    Supporting and Inhibiting Factors in the Development of Indonesian Language with the Integration of Islamic Education Values

    This study explores the development of Indonesian language teaching materials integrated with Islamic Education (PAI) values for Grade XI students at SMA Terpadu Bustanul Arifin Bener Meriah, during the 2024-2025 academic year. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, focusing on identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors in this integration. Key supporting factors include the availability of Indonesian language books published by Kemendiknas and strong support from Indonesian language and PAI teachers. Inhibiting factors include the absence of National Instructors (IN) for the Indonesian language subject in Situbondo Regency, limited creativity and design skills in the developed materials, inadequate IT proficiency among teachers, and time constraints. The study concludes that while the initiative shows promise, addressing these challenges is critical to ensuring the successful integration of PAI values into the curriculum. This integration aims to enhance not only linguistic skills but also the moral and spiritual development of students, aligning with the broader educational objectives of the 2013 curriculum

    This qualitative study explores the implementation of the Jigsaw Learning Method in teaching the reading of the Yellow Book to students (santri) at Dayah Terpadu Bustanul Arifin, Bener Meriah, during the academic year 2024-2025. The method involves several key steps: First, students are divided into Core Groups by the ustadz (teacher). These Core Groups are then transitioned into Expert Groups, where each group focuses on specific areas such as Nahwu (Arabic grammar), Shorrof (morphology), Reading and Meaning, and Explanation. Students engage in in-depth discussions within these Expert Groups to enhance their understanding of the topics. Following the discussions, students return to their Core Groups to present and share the knowledge gained. Finally, the ustadz concludes the session with a 10-minute summary, consolidating the main points and addressing any questions. This study highlights the structured and collaborative nature of the Jigsaw Learning Method in fostering a deeper comprehension and engagement with the traditional texts

The results and conclusions of the virtues of reading the Qur'an are as follows. a. Lovers of the Qur'an by reading it will be recognized as the family of Allah (Bahaullah) and include those privileged by Allah. b.  the one who is adept or fashion of reading the Qur'an will be placed by Allah with angels who are obedient to him. These angels are angels who are obedient and obedient to God and always do good, c.     The leading edge of a free boundary interacting with a line of fast diffusion

    International audienceOur goal in this work is to explain an unexpected feature of the expanding level sets of the solutions of a system where a half-plane in which reaction-diffusion phenomena occur exchanges mass with a line having a large diffusion of its own. The system was proposed by H. Berestycki, L. Rossi, and the second author as a model of enhancement of biological invasions by a line of fast diffusion. It was observed numerically by A.-C. Coulon that the leading edge of the front, rather than being located on the line, was in the lower half-plane. We explain this behavior for a closely related free boundary problem. We construct travelling waves for this problem, and the analysis of their free boundary near the line confirms the predictions of the numerical simulations

    This research is driven by a student's moral decadence, which is worrying and complex, for illustration beating students to teachers who died, brawls between students, and other lawless acts; from these problems, PAI teachers play a role in improving student morale. This study describes PAI teachers' role as educators, models and role models, and evaluators in improving students' morale. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach because the researchers wanted to describe several phenomena related to the problems and problems that occurred. The results show 1) The role of the teacher as an educator in improving the morale of students at SMP N 02 AjungJember is to always explain moral values in everyday life through cults, giving a penalty, and 5 S cultural habits (smiles, greetings, Salim, polite, and courteous), 2) The role of PAI teachers as models and role models in improving students' morale, Always trying to offer good examples for students, so they give good feedback in everyday life, 3) The role of PAI teachers as evaluators in improving students' morale, mainly by providing a thorough evaluation, because evaluation discuss analytical aspects and further evaluations in affective and psychomotor aspects

    This study aims to analyze the impact of using Virtual Reality (VR) technology in Islamic education, particularly in enhancing the understanding of religious values, spiritual experiences, and active student engagement. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study examines and synthesizes relevant research findings published over the past ten years. Data were obtained from various academic journals indexed in Scopus and Sinta that discuss the integration of VR in the context of Islamic education. The analysis was carried out by evaluating the effectiveness, challenges, and pedagogical implications of VR use.The findings show that VR can create immersive and interactive learning environments, thereby increasing students’ learning interest and conceptual understanding in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) subjects. VR has also proven effective in delivering abstract content—such as the Isra Mi’raj journey, the atmosphere of Hajj rituals, or the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)—through visual and narrative means, thus strengthening students' spiritual experiences.However, infrastructure limitations, implementation costs, and teachers’ readiness to integrate the technology remain major challenges. In conclusion, VR contributes positively to innovative IRE learning that is contextual and applicable. The implications of this study highlight the need for teacher training, supportive education policies, and the development of VR content based on Islamic values to optimize the effective and sustainable use of this technology in Islamic education.     Surgical treatment of sacrocoxygeal pilonidal disease. One center experience in the last 4 years

    Indexación: ScopusObjetivo: Evaluar los resultados a largo plazo en el tratamiento quirúrgico de la enfermedad pilonidal sacrocoxígea (EPS) comparando las diferentes técnicas quirúrgicas utilizadas, complicaciones, tiempo de cicatrización y recidiva. Material y método: Estudio trasversal retrospectivo. Se revisaron las fichas de los pacientes intervenidos por EPS entre enero 2017 hasta agosto 2021. Para el seguimiento se obtuvo la información desde los registros de los controles periódicos en nuestro centro y aquellos que no continuaron con estos controles se contactaron telefónicamente. Resultados: Se recopilaron 309 casos, con una media de seguimiento de 15,6 meses. Las técnicas más utilizadas para la fase crónica de EPS fueron marsupialización y Karydakis, con tiempo de cicatrización completa de 54,5 y 18,2 días, respectivamente. La presencia de complicaciones prolongó el tiempo de cicatrización en 46,5 días en Karydakis, con mínimo impacto en marsupialización. La tasa de recidiva fue menor en Karydakis y en etapa aguda cuando se realiza destechamiento y legrado. La profilaxis antibiótica no afectó el riesgo de complicaciones postoperatorias. Discusión: El desarrollo de complicaciones postoperatorias tiene mayor impacto en la cicatrización de la técnica cerrada que en la abierta, siendo esta última más tolerante en cuanto a la cicatrización frente a complicaciones. Conclusión: La intervención con técnica de Karydakis logra la cicatrización de la herida operatorio en menor tiempo que la marsupialización, sin embargo, al desarrollar complicaciones, este tiempo aumenta 3,5 veces más. La recurrencia fue menor en Karydakis. En absceso se recomienda el desteche y legrado por sobre el drenaje exclusivo.Aim: To evaluate long-term results in the surgical treatment of sacrococcygeal pilonidal disease (SPD) comparing the different surgical techniques used, complications, healing time and recurrence. Material and Method: Retrospective cross-sectional study. The files of the patients operated on for EPS between January 2017 and August 2021 were reviewed. For follow-up, information was obtained from the records of the periodic controls in our center; those who did not continue with these controls were contacted by telephone. Results: 309 cases were collected, with a mean follow-up of 15.6 months. The most used techniques for the chronic phase of EPS were marsupialization and Karydakis, achieving complete wound healing in 54.5 and 18.2 days, respectively. The presence of complications prolonged the healing time by 46.5 days in Karydakis, with minimal impact on marsupialization. The recurrence rate was lower in Karydakis and in the acute stage when unroofing and curettage were performed. Antibiotic prophylaxis did not increase the risk of postoperative complications. Discussion: The development of postoperative complications has a greater impact on the healing of the closed technique than in the open technique, the last one seems to be more tolerant in terms of healing in the presence of complications. Conclusion: The intervention with the Karydakis technique achieves healing of the surgical wound in less time than marsupialization, however, when complications develop, this time increases 3.5 times more.
