Ce2Sn2O7/CNFs Composite as a Material for Gas Sensors and Supercapacitors

Available online: 30.09.2025.It was demonstrated that hydrothermal synthesis results in the formation of singlephase cerium stannate Ce2Sn2O7 with a pyrochlore structure in the form of wellfaceted cubic crystals.The use of modified carbon nanofibers in Ce2Sn2O7/CNFs composites improved gassensitive characteristics.Ce2Sn2O7/CNFs composites with modified carbon nanofibers demonstrated promising electrochemical characteristics for use in supercapacitors.Cerium stannate Ce2Sn2O7 was obtained by the hydrothermal method from a mixture of cerium (III) nitrate and sodium stannate solutions with the addition of sodium hydroxide solution to pH 8–9. The phase composition of the hydrothermal synthesis product was studied using thermal anlysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. It was found that at a synthesis temperature of 180 °C, a single-phase cerium stannate with a pyrochlore structure, the particles of which have a cubic shape of 2–5 μm in size, is formed. It was shown that the response of the Ce2Sn2O7/CNFs composite to NO2 at room temperature is 41% at 10 ppm. The composite material demonstrated the possibility of its application in supercapacitors, showing a specific capacitance of 165–200 F/g at 2 mV/s. It was found that the specific capacitance of the Ce2Sn2O7/CNFs composite significantly exceeds that of single-phase cerium stannate.The work was carried out in accordance with the state task of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia (project FSUN-2023-0008)

The authors begin by defining the concept of leafleting, emphasizing its main characteristics, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. Based on the survey data conducted among representatives of various age groups, the real effectiveness of this method of disseminating information and attracting customers is assessed. Attention is also focused on the analysis of the key risks associated with the use of leafleting. Ways to minimize these risks are proposed that will help increase the effectiveness of leafleting and improve its perception by consumers

It helps develop key skills such as effective communication, empathy and teamwork, which are critical for future mid-level medical workers. A study conducted at the Sverdlovsk Regional Medical College showed that volunteering has a positive effect on students’ professional identity, increases their emotional stability and reduces anxiety before starting a career. Thus, volunteer work becomes a significant stage in the preparation of sensitive and qualified medical workers
