Impact of exterior envelope thermal performance on energy demand and optimization strategies for university teaching-office buildings
Get PDFIt is very different from that of ordinary buildings due to the unique operational characteristics of university teaching-office buildings, and the energy-saving potential is huge, among them, the building’s exterior envelope is an important factor in its energy loss. It is an important basis for building energy conservation to explore the influence of the thermal parameter of the building exterior envelope on energy consumption from the perspective of thermal theory. Meanwhile, most of the buildings are old in university, limited by the actual conditions, studying the energy-saving optimization scheme from the main influencing factors and actual characteristics is a prerequisite for achieving high efficiency and energy saving. Therefore, based on the actual characteristics of university buildings, the influence law of the thermal performance of the exterior envelopes on energy demands is explored in this study through numerical simulation, and an energy-saving optimization scheme is proposed based on the existing materials. The results show that: (1) For university buildings in Chengdu, the energy-saving effect of the interior thermal insulation in exterior wall is the best; (2) the effect of insulation material type on total annual load tends to be the same as the insulation thickness is increased and stabilizes after the energy savings rate reaches 20%; (3) the selection of facing materials with low solar radiation absorption coefficients for exterior wall and roof has a much higher impact on cooling loads than on heating loads; (4) the suitable range of the heat transfer coefficient of the exterior window is 2.5 ~ 3.5, and the solar heat gain coefficient is 0.1 ~ 0.5; (5) using the optimization scheme can be saved by 18% of the heating load, 33% of the cooling load, and 28% of the total load compared to the status quo. Get PDFLev Vladimirovich Cherepnin was expelled from the graduate school of the Institute of History of the Russian Association of Research Institutes of Social Sciences in 1929. The article examines the phenomenon the existence and energetic activity from among non-Marxist’s postgraduate students-historians in the USSR in the 1920s. It is based on the fact that Lev Vladimirovich Cherepnin’s expulsion from the graduate school of the of the Institute of History of the Russian Association of Research Institutes of Social Sciences in 1929. By the time of his expulsion, Cherepnin was engaged in scientific and archival work under the guidance of A. I. Yakovlev and S. B. Veselovsky, had unorthodox views on the methodology of history, within which he admitted the possibility of synthesizing Marxism with the M. Weber’s ideas. The views of some of the graduate students, which differed from the Marxist position, were generally known in the party structures, but were not perceived until a certain time as something requiring radical measures. However, the XV Congress of the Bolshevik Party proclaimed the intensification of the struggle on the ideological and cultural lines. Soon articles were written by B. F. Porshnev and V. Z. Zeltser signaled that Marx’s ideas were taboo for some of the postgraduate students. In 1928–1929, criticism unfolded against the Institute of History of the Russian Association of Research Institutes of Social Sciences, which resulted in an inspection of the institution, related to claims to the non-Marxist training of some postgraduate students, Cherepnin became a person who were attacked because of their scientific views and were subsequently excluded from graduate school without the right to submit a dissertation. An analysis of the course of Cherepnin’s exclusion suggests that the historians of the Russian Association of Research Institutes of Social Sciences’s Institute of History of the old school, based on representatives of the Moscow Historical School, conducted not only active scientific activities, but also made efforts to preserve their community

No full textСтатья рассматривает проблему перевода региолектов в сказах П. П. Бажова, насыщенных уральскими диалектизмами и фольклорными элементами. Анализируются особенности уральского диалекта и методы его передачи на английский: эквивалентный перевод, генерализация, нейтрализация, описательный перевод и опущение. На примере переводов Евы Мэннинг выявляются их преимущества и недостатки. Особое внимание уделяется адаптации безэквивалентной лексики и сохранению культурного контекста. Автор отмечает, что полная передача регионального колорита невозможна, но комбинированные методы помогают минимизировать потери.The article explores the challenges of translating regiolects in P. P. Bazhov’s skazy, which are rich in Ural dialectisms and folklore elements. It analyzes the characteristics of the Ural dialect and the methods used to convey it in English, such as equivalent translation, generalization, neutralization, descriptive translation, and omission. Using Eva Manning’s translations as examples, the study highlights the advantages and drawbacks of each approach. Special attention is given to the adaptation of non-equivalent vocabulary and the preservation of cultural context. The author emphasizes that while a complete transfer of regional color is impossible, combined methods help minimize losses
