    DEVELOPING NUTMEG OIL DISTILLATION VIDEO AS AN ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MATERIAL FOR CRAFT AND ENTERPRENEUR SUBJECT MATTER IN SMAN 1 PASIE RAJA

    The purpose of this study was to develop a video of nutmeg oil distillation as an alternative material for craft and entrepreneurship subjects for class XI SMA N 1 Pasie Raja. This study is research and development (RD) with the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry (1996). The videos that have been successfully made have gone through the ADDIE stage, namely validation by media experts and material experts with an average score of 88.9% and 88.5%, respectively, so that the material and media aspects are categorized as very good. The learning video is applied in the classroom by showing it; teachers and students gave positive responses of 100% and 88.14%, both of which were categorized as very good. The score of students' understanding of the learning video media obtained an average percentage of 79.47% and was categorized as good. Video learning of nutmeg oil refining is appropriate to be used as a medium of learning in the subjects of crafts and entrepreneurship

    DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENTIFIC LITERRACY BASED MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS ON THE CONCEPT OF MOLE

    Research has been conducted on "the development of multiple choice questions based on scientific literacy on the concept of mole material". The purpose of this study was to find out how to develop questions based on scientific literacy on the concept of the mole, how to test the validity, reliability of questions based on scientific literacy and how students respond / respond to multiple choice questions based on scientific literacy. The type of research used is research and development (R D) with a 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The target subjects in this study are Chemistry FKIP students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and test results. The research instrument used was an interview sheet, a questionnaire sheet and a multiple choice question sheet based on scientific literacy with a total of 20 questions that had been validated by 2 validators. The results of qualitative data validity analysis from the validation of the items, the percentage of each was above 80% with very high criteria and declared valid and the questions were feasible to use. While the quantitative data validity analysis the resulting percentage as a whole is 65% low category, 25% moderate category and 10% high category with a reliability coefficient value of 0.828 including very high and reliable categories. The results of the analysis of the responses obtained an average value of 78, meaning that the 30 students were more dominant in giving a positive response to the questions

    IMPLEMENTATION OF BLENDED LEARNING TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES ON THE CONCEPT OF REACTION RATE

    This study aims to observe activities, learning outcomes and describe students' responses to blended learning on the concept of reaction rate. This is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 29 USK Chemistry Education students who programmed the Basic Chemistry II course in class 02 of the 2018/2019 academic year. Data were collected through tests, observations and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were learning outcomes test questions, student activity observation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of observation of student activities are categorized as very good, learning outcomes are included in the good category with a score of 73.7. The application of blended learning received positive responses (71.7%). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of blended learning on the reaction rate material had a positive impact on learning activities and outcomes and received good responses from students

    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS GOOGLE SLIDE PADA MATA PELAJARAN KIMIA SMA KELAS X MATERI STRUKTUR ATOM

    The research entitled "Development of Google Slide-Based Interactive Learning Media on Chemistry Subjects in Class X High School Materials on Atomic Structure", has been carried out using Research and Development (RD) research types and the ADDIE model. The purpose of this study is to develop a google slide learning media that is proven to be suitable for use. The google slide-based learning media on atomic structure material was tested for feasibility by expert validators (media and materials) and students of MAS Darussyari'ah, Banda Aceh city. The instrument in this study was a media feasibility questionnaire sheet and student response sheets. The results of data analysis showed that the google slide media was very feasible to use with the percentage of media feasibility validation results of 93%. Students responses to the media showed a positive response with a percentage of 86.37% which was categorized as very good. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the Google Slide media is very suitable to be used as a learning medium and received positive responses from students

    APPLICATION OF ONLINE LEARNING ON ACID-BASE TITRATION TOPIC TO IMPROVE STUDENTS LEARNING INTEREST

    Students' interest in learning chemistry, especially in acid-base titration material during the pandemic, makes the learning process ineffective, students tend to be quiet and not interested in learning. The application of learning that can be used during a pandemic is online learning. This study aims to measure students' interest in learning through the application of online learning and to describe student learning activities and student reactions to the application of online learning. The type of research used is quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods and the One Group Posttest-Only Design. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Banda Aceh with 28 students in class XI MIA 4 taking samples using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data through observation sheets of learning activities and student learning interest questionnaires. The output of the study showed that there were learning activities in the good category with an average value of 90% and 93% observed by the observer. The application of online learning can be used during the current pandemic, seen from the responses of students in the good category with an average score of 76.67. The level of student interest in learning before the application of online learning was 65.71%, after the application of online learning obtained very good results of 77.08%. N-Gain score obtained 32.51 which is included in the medium category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of online learning can increase students' interest in learning.Keywords: Online, interest in Learning, Google Classroom, Acid-Base Titratio

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran program simulasi ekstraksi pelarut dan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada logam lantanida menggunakan ekstraktan 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone berbasis Microsoft Excel, serta menguji kelayakan dan tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (RD), dengan tujuh langkah yaitu; (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi desain, (6) uji coba produk, dan (7) revisi produk. Instrumen penilaian terdiri dari angket kelayakan media, angket tanggapan mahasiswa dan angket system usability scale (SUS). Penelitian dilakukan kepada 25 orang mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Media yang diuji coba kepada mahasiswa telah divalidasi oleh validator dengan persen kelayakan sebesar 85,00% dan kategori sangat layak. Respons mahasiswa terhadap media ini sangat baik dengan rata-rata 88,35%, dan skor SUS yang didapat sebesar 85,30 dengan kategori dapat diterima, artinya program simulasi berbasis Microsoft Excel ini dapat digunakan untuk mensimulasi praktikum mengenai ekstraksi pelarut dan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada logam lantanida menggunakan ekstraktan 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone

    DEVELOPMENT OF BULLETIN AS A LEARNING MEDIA ON ELECTROLYTE AND NON-ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION MATERIALS IN CLASS X MAS DARUL IHSAN ACEH BESAR

    This study aims to develop, analyze the feasibility and describe the responses of students and teachers according to the newsletter learning media on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material. This type of this research is (Research and Development/ RD). The newsletter learning media developed in this study according to ADDIE model which has five stages: (1) analysis, (2) design,(3) Development (4) Implementation and (5) Evaluation. This research was conducted at the school of MAS Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar with 3 chemistry teachers and 31 students taken from class X. The appropriateness of the newsletter media was assessed by the research supervisor. The percentage of teacher and student responses to the newsletter media that was developed was 97.22% and 83.97% with the very good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the developed newsletter media is very suitable for use in the learning process of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials

    POTENTIAL ANALYSIS OF MOSQUE WUDHU WASTE AS A PICOHYDRO POWER PLANT

    Ablution is a ritual activity that is quite important in the implementation of prayer. The amount of waste water produced by Ablution activities is large and the reserves are abundant. It is estimated that in one month a mosque with 4325 visitors per week who performs ablution produces 86.5 m3/person/month of ablution waste. This potential waste can be used for various purposes such as watering plants, or aquaculture, and as a pico hydro power plant. The Pico hydro power plant is a term used for hydroelectric power generation capacities below 5 KVA or even smaller, ranging from 200-300 VA. Pico hydro can be generated from a turbine, which is rotated by the natural water flow at a minimum of one meter inclination, the power generated is not too large and is suitable for simple electrical equipment. Ablution waste has the potential to be developed as a pico hydro power plant

    It has been conducted a research entitled "enforcement analysis of the works in chemistry studies at Banda Aceh high school." The purpose of this study is to analyse the practice of chemistry studies in all high schools in Banda Aceh. The kind of research used was descriptive research with a survey approach. This research was conducted at high school in Banda Aceh. The reasons for the selection of a research facility, based on observations of high school researchers in the city of Banda Aceh is still lack of practical activities. The population in this study are all the teachers of chemistry in Banda Aceh high school of 78 people. The sample used in this study is twenty five of chemistry teachers. The selection of samples is conducted in a random sampling way by the researchers' consideration that the sample was considered homogeneous since high school at Banda Aceh was accredited to A. Data collection techniques were carried out by a wider distribution of questionnaires. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Based on research done on the implementation of the practice in chemistry at the high school of Banda Aceh, it could be concluded that the performance of the law in chemical study at the city high school of BandaAceh was perfectly great with an average percentage of what obtained was 88%

    APPLICATION OF QUIPPER SCHOOL-BASED BLENDED LEARNING TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' MOTIVATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN ACID-BASED MATERIALS AT SMAN 5 BANDA ACEH

    This research aims to investigate the increase in learning motivation, learning outcomes, learning activities, and student responses to blended learning on acid-base material through Quipper School. The research subjects of class XI MIA 1 students of SMAN 5 Banda Aceh for the 2021/2022 academic year are even semesters involving 32 students. The data collection technique uses a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were learning outcomes test questions, motivational questionnaire sheets, activity observation sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. Analysis of learning motivation data using motivational questionnaires adapted from MSLQ using a likert scale, learning outcomes data using LKPD and tests (pretest-postest), activity data using activity sheets and response data collected through questionnaire sheets. The results showed that there was a change in the previous 63.67%, learning motivation after the blended learning process, the students learning motivation became 68,15%, this happened in Quipper School-based blended learning. The average completeness of student learning is 80, including the very high category. The positive response of student to blended learning was 72.2%. The activities of students during blended learning get an average score of 95%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of blended learning can change learning motivation and exceed the KKM of student learning outcomes at SMAN 5 Banda Aceh
