Pendekatan Kontekstualis Dalam Penafsiran Al-Qur’an (The Study Of Abdullah Saeed’s Qur’anic Interpretation)
Qur’anic Interpretation has an important place in the development of Muslim intellectual traditions and Islamic civilization in general. As a major source of Islamic teachings, Muslims have for centuries ago tried to understand the meaning of the Qur'an to fit the needs of the times, one of which is by the way of contextualization. In this case the author tries to explain the style of contextual interpretation initiated by Abdullah Saeed. In principle, Saeed explained that the tradition of interpreting the Qur'an contextually had existed since the beginning of the 1st century H and 2nd H, which was initiated by the friend of Umar Ibn al-Khattab (w.23 / 644). Because the socio-historical setting when the text of the Qur'an goes down is very possible to be interpreted contextually, so that the steps offered by Abdullah Saeed in addition to having a theoretical foundation in his interpretive style eat the steps offered by him. First, preliminary considerations (the Qur'anic world, the World of readers including life experiences and linguistic or linguistic aspects. Second, beginning the task of interpretation. Third, Identifying the meaning of the Text before interpretation includes lingistics, literature, types of texts, relationships with parallel text. Fourth, linking the interpretation of the text with the current context (understanding the context of the link, interpreting it through the next generation in succession, modern context analysis, comparison of contexts one and two, adopting relevant interpretations and checking the feasibility of interpretation
TRADISI RESEPSI AL-QUR’AN DI MASYARAKAT GEMAWANG SINDUADI MLATI YOGYAKARTA (Kajian Living Qur'an)
Islam springing of the Qur'an is understood as an ideology that gives birth to behavior in the social tradition of society. Likewise the meaning of giving birth exegesis (social interpretation). understanding and meaning of the Qur'an is called "Living Qur'an". The study of the living of the Qur'an, the author examines the tradition of the Al-Qur'an reception in the community of Gemawang Sinduadi Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. There are 3 traditional traditions of the Al-Qur'an reception, namely the tradition of exegesis receptions, aesthetic receptions and functional receptions. The typology of the study was used to observe the Qur'anic reception tradition in Gemawang Sinduadi Mlati hamlet, Sleman, Yogyakarta. What needs to be revealed from this research is about the motivation and purpose of each Qur'anic reception which is used as the basis for understanding and interpreting daily life. This research is qualitative, in the form of library studies and field studies at the same time. The author uses phenomenological analysis and content. The results obtained there are 2, namely the outer structure surface structure indicates that the community is a society that is calm in its heart and behavior (religious behavior). While the Deep Structure element or structure in the indication is a message of close relations between fellow humans who do not see race, ethnicity, religion or ethnicity.

ETIKA ILMIAH ISLAM SEBAGAI WUJUD TOLERANSI (Analisis Pemikiran Taha Jabir al-Alwani dalam Kitab Adab al-Ikhtilafi fi al Islami)
The rise of change and the behavior of society today change the distortion or differences in factors, news, and issues those are freely scattered in the mass media are no longer heard by the Indonesian people, so it becomes the people's consumption that is swallowed raw so that it starts to fix it. When people take news and information about and direct then many questions arise, it is appropriate, but the problem is all the news that comes from the mass media used to criticize and disbelieve others, this causes a variety of differences that result in the decline of humans to be able to support each other and make a difference as a mercy for all nature. All kinds of actions that cause conflict and friction between human beings are triggered by negative ideological reasoning that challenges its truth. Because reason and ideology that are formed do not show a more wise view and behavior in responding to differences. Therefore, the author wants to discuss more deeply about ethical knowledge and scientific knowledge of scientific ethics capable of realizing a tolerant attitude and understanding perspective. Of course, this author uses the Content Analysis method as the main reference in examining the views of Taha Jabir al-Alwani about attitudes and actions relating to science using interpretive-descriptive methods. Then the results obtained from scientific ethics are resolved (1). Self-awareness consists of magical, naive, critical, and transformative awareness,(2). Social awareness consists of mutual support, compilation, understanding, (3). Revolution awareness and (4). Divine Awareness is a difficult challenge to avoid because of hostility, strife, strife, termination of akin relations which is opposed by Allah
OTORITAS KEILMUAN GUS IZZA SADEWA DAN MEDIA BARU (PUTRA KH. IMRON JAMIL JOMBANG)
The study aims to uncovered the facts behind the scientific authority that was showed by Gus Izza Sadewa (the son of KH. Imron Jamil Jombang), who was only 15 years old and was able to present a scientific identity and sufism practices that was very beneficial. The author focuses on YouTube's new media as a shaping of scientific authority in the cyberculture world. The author analyzes the content analysis of some YouTube videos about Gus Izza. The content provided is manifested in aspects of contextual sufism. According to Heidi A. Campbell, there are 4 things that influence a religion or a text ideology, namely hierarchy (value), structure, ideology, and text. The results obtained from several segments of the hierarchy or values formed in the self of Gus Izza, he has Sufism and mature scientific authority, which can be proven by giving explanations about monotheism, the most important in looking for mursyhd-teachers, faith, actualizing worship that applied in daily life. All of those have the main orientation in the virtue ethics (akhlaq al-karimah)
PENAFSIRAN SUFISTIK KH. SHALIH DARAT TERHADAP Q.S. AL-BAQARAH: 183
Sufi interpretation is an important part in expressing the meaning contained in the Qur’an, there is the meaning of outer and inner meaning. The meaning of outer is the outside of textual meaning that is the spiritual area. Sufi interpretation does not mean leaving the aspect of outer or aspects of language, but at the same time combing the inner aspect, this also happens in the book of Tafsir Fayd al-Rahman by KH. Shalih Darat. The intended orientation in Sufiinterpretation is more about overcoming mental problems that often forget the essence of essential life. The inner meaning will provide added value in matters of worship, especially in the interpretation of the letter (Q.S. al-Baqarah: 183). In interpreting the verse KH. Shalih Darat interprets the Isyari, so that the essential inner meaning is obtained to express the social dimensions that encourage the birth of empathy in the family, social, and among humans. So that the container in realizing superior social dimensions in the community needs to increase fasting both in terms of dhohir and in terms of the heart. The approach taken in this study uses a sufistic approach to the theory of Sufi Ishari and Isharah method (Devine Method). The results obtained from the interpretation of the verse parse about fasting there are four things, taqwa which manifests on the dimension of divinity and the human dimension of basyariah, manifests itself in the form of love between humans, disciplined life and tazqiyah al-Nafs.Keywords: Fasting, Tafsir Faidh al-Rahman, Sufistik Logi
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
