Analisis Etika dalam Pengungkapan Sebuah Kasus: Gambaran dalam Film
Full text linkEtika merupakan studi filsafat yang dapat memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan berbagai bidang, salah satunya dalam sistem peradilan pidana. Kepolisian sebagai salah satu praktisi peradilan seharusnya memiliki karakter moral yang lebih tinggi dari masyarakat. Namun, seorang petugas polisi dapat dihadapkan pada dilema etis tertentu yang dapat membawa mereka pada tindakan yang tidak bermoral dan ilegal, seperti yang ditampilkan dalam film “2014: Siapa di atas Presiden”. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis melakukan analisis pada subkultur dalam kepolisian yang tergambar dalam film tersebut. Adanya solidaritas dan loyalitas yang terbentuk di dalam anggota kepolisian dapat menjadi bagian dari subkultur polisi yang akan menyebabkan perilaku tidak etis petugas polisi, mempengaruhi kinerja polisi, mengurangi kredibilitas kinerja polisi dalam mengungkap suatu kasus kejahatan, dan pada akhirnya menimbulkan ketidakpercayaan masyarakat pada kinerja polisi
Pencurian Identitas Digital Sebagai Bentuk Cyber Related Crime
Full text linkPencurian data merupakan salah satu bentuk kejahatan yang menjadi isu hangat belakangan ini. Pencurian data yang dahulu dilakukan secara konvensional kini dapat dilakukan dengan lebih mudah melalui bantuan medium computer dan internet. Tulisan ini ingin membahas tentang isu cyber related crime yaitu pencurian data digital yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang fintech, khususnya pinjaman daring ilegal. Mereka akan menyalahgunakan data pribadi milik debitor yang akan memberikan kerugian bagi debitor tersebut. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengambil data dari berbagai sumber berita yang ada di internet.Kata kunci: Kejahatan, cyber crime, cyber related crime, pencurian data digital, pinjaman online illegal
Penyelesaian Konflik Lahan antara Pemda DKI Jakarta dengan Warga: Pendekatan Perspektif Peacemaking Criminology (Studi Kasus CAP 16 Kampung)
Full text linkAbstractEviction is phenomenon that happens in city livelihood related to city and human life development. In practice, eviction could lead to conflicts and social injury in which it causes reactions from the victims. CAP 16 Kampung is one of the reactions, in which the victims started a coalition to demand their participation in city development. CAP 16 Kampung process that involves dialogs and participatory actions are in line with Peacemaking Criminology perspective. From Peacemaking Criminology approach, CAP 16 Kampung in the evicted Kampung Akuarium fares much better due the already existing empathy and their affirmation actions about their shared fate as evicted victims. The other kampung, Kampung Muara Baru that yet to be evicted doesn’t have the same degree of success because they didn’t share the same threat as Akuarium did and there is no solid affirmation from them due the lacks of empathy being built.Keywords: Forced Eviction, Social Injury, Social Movement, Peacemaking Criminology, CAP 16 Kampun
Crime as Culture dalam Novel Pulang Karya Tere Liye: Kekerasan oleh Keluarga Tong sebagai Organized Crime Group
Full text linkNovel Pulang karya Tere Liye menceritakan tentang Keluarga Tong sebagai salah satu organized crime group di suatu negara. Keluarga Tong dengan para anggotanya menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam kelangsungan dan usaha pengembangan organisasi mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan kesesuaian penggunaan kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh Keluarga Tong dengan penggunaan kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh organized crime groups di dunia nyata dengan mengacu pada konsep crime as culture. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis isi novel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua hal. Pertama, penggunaan kekerasan oleh Keluarga Tong memiliki sebagian besar kesesuaian dengan penggunaan kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh organized crime groups pada umumnya. Kedua, penggunaan kekerasan oleh Keluarga Tong merupakan bentuk dari crime as culture
Bitcoin dalam Perspektif Kejahatan Siber: Analisis Kriminologi berbasis posmodern
Full text linkThis scientific work is created to determine whether ontologically the existence of bitcoin can be classified as crime. Bitcoin is a virtual money that was originally created to simplify the process of financial transactions through the virtual world. There are many factors influencing the rapid growing use of Bitcoin, as its exchange rates tend to always increase significantly, so Bitcoin becomes a lucrative investment tool. The rise of the use of Bitcoin as a means of financial transactions on the internet also trigger the emergence of negative reactions such as the emergence of cyber crimes, because the existence of Bitcoin simplify cyber criminals to conduct illegal activities, such as transactions of human organs, drug trafficking, the practicing of money laundering. If the phenomenon of Bitcoin is analyzed by the explanation of cyber crime based on postmodern criminology, ontologically, the use of Bitcoin as a means of illegal transactions is a crime.Keywords: Bitcoin; Cyber crime; Money-laundring; Postmodernism Criminology; Space Transition Theory

Full text linkThis bachelor thesis tries to explain policies which have been using by BP Indonesia's Security Department as part of multinational oil company to prevent BP Indonesia's Employees from being victimized. Preventing BP Indonesia's Employees from being victimized enable them to show their best and BP Indonesia can regain benefit. Researcher used qualitative method in order to get an in depth and precise data. In order to get an in depth and current analyzes, participant observation, secondary data search, interviews and assessments had been used by researcher. In depth and collaborative analyzed had been used by researcher according to criminological theories such as security management theory, situational crime prevention and social crime prevention theory. Findings suggest that BP Indonesia Security Department have done their job so well that they don't have to increase their security breach in order to prevent the worst. According to experiences and recommendations from BP Indonesia's employees, technical methods needs to be upgraded for the sake of employees comfort
GLOBALISASI DAN PERPINDAHAN LINTAS BATAS LIMBAH BERBAHAYA
Full text link This paper is pondering about trafficking of dangerous waste across border. The reason why such act considered to be a harmful act to community health and environment since many industrious and developed countries were willing to pay a lot of money for undeveloped countries to be their dumping ground. This explains why many undeveloped countries tend to receive such dangerous waste. Trafficking of dangerous waste from developed to undeveloped countries exists in two form, cargo and trade. Cargo means that trafficking dangerous waste across border were considered to be illegal. Trade means that it was conducted through a legal mechanism. This paper explains such phenomenon by linking economic and political powers through the used of dependentia and world system theory. In concluding remark, it is recommended that industry from developed countries must produced, recycled and reused material on components it manufactured so it will not harm the environment. And for the undeveloped countries are expected to be consistent with the Basel Convention which banned receiving such dangerous waste. 
UPAYA PENANGGULANGAN PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOBA OLEH KEPOLISIAN (STUDI KASUS SATUAN NARKOBA POLRES METRO BEKASI)
Full text linkThe large number of illegal drugs use in the society was because the drugs trade still rising. The city of Bekasi has become a market for drug trade. The large number of cases can be seen through cases that being handled by the Bekasi Police Metropolitan Resort Anti Drug Unit. This study was exploring every aspect on how the Bekasi Police Metropolitan Resort Anti Drug Unit handles the drug problem which threatens the city of Bekasi. The Bekasi Police Anti Drug Unit handles the drug problem on its jurisdiction in three important efforts. The pre-emptive done as early as possible in form of informal seminar and local counseling to the society about the dangerous effect of illegal drug use. The preventive effort was implementing through series of Routine Police Operation and Special Police Operation. While the repressive efforts were law enforcement action through criminal investigation and indictment which rooted within legality aspect. Each effort still encounters several problems, such as lack of personnel, insufficient equipment, breach of information and lack of operational funds.

Full text linkThis research is a study about investigative function given to NNB (National Narcotics Board) since 12th October 2009. Based on 75th article of Laws Number 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics, the NNB has the rights to investigate, something that used to be done only by investigators of Police Department. This research is about description of the process of investigation by NNB’s detective since the law is implemented, and their relationship with other investigator from Police Department. This Research uses descriptive qualitative approach, where the data collection is done by using literature study, Interview, and observation to NNB. This research concludes that the NNB’s investigators has done their functions according to 75th article of the law, even though there are still some obstacles need to repaired to improve the performance of NNB’s investigators
IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN RISIKO KEJAHATAN PERAMPOKAN PADA PENGIRIMAN UANG TUNAI (Studi Kasus Pengiriman Hasil Pendapatan PT ABC Cabang X)
Full text linkThe purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of robbery crime risk management in cash delivery, especially in relation to income delivery of PT ABC Branch of X, which is an Indonesian Highway Corporation. The result shows that PT ABC has been implementing crime risk management in its income delivery. PT ABC decided on risk transfer methods. It is the transferring of income to tol collection bank, which is Bank XYZ Branch of A, and cash in transit insurance. Because of lack in human resources, Bank XYZ transfers the operationalization to PT KJA. This methods is cost effective, because of the compensation of PT ABC’s role as costumer of Bank XYZ. In its operationalization, PT ABC found the barrier to control it directly. Controlling its operation will be easier to reach if toll collection bank could operationalize independently. Hopefully, crime risk management methods could be applied by other companies which its business characteristics is similar with PT ABC, to reach cost efficiency.
