    Strategic Management of the Balanced Scorecard and Blue Ocean in Elementary Education Institutions

    This study aims to understand how the implementation of the balanced scorecard and blue ocean in primary education institutions in the city of Banjarmasin. This research uses a case study qualitative approach, where interviews, observations, and documentation are used as media to obtain valid and accountable data. The data analysis follows an interactive analysis model, which collects, reduces, and presents data to conclude. The results showed that the implementation of the balanced scorecard and blue ocean in primary education in Banjarmasin City could be grouped into 4, namely: first, school management; second, community participation; third, teaching and learning activities; and fourth output. The non-implementation of the balanced scorecard and blue ocean policies is caused because the parties involved in their implementation do not want to cooperate, work half-heartedly, or do not fully master the problem so that no matter how persistent their efforts are, they cannot overcome the existing obstacles.

    Every development of a country inevitably goes through a series of policies that must be implemented, including in the field of education. This study aims to collect evidence from scientific studies on the suitability of educational policy formulation with actual implementation. A series of related literature searches across various journals, publications, books and websites actively addresses educational policy and practice issues to support this research. We can use this data as study data after going through a series of studies related to the critical assessment data coding system and conclude after an in-depth interpretation of the data using a phenomenological approach. The data is completely valid and up-to-date. Based on the results of the research and discussion of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of education policy is an action that is closely related to the way education is carried out with full responsibility, accountability in accordance with its duties. programmed by the constitution to improve the quality and accountability of education. The results of this study are expected to be an important input for efforts to develop similar research in future research activities

    Berbicara masalah guru yang baik dalam konotasi kualitas pribadi ( agood teacher), atau guru yang berhasil (a successfull teacher), dan ada pula yang berbicara tentang guru yang efektif (an effective teacher).  Sekarang perlu  memahami citra atau profil seorang guru, mengetahui statusnya di tengah masyarakat pendidikan yang selalu berubah secara tiba tiba dan mengejutkan sehingga  menempatkan peranan guru sebagai agen perubahan dan mengembangkan tanggung jawab secara moral serta berkomitmen  dan abstraksi yang tinggi dalam melakukan misi mendidiknya. Aspek kinerja guru, hasil survey awal menunjukkan bahwa kurangnnya (prestasi kerja, kemampuan kerja, penampilan kerja, produksi kerja, rendahnya disiplin kerja, rendahnya kreativitas) sebagai indikator yang terlihat waktu itu adalah tingkahlaku atau perbuatan yang tampak dari guru-guru kurang menunjukkan kinerja yang seharusnya

    Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis implementasi manajemen pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus.Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, karena jenis penelitian kualitatif merupakan metode yang memfokuskan pada keterlibatan interpretasi peneliti yang berusaha menginterprestasikan perilaku para stakeholders pada suatu fenomena yang dialaminya (Denzin dan Lincoln, 2015: 3-4), yang dalam hal ini adalah para stakeholders pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian kualitatif mempunyai tujuan agar peneliti lebih mengenal lingkungan penelitian, dan dapat terjun langsung ke lapangan sebagai key instrument (instrumen kunci). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa manajemen pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kota Banjarmasin memberikan dampak yang begitu besar bagi pembelajaran. Eksistensi seluruh elemen yang terlibat sangat ditentukan oleh sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung berjalannya semua kegiatan pembelajaran baik di dalam maupun luar kelas

    Reading the kitab kuning is not easy, it requires perseverance and mastery of knowledge of other sciences such as Arabic, nahwu, sharaf and others. An Islamic boarding school are not spared in terms of teaching reading the kitab kuning, including the Kasypul Anwar Amuntai Islamic Boarding School. The kitab kuning reading competition at the district level are wustha (Middle) and Ulya (Upper) levels. The ability of students to read the kitab kuning cannot escape the education and guidance of teachers. This is because teachers have a role in the teaching and learning process. This research method uses descriptive qualitative the results of this study are: 1) Teachers' efforts to improve the skills of reading the kitab kuning for students at the Kasypul Anwar Amuntai Islamic Boarding School are: (a) The use of several types of methods during teaching, namely the bandongan, sorogan and question and answer methods. (b) providing motivation for students in the form of inspirational stories, and educational humor. (c) invite students to pray together before and after learning; 2) The difficulties are, (a) the lack of concentration of some students during learning because they are sleepy. (b) some students sometimes forget the rules of Nahwu and Sharaf

    New Trends in Education: Computational Thinking and Its Role in Improving the Quality of School Human Resources

    This study aims to analyze how the application of computational thinking can affect students' analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as change the mindset of teachers from conventional teachers to innovators in one of the Junior High Schools in Banjarmasin City. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, including coding, identifying important themes, and interpretation in the context of computational thinking theory. Data triangulation was carried out by comparing the results of observations, interviews, and document analysis to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study indicate that computational thinking plays a significant role in improving students' technical and analytical skills and encouraging the transformation of teachers' mindsets towards a more innovative and adaptive approach to technology. In addition, this study also found that the implementation of computational thinking successfully addressed the gap in technology skills among students, thereby increasing educational equality. The implications of this study indicate that the application of computational thinking in the school curriculum can be an effective strategy to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. However, this study is limited to one location. It does not consider gender factors and variations in student backgrounds, so further research is needed with a wider scope to obtain a more comprehensive picture
