Arriving in Honolulu, he suffered one cultural shock after another (lei-giving-girls kissing him, Americans' accents and their food). Sanah Ahsan is an award-winning poet and a qualified clinical psychologist. Ahsan has a growing profile in the public conversation about mental health. She is currently building anti-racism as a core competence into clinical psychology training. Her work has been featured by the BBC, Channel 4, Shakespeare's Globe and Southbank's WoW festival. She presented the 'Dispatches' documentary ‘Young, British and Depressed’. She has also fronted campaigns for the charity Childline on ‘coming out to religious parents’ and the therapeutic practice of poetry. Emma Williams spoke to Sanah Ahsan about matters of race, education, the arts, and how she draws on the interconnection between these areas in her own practice and research on mental health

They work with activists and communities on issues of land and water commons in Pakistan. Their PhD dissertation in Sociology was written on the death and defence of the Indus River in Pakistan. One of their most recent publications, co-authored with Christopher Courtheyn, is “Research as Action and Performance. Learning with Activists in Resource Conflicts”, published in 2021 in The Routledge Handbook of Critical Resource Geography. ABSTRACT
This thesis is entitled: "The Meaning of Ahsan Taqwim in the Al-Qur'an and Its
Correlation with the Best Looking Concept on Social Media". Ahsan taqwim are
humans who are given potential in themselves so that they are able to develop
their identity in doing the same as other humans, especially in education. While
Best Looking is a term that comes from English. Linguistically, the meaning of
Best looking is good looking. The formulation of the problem in this study is the
interpretation of verses related to the meaning of Ahsan Taqwim and its
correlation with the concept of Best Looking. This study uses library research
with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis method. The interpretation
method used is the mawdhu'i interpretation method with primary and secondary
data sources coming from library sources. The results of this study are first, ahsan
taqwim is a human being created in a balanced, upright posture, beautiful shape,
the best creature, both physically and mentally. And Best Looking can be
interpreted to look attractive, good, good. Second, the correlation between the
meaning of Ahsan Taqwim and the concept of Best Looking is to show that based
on the verse about Ahsan Taqwim and the concept of Best Looking it has the
same meaning, namely about human perfection, but to reach the level of Ahsan
Taqwim and Best Looking it has characteristics that are not only seen in terms of
physical or outward appearance,but also includes a person's behavior or attitude.

The data collection carried out by the author is based on direct observations in the field and literature studies, in a process carried out from the beginning of the internship to the end.
