/12/ 2016             Accepted: 23/05/217   Abstract The purpose of the current research is determining the amount of occupational burnout and the effects of intra organizational factors among the social workers of welfare of Tehran province. This is a kind of survey research. The statistical community is almost 200 persons who were the social workers of welfare organization in Tehran. According to the achieved findings, the amount of occupational burnout is very high. The results also indicated that the intra organizational communications are so weak and the management method is not in its effective mode. Based on the hypothesis and the model of this research, using the regression functions it has been observed that communications with other colleagues have the most effective role on the occupational burnout with following value: . The latter variable is job stress with the value of –0.382. In total, sixty percentage of variable variance determines the amount of occupational burnout. According the findings, it can be concluded that there is a direct relationship between the bureaucratic atmosphere of the organization and the occupational burnout. In other words, when there is not any friendly relationship through the employees, the amount of occupational burnout increases. Many contemporary researchers in the science of Psychology, especially in those disciplines that are directly related to mental health and healing have realized that there has been insufficient attention to the positive aspects, human capacities and strengths of human whether or not they are affected by psychological disturbances. The increased focus mainly on disorders and pathologies and on the limitations that result from their presence has produced a not at all positive, one-sided and not balanced or comprehensive view of what human potential really is. This unfair attention on desease led Martin Seligman in 1998 to choose Positive Psychology a central theme of his speech as President of the APA to emphasize the low attention given to what is healthy and positive. Knowledge about what is healthy and powerful are many times less due to the lack of studies in relation to knowledge about pathology. The article aims to bring some of the arguments he raised with a brief analysis of the author on why this approach is worth considering today in the assessment of well-being by psychologists and professionals in the field.

THE IMPACT OF ELECTRONIC BANKING ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION (CASE STUDY BANK MANDIRI 2014)

    No full text
Electronic banking is receiving a lot of attention with many banks now offering the service because of its high demand among its customers and also as a means of the banks to remain competitive in the ever-changing world. In Indonesia there have been an increase among customers use of Internet banking in the last ten years. The growth of Internet banking can be attributed to several advantages among customers; e-banking has eliminated the space and time boundaries in relation to when and how customers can access their accounts. It has also eliminated the physical barriers between the banks and the clients. E-banking has also been associated with security among the customers, as third party doesn’t get to know when customers visit the bank. The customers can access from anywhere. Bank Mandiri has a wide collaboration with various types of industries particularly in the payment system by using Mandiri’s product. The bank often offers many special deals as the result of its mutual collaboration with certain companies in order to enhance sales of the company and maintain loyalty of Mandiri’s customers furthermore, Bank Mandiri is often acted as the medium of payment within government and educational institution such as payment of electricity through e-banking. The methods used in this research are explanatory method and quantitative method as the basic foundation for doing research. In this research, the author aims to identify the relationship between X/cause variable (eight selected factors influencing Customer’s Satisfaction with e-banking) and Y/effect variable (Customer Satisfaction). Sample convenience is the way to use the sampling technique with 83 respondents separated to customers of bank Mandiri Setiabudi branch who is using e-banking. According to Sarwono (2012). Path analysis is a technique for analyzing the causal relationship that occurs in multiple regressions when the independent variables affects the dependent variable not only directly but also indirectly.” The path diagram is a picture to describe the causal structure between the independent variables and the dependent variable. In a path diagram, the double ended arrows indicate a correlation relationship and the one way arrows indicate a causal relationship or a direct effect of the variable (exogenous) X on the dependent variable (endogenous) Y.” (Ridwan and Kuncoro, 2007). In the analysis of the line, do not use the term independent variable or dependent. Instead we use the terms exphenous and endogenous variables. Testing the path analysis can only be used if the scale of measurement uses the interval scale. Therefore, after the ordinal scale, the effect between the two variables can be determined by using data obtained from Method Successive Interval (MSI). Interval data is the data whith the same distance but does not have the value of zero (0) absolute. (Sugiyono, 2012). Below are the steps of doing MSI: 1. For each of statements, count the frequency of each respondent’s answer choices 2. For the items, determine how many people reply 1,2,3,4 scores of individual items on the questionnaire statement, called the frequency. 3. The next step will be done by using add-ins that available for Microsoft Office Excel. The analyze tools provide the successive interval calculation. Based on Riduwan and Kuncoro (2008:116), to test the path analysis is required following step: 1. State the statistical hypothesis (operational hypotheses) to be tested and the path equation 2. Calculate the path coefficients. 3. Calculate the path coefficient simultaneously. 4. Calculate the path coefficient partially 5. Making inferences. The results of path coefficient calculation is commonly assumed that the influence of Accessibility, Convenience, Privacy, Security, Design, Content, Speed and Fee & Charge by 73,0%, while the 27% is influenced by other variables out of this research. Fees & Charge is the highest of classification assessment and categorized as good which is got 79.21% perceived by customers. Customer Satisfaction got 74.79% of the classification perceived by customers. Bank should focus on increasing the e-banking through accessibility, convenience, Speed and fees & charge. Fictions souveraines : héritages féministes de la Kahina

    No full text
The author studies the multiple reappropriations of the Kahina’s story in the Francophone world by bringing together two corpora: the works of French orientalists and the fiction of women writers. The intertextual reading underlines the mechanisms of formation and transmission of a feminist heritage around this Amazigh queen, who opposed the Arab invasion of North Africa in the seventh century. Although her life and identity remain uncertain, the Kahina has lent herself « to all sorts of recuperations » since the Middle Ages (Modéran), in turn a symbol of Berberism, feminism, nationalism, Jewish identity, and class struggle. For the authors discussed in this article, being part of the contested heritage of the Kahina corresponds to a « search for origins » (Halimi) that emancipates and connects women from different backgrounds to cross the symbolic border of the Mediterranean. Through such mechanisms of transcultural identification, the author of this article proposes to consider feminist (re)appropriations of the Kahina as acts of anti-imperial resistance, turning her instrumentalization by the French empire on its head and offering a reinterpretation of history through fiction. The Kahina becomes the figurehead of a transcultural feminist pantheon, constantly reinvented.

Abstract Background The aim of this study was to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to estimate the prevalence of needle-stick injury among Iranian nurses. Methods We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to estimate the prevalence of needle-stick injury among Iranian nurses. A comprehensive search of Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, Scientific Information Database, and MagIran was performed, yielding 29 observational articles comprising 8842 nurses. The studies ranged from 2006 to 2023, with sample sizes varying from 68 to 1555 individuals. Methodological quality was assessed using the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology checklist. The pooled prevalence was calculated using the random-effects model, and subgroup analyses were conducted based on hospital type and gender. The data was analyzed using Stata software version 16. Results The pooled prevalence of needle-stick injury among Iranian nurses was found to be 46% (95% Confidence Interval [CI]: 39-53%). Subgroup analysis revealed significant difference in prevalence between teaching hospitals (47%; 95% CI: 39-54%) and military hospitals (38%; 95% CI: 31.1-44%). The prevalence of NSI in region 1 (Tehran and surrounding provinces) and other regions was 45.1% (95% CI: 37-54%) and 49.17% (95% CI: 36.5-61.7%). Gender-based analysis showed higher prevalence in women (58%; 95% CI: 44-71%) compared to men (55%; 95% CI: 43-66%). Conclusion Needle stick injuries has a high prevalence among Iranian nurses, especially nurses working in teaching hospitals. Therefore, it seems necessary to use interventions to reduce it
