Even though it has the features of its contemporary commentaries and is a product of its age s requirements, Kutbuddin Al-Shirazi s commentary has some unique aspects that differ from others. Especially it differs from others in the purpose of written. It was written for the public, for counselling them and giving direction to its era. In addition, it gives place to different opinions and makes choices between them. This commentary is a kind of compilation that has little of its author s authority. It includes some topics that are far from commentary broadly and repeats the topics that the author cares about more than once. The features that make this co mmentary original are that the commentator does not give place enough to the scientific explanation although he is an expert on sciences in his time, he prefers although partially- narrations to scientific views, he gives place a little or no to the philo sophy of Illumination even though he is counted as one of the representatives, he gives place to some critical statements on Illumination views and he wrote his book using much more resources than his conte m- poraries who suffered from the lack of resources

Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü, Tefsir Ana Bilim Dalı, Tefsir Bilim DalıBu çalışmada, Bursevî'nin Ruhu'l-Beyan tefsirinde okunuş farklılıklarına değinilen ayetler tespit edilerek bunların manaya yansımaları gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca yazarın okunuşunu verip hangi kıraate ait olduğunu bildirmediği ayetlerin hangi imamlar tarafından farklı okunduğu ilgili kaynaklardan tespit edilerek kayda geçirilmiştir. Bununla birlikte anlam bütünlüğü sağlamak ve farklı okunuşun anlam üzerindeki tesirini tam yansıtabilmek adına, yer yer, ayetlerin siyak ve sibakları da dikkate alınarak değerlendirmeleri yapılmıştır. Aynı şekilde, ilgili ayetteki kıraat faklılığının anlama etkisini yansıtabilmek adına farklı müfessirlerin konu hakkındaki değerlendirmelerine de, ihtiyaç duyuldukça, yer verilmiştir. In this study, the verses in which reading differences are mentioned in Bursevî's Ruhu'l-Beyan commentary were identified and their reflections on meaning were shown. In addition, the verses that the author gave the reading but did not specify which recitation they belonged to were determined and recorded from relevant sources by which imams read them differently. However, in order to ensure semantic integrity and to fully reflect the effect of different readings on the meaning, the verses have been evaluated, taking into account their siyak and sibak. Likewise, the evaluations of different commentators on the subject are included, when necessary, in order to reflect the understanding effect of the difference in recitation in the relevant verse

If a Minkowski billiard is projective, it is the standard billiard

In the recent paper arXiv:2405.13258, the first author of this note proved that if a billiard in a convex domain in Rn\mathbb{R}^n is simultaneously projective and Minkowski, then it is the standard Euclidean billiard in an appropriate Euclidean structure. The proof was quite complicated and required high smoothness. Here we present a direct simple proof of this result which works in C1C^1-smoothness. In addition we prove the semi-local and local versions of the resul

YÖK Tez: 689513Klasik Türk edebiyatı şerh geleneğinde bazı eserler büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Bahsedilen öneme sahip eserlerden birisi Hz. Peygamber övgüsünde İmam Bûsîrî tarafından yazılmış el-Kevâkibü'd-Dürriye fî Medhi Hayri'l-Beriyye adlı ve Kasîde-i Bürde adıyla şöhret kazanmış olan kasidedir. Kasîde-i Bürde hakkında XIX. yüzyılda Türkçe Kasîde-i Bürde Şerhi "Hediyye" adıyla şerh yazanlardan birisi de Rusçuklu Mehmed Hayrî'dir. Çalışmamızda Mehmed Hayrî'nin yazmış olduğu Türkçe Kasîde-i Bürde Şerhi "Hediyye" adlı eser incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Kasîde-i Bürde adıyla şöhret kazanmış olan iki farklı kaside ve bu kasidelerin müellifleri hakkında bilgiler verilerek Türkçe olarak kaleme alınmış Kasîde-i Bürde şerh ve tercümelerinin bibliyografyası verilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde eserin müellifi olan Rusçuklu Mehmed Hayrî'nin hayatı, edebî kişiliği ve eserleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Türkçe Kasîde-i Bürde Şerhi "Hediyye" incelemesi yapılmıştır. Some works have great importance in the commentary tradition of classical Turkish literature. Dexmedetomidine vs midazolam for premedication of pediatric patients undergoing anesthesia

    No full text
Background: Dexmedetomidine, an a2-receptor agonist, provides sedation, analgesia, and anxiolytic effects, and these properties make it a potentially useful anesthetic premedication. In this study, we compared the effects of intranasal dexmedetomidine and midazolam on mask induction and preoperative sedation in pediatric patients. Methods: Ninety children classified as ASA physical status I, aged between 2 and 9, who were scheduled to undergo an elective adenotonsillectomy, were enrolled for a prospective, randomized, and double-blind controlled trial. All of the children received intranasal medication approximately 4560 min before the induction of anesthesia. Group M (n = 45) received 0.2 mg center dot kg-1 of intranasal midazolam, and Group D (n = 45) received 1 mu g center dot kg-1 of intranasal dexmedetomidine. All of the patients were anesthetized with nitrous oxide, oxygen, and sevoflurane, administered via a face mask. The primary end point was satisfactory mask induction, and the secondary end points included satisfactory sedation upon separation from parents, hemodynamic change, postoperative analgesia, and agitation score at emergence. Results: Satisfactory mask induction was achieved by 82.2% of Group M and 60% of Group D (P = 0.01). There was no evidence of a difference between the groups in either sedation score (P = 0.36) or anxiety score (P = 0.56) upon separation from parents. The number of patients who required postoperative analgesia was higher in the midazolam group (P = 0.045). Conclusion: Intranasal dexmedetomidine and midazolam are equally effective in decreasing anxiety upon separation from parents; however, midazolam is superior in providing satisfactory conditions during mask induction

This study aims to evaluate the analgesic efficacy of dexmedetomidine added to levobupivacaine following anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery. Fifty patients undergoing ACL reconstruction were included. Group DL (dexmedetomidin-levobupivacaine) received 20mL 0.5% levobupivacaine plus 1mL (100 mu g) dexmedetomidine. Group L (levobupivacaine) patients received 20mL 0.5% levobupivacaine plus 1mL saline 10minutes before tourniquet release. A patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pump was then connected, delivering 0.5mg at every 10minutes and 1-mg morphine and 75-mg diclofenac sodium was used as a rescue analgesic. Postoperative pain was evaluated 0, 2, 4, 6, 12, and 24hours after extubation at rest and during movement. A rehabilitation program was started after surgery. Postoperative continuous passive motion (CPM) starting time, postoperative leg flexion angle, and straight leg lifting time were evaluated for each group. There were no significant differences between the groups in terms of demographic data and operation time. Morphine consumption, analgesic requirements, and visual analogue scale (VAS) assessments were significantly lower in group DL during the 24-hour period after surgery. The time to start CPM in the postoperative period was significantly shorter in group DL. Passive joint flexion angle was significantly higher in group DL. Postoperative straight leg lifting time was significantly shorter in group DL. Adding dexmedetomidine to the intra-articular levobupivacaine provided better postoperative pain control and improved rehabilitation period after ACL surgery
