Get PDFThis article discusses the influence of patriarchal culture on Tafsir Firdaus Al-Na'im by Thaifur Ali Wafa, who specifically analyzes the interpretation of gender verses. This research shows that the interpretation of Thaifur Ali Wafa still maintains the patriarchal element which states that a man is the leader of the family with greater responsibilities and rights than a woman. The background concludes that Tafsir Firdaus Al-Na'im still contains strong patriarchal elements because it is influenced by socio-cultural norms of Patriarchy using Classical Tafsir reference sources as well as traditional views on gender relations in Islam accompanied by an emphasis on ethics and responsibility. Begitu juga dalam naskah drama Audatul Firdaus karya Ali Ahmad Bakatsir, di dalamnya banyak terdapat jenis dan fungsi implikatur yang ditemukan. Satu-satunya cara untuk mengetahui jenis dan fungsi implikatur dari tuturan yang ada dalam dialog antar tokoh tersebut yaitu menggunakan teori implikatur dalam kajian pragmatik. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis dan fungsi implikatur yang ada dalam naskah drama Audatul Firdaus sesuai tuturannya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak catat. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori implikatur yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian adalah teori implikatur yang dikemukakan oleh Grice dan Zamzani. No full textThis article aimed to describe one of the Tafsir which compiled by Ulama Madura named Thaifur Ali Wafa. He is the son of famous Ulama Madura named KH. Ali Wafa. Thaifur’s capacity as the Ulama could not be doubted. Inherited the expertise of his father, now he has produced a number of books. One of His magnum opus is Tafsir Firdaus al-Na’im. The Tafsir classified as the unpublished tafsir, so that his Tafsir considerend unnoticed on the studies of The Alquran in Indonesia. Tafsir Firdaus al-Na’im consist complete commentary of Alquran within 30 Chapter and written by Arabic language. It took approximately three year to complete his written. The Methodology of the Tafsir is using the Tahlili method. althought that, the way its explanation not totally as the same Tahlili ways. It viewed with the aspect of interpretation using ijmali analysis with simple explanation, it’s feature interpretation could not be affilated to any special pattern. The existance of the Tafsir Firdaus al-Nai’m in the modern era showed the dynamics development of interpretation of the Alquran in Indonesia. at least, this Tafsir could add the treasury of literature interpretation of the Alquran in Nusantara

No full textAli Ahmad Bākathīr was a prolific Arab playwright, novelist and poet of the 20th Century. He wrote almost fifty literary works and more than thirty plays in Arabic which developed Islamic character in Arabic literature. His works sought to establish Islamic values and traditions that occurred in Islamic societies. Although his works contributed immensely to the Arabic and Islamic literature, Bākathīr has received lack of attention from scholars both in Islamic world and in non-Islamic world. This paper explores the Muslim effort in acquiring national independence on the literary works of Bākathīr, particularly on the concept of nationalism. In the process of acquiring national independence, Indonesia’s figures usually utilized the paradigm of nationalism through words of dialog. The words of figure that referred to nationalism will be discussed. In this paper, we argue that Bākathīr literary work’s ’Audat al-Firdaus contains the spirit of nationalism for gaining independence. </jats:p

Get PDFPenelitian ini menggunakan naskah drama Audatul Firdaus sebagai objek material dan obbjek formalnya adalah nasionalisme bangsa Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menguraikan pemikiran nasionalisme dari Ali Ahmad Bakatsir yang dia sampaikan melalui sebuah naskah drama yang berjudul ‘Audatul Firdaus. Naskah drama ‘Audatul Firdaus merupakan naskah yang menceritakan tentang perjuangan bangsa Indonesia di masa pra proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia. Naskah drama ini diterbitkan pada tahun 1946 dan berhasil menarik simpati rakyat Mesir pada masa itu terhadap penderitaan yang dialami oleh bangsa Indonesia.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Strukturalisme Genetik Lucien Goldmann. Strukturalisme genetik merupakan suatu pendekatan sastra yang diciptakan oleh Lucien Goldmann yang berangkat dari kritiknya terhadap Teori sosiologis sastra Marxis yang selama ini menceraikan karya sastra dari realitas sastra tersebut. Pendekatan ini merupakan pengembangan dari sosiologi sastra yang dipadukan dengan strukturalisme murni menghasilkan beberapa pemikiran tentang karya sastra sesuai dengan tiga sifat dasar manusia yaitu kecenderungan atas signifikansi, konsistensi dan transendensi. Dengan menggunakan metode dialektika sebagai metode analisisnya, pendekatan ini memunculkan suatu pandangan umum tentang karya sastra berdasarkan latar belakang kelompok sosial pengarang yang disebut dengan pandangan dunia pengarang.
Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa pemikiran nasionalisme bangsa Indonesia yang disampaikan oleh Ali Ahmad Bakatsir dalam naskah ‘Audatul Firdaus muncul karena dipengaruhi oleh Latar belakang kelompok sosial Bakatsir yang mewakili akademisi, sastrawan, kaum nasionalis Mesir dan cendekiawan muslim. Sebagai seorang akademisi dan sastrawan, nasionalisme bangsa Indonesia dalam pandangan Bakatsir adalah sebuah unsur yang sudah ada sejak dahulu kala dan diemplementasikan dalam kehidupan bangsa Indonesia sehari-hari, berdasarkan sumber-sumber teks dan tradisi lisan yang ada sejak dahulu serta diwariskan secara turun temurun kepada generasi penerus bangsa Indonesia. Sebagai seorang cendekiawan muslim dan nasionalis Mesir, nasionalisme bangsa Indonesia merupakan nasionalisme yang berpegang teguh kepada nilai-nilai keislaman yang bersumber pada Al-Qur’an dan Hadits dan diemplementasikan dalam semboyan hubbul wathan Minal ‘Iman. Pemikiran Bakatsir berdasarkan kelompok-kelompok sosialnya inilah yang menghasilkan pandangan dunia pengarang dan direpresentasikan melalui naskah drama ‘Audatul Firdaus

Get PDFThis study reveals on the important of towards having a good performance based on profitability. From that, the analysis on the profitability performance will be carried out. The reason is because the stability of one company is depending on their profitability performance and how they utilize it for the company benefits. They can operate effectively and efficiently by having good profitability performance. From the financial statement (balance sheet and income statement), the evaluation of the company performance can be done. To analyze the company that involve in this study, the basic tool of financial analysis will be used. The profitability ratios will be calculated based on the information disclosed on the financial statement of the companies. The study identifies the financial strength on certain criteria. There are five types of common profitability ratios will apply to calculate the financial statement such as gross profit margin, net profit margin, operating profit margin, return on asset and return on equity. The determination whether the company doing well in managing their financial activities in the last 5 years can be made by analysis of profitability ratio. An analysis has been given on each of the selected ratios after been calculated. From the ratio, we will know the performance of the company is decrease in year 2008. This is because the cost of good sales of the company is high and affects the company performance. For better performance in the future, the company needs to take some action in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the company

Riset kualitatif ini menggunakan metode content analysis. Dengan teori ortodoksi Henderson, kajian ini menegaskan bahwa tafsir Thaifur menunjukkan kecenderungan ortodoksi yang sangat kuat karena komitmennya pada kitab-kitab mu’tabarah dan pendapat para ulama salaf al-s}a>lih sebagai sumber rujukan, Latar belakang pendidikan dan jaringan keulamaan mazhab Sunni memengaruhi pemikiran tersebut. Namun demikian, ortodoksi pemikiran Thaifur ditunjukkan dengan sikap moderat dan toleran dalam menyikapi pendapat lain.
