PENERAPAN METODE TEAM TEACHING PADA MATERI IKATAN KIMIA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X SMAN 9 TUNAS BANGSA BANDA ACEH
This descriptive qualitative study aims to determine the activities of students and teacher as well as the ability to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of team teaching method in the concept of chemical bonds. The subjects were 32 students of class X-1 SMAN 9 Tunas Bangsa Banda Aceh consisting of 18 female and 14 male. The data was collected through observation of students activity and teachers activity in implementing team teaching methods as well as providing a test at the end of the meeting. Data obtained from the observation suggests that the activity of students at each meeting (1st, 2nd and 3rd) increase significantly at 66.07%, 76.79% and 87.5%. Based on the observation, the ability of teachers in the implementation of team teaching increased from 73.44% in first meeting to 81.25% in the second meeting and 90.63% in the third meeting. Learning outcomes of students also increased as follows 62.5% (1st meeting), 81.25% (2nd meeting) and 93.75% (3rd meeting). Based on the results of study, it is can be concluded that the implementation of team teaching method can improve learning outcomes as well as student activity and the ability of teachers to implementing instructional material in the chemical bonds at SMAN 9 Tunas Bangsa Banda Ace
KESTABILAN ZAT WARNA ALAMI DARI UMBI KETELA UNGU (Ipomoea batatas)
Researcher has conducted a study on the stability of natural pigments which is derived from sweet potato (Ipomea batatas). The aim of this study was to determine the stability of natural pigments from sweet potato of the variation of heating temperature, long warm-up, long storage and long exposure to sunlight. The populations of this study those fresh sweet potatoes ibaraki varieties as much as 2 kg. The samples used in this study were 100 grams of sweet potatos that have been peeled and grated, then be extracted with 20 mL of distilled water at a temperature of 50 0C and blended so that it became a slurry and then squeezed, then do the identification of anthocyanin compounds in the sample. The extract of sweet potato at pH 6 measured the wavelength of maximum, then anthocyanin concentration was calculated using the pH-differential method. Further, it was tested the stability of the dye to the variation of heating temperature, long warm-up, long storage and long exposure to sunlight at a wavelength of maximum. The results showed that at pH 6 sweet potatos have a wavelength of 536 nm and concentraining anthocyanin with 10,02 mgL-1 of concentrations. Stability of the dye from sweet potatos extracts to heating temperature variation decreased absorbance values by an average of 0,004, a decreased of the heating value of the average absorbance of 0,008 and of storage duration decreased the absorbance values by an average of 0,007. Whereas long exposure to sunlight absorbance values increased by an average of 0,009. The conclution of the researche is the intensity of sweet potatoes extract color was reduced to the variation of heating temperature, heating time and saving time. The intensity of yams extract color increased to along exposure of sunlight
PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM SOLVING PADA MATERI SIFAT KOLIGATIF LARUTAN DI MAN MODEL BANDA ACEH TAHUN AJARAN 2012/2013
The research about Application Problem Solving Approach to content colligative properties of solution in MAN Model Banda Aceh aims to determine student learning yield, student activities, and student responses after given problem solving approach used in learning. The subjects of the research were 32 students of class XII-IA2 MAN Model Banda Aceh in academic year 2012/2013, with heterogenous acchivement. Data collection was conducted through written tests and observations. Based on objective tests given after the study ended, student learning yield was obtained very good with the level of completeness of 96.67%. Activity of student suggests that a good percentage of the activity (79.82%). The response of students to the problem solving approach learning shows that students gave a positive response is very good (91.52%). Thus, it is conclused that applying of problem solving approach to the material colligative properties of solution can increase student learning yield, activities, and student motivation
