Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the risk of rice production and income of rice farmer households in Simpang Asam Village Banjit District Way Kanan Regency. This study is a survey involving 65 farmers who were selected by using simple random sampling. The primary and secondary data were collected from February to April 2018. The rice production risk is analyzed by calculating variances, standard deviations, and variance coefficients. Household income of rice farmers are obtained from the calculation of income from main farming activity, other farming activities, and non farming activities. The results showed that the production risk was considered in a low category with CV value of. 023. Farmer households income was IDR43,694,613.85, coming from main farming 43.04 percent, other farming 39.25 percent, and non farming activities 17.70 percent.Key words: household income, rice farmers, risk of rice productio
ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI DAN BIAYA POKOK PRODUKSI PADI RAWA LEBAK DI DESA SERIJABO KECAMATAN SUNGAI PINANG KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
Get PDFThis research aims at determining the farm income and main production cost of rice on lowland swamp in Serijabo Village Sungai Pinang Sub-District. This field research was conducted in February-March 2019. The location was one of central productions in Sungai Pinang Sub-District. The sample size was 51 rice farmers who were selected using simple random sampling method. The data were analyzed by using farm income and main production cost analysis with 95 percent of confidence level. The study showed that the biggest average production of rice was 4,446.35 kg per ha per year with the average of farm income of IDR3,655,271.77. The main production cost of rice per kilogram was IDR825,70 over cash costs and IDR3,682.70 per kg over total costs with 95 percent of confidence level between IDR2,.987.13 per kg and IDR4,335.80 per kg of rice.Key words: farming, income, lowland, production cost, ric
ANALISIS PROFITABILITAS OLAHAN KOPI ROBUSTA SEBAGAI PRODUK UNGGULAN KOPERASI TIRTO KENCONO DI KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze income and profitability of processed robusta coffee as a superior product in Tirto Kencono Cooperative. The research method used in this study is a case study. Respondents in this study were manager, suppliers and all people related in the robusta coffee processing unit. The research wasconducted at the Tirto Kencono Cooperative located in Talang 20 Village, Air Naningan Sub-District,Tanggamus District. Data collection was conducted in February 2019 and analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research showed that the four products were viable and feasible because the R/C values were more than one on cash costs and total costs. Four products have profitability ratio of more than 0% with the highest profitability ratio was obtained by Green Coffee T20 product (77.40%) and the lowest product was Gendis Coffee T20 (21.24%).Key words : income, profitability, robusta coffe

Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the level of income and welfare of organic and inorganic rice farmers households in Pringsewu and Pardasuka Sub-District. This research used a case study method in Pringsewu and Pardasuka Sub-District, Pringsewu Regency purposively with consideration that the area is a regional pioneer of organic rice farming in Lampung Province and has obtained SNI certification from the government. The total samples were 37 farmers consisted of 17 organic rice farmers and 20 inorganic rice farmers. The data were collected in April-June 2018 and analyzed by farm income analysis, household income analysis, and welfare analysis based on BPS’s criteria (2014). The results showed that the average household income of organic and inorganic rice farmers in Pringsewu and Pardasuka Sub-Districts are IDR 21,520,505.88 per year and IDR18,785,344.38 per year. Based on BPS’s criteria, as many as 88.24% and70% households of organic and inorganic rice farmers are included in the already prosperous category.Key words: household welfare, inorganic rice, income, organic ric
ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI DAN PEMASARAN SAYURAN UNGGULAN DI KAWASAN AGROPOLITAN KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the benefits of vegetable farming and preparation of vegetable farming strategy development. The research was conducted in Agropolitan Area of Tanggamus Regency which was chosen purposively. The respondents were 48 farmers and 18 traders. The first objective is analyzed quantitatively using income analysis and R/C. The second objective is analyzed descriptively by using marketing analysis. The results showed that vegetable farming profit in Agropolitan Area of Tanggamus Regency is feasible and profitable with value of R/C > 1. Chili Vegetable is a superior commodity on the income level of farmers. The marketing system of the vegetable in agropolitan region in Tanggamus Dictritc was not efficient since the margin profit ratio in each marketing organization is not even, and the price difference in each marketing organization is too large. PARTISIPASI PETANI DALAM PROGRAM UPSUS PAJALE DI KECAMATAN RAWA JITU SELATAN KABUPATEN TULANG BAWANG
Get PDFThis study aims to examine the implementation, the level of farmers’ participation, and factors related to the level of participation in the Upsus Pajale program in South Rawa Jitu Sub-District of Tulang Bawang Regency. This study data was collected in January-February 2017 by envolving 54 farmers’ respondents. This study was conducted by survey method and its data was analyzed descriptively and statistically by Rank Spearman Correlation. The results showed that factors related to farmers’ participation in Upsus Pajale Program were production, group communication behavior and intensity of program socialization. Farmers' participation in planning activity was mostly (59,26%) in moderate category, participation in implementation activity was mostly (83,3%) in high category, participation in monitoring and evaluation activities was low (46,3%) and participation in the utilization of development outcomes was high (100%). In overall, most of farmers' participation in Upsus Pajale program in Rawa Jitu Selatan sub District wass moderate (48,15%) .Key words: farmer, participation, Upsus Pajal
ANALISIS KINERJA PELAYAN KOPERASI KEPADA ANGGOTA DAN STRATEGI PENGEMBANGANNYA (STUDI KASUS KUD USAHA BERSAMA DI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG UTARA)
Get PDFThis research aimed to analyze the economic benefit the members received from KUD Usaha Bersama (Usaha Bersama Village Unit Cooperatives) and the cooperatives’ economic benefit contribution to its members’ household income, the household income of the cooperatives’ members, and to develop an alternative strategy of developing KUD Usaha Bersama further. This research was taken place in KUD Usaha Bersama in Trimodadi Village of Abung Selatan Sub District of Lampung Utara Regency selected purposively. This research employed case study method. Data of this research was collected in March 2016. The data related to cooperatives was obtained from cooperatives’ administrators, while that related to operation performance was obtained from 72 cooperatives’ members as the respondents selected by simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the economic benefit the members received from cooperatives were still relatively low, in which the contribution of such the economic benefit on the members’ household income was small in percentage. The household income of KUD Usaha Bersama members belonged to low category based on Indonesian National Revenue Standar. the strategy that could be taken for developing KUD Usaha Bersama was growth strategy including optimizing the capital circulation by means of utilizing the community feeling helped with the presence of cooperatives, using many business units corresponding to the community’s need in order to help the community by the presence of cooperatives, and optimizing the capital circulation by utilizing more modern technology. Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the household income’s structure and distribution, and the household welfare level among cooperatives members, in addition to analyze factors that affected the household welfare of cooperative members. This research employed case study method. The data was collected from September to October 2016. The research respondents were 55 people who were all members of KSUP MDIT. The data was consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by observation and interview; while secondary data was obtained from the agencies and literatures associated with the study. The data was analyzed by income analysis, income distribution analysis, welfare analysis and binnary logistic regression analysis. The result showed that the biggest member of cooperative member's household income structure in the latest year was non livestock earnings of On Farm followed by non farm income, goat business income and off farm income. Distribution of household member income of cooperatives were in low inequality. Based on Socio Metrix indicator, 70.91% cooperative members’ households were included in prosperous category and the remaining 29.09% were not prosperous and old variables of education, length of membership, and household income have a positive effect on welfare level.Key words: distribution income, prosperity of members, incom
ANALISIS SEKTOR BASIS DAN USAHATANI IKAN AIR TAWAR SEBAGAI KOMODITAS UNGGULAN DI KECAMATAN PAGELARAN KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the base commodity and income levels of freshwater fish farmers. The research is conducted by survey method in which location was chosen purposively at Pagelaran and Lugusari Villages, Pagelaran Subdistrict of Pringsewu Regency with consideration that the location are the central of freshwater fish production (minapolitan areas). The samples are 44 freshwater fish farmers who are members of fish farmers group with farming experience of more than five years. The data was collected in June to July 2017 and is analyzed by Location Quotient (LQ) analysis to determine base commodity and fish farming analysis to identify income level of freshwater fish farmers. The result of LQ analysis and fish farming analysis showed that the main base commodity was goldfish with LQ score 1,18 and the highest income level from three business focus (breeding business, enlargement business, also the breeding and enlargement business of goldfish) was an enlargement business of goldfish with an income value of Rp1,556,440.29/1,000 m2/month.Key words: base sector, freshwater fish, goldfish, income, main commodit
