    Students who do not live in a family environment have a greater burden and responsibility independently. In pesantren there are rules that are more binding and strict, especially for new students who need an adaptation process. This study aims to analyze the relationship between religiosity and self-adjustment. This type of research is a quantitative research that uses analytics with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was 302 students in Pondok Pesantren with a sample size of 91 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research instruments used were the Relief of Islam Scale and the Social Adaptation to College Questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha 0.89-0.95; 0.66-0.81). Test the research ethics by the KEPK FKG UNEJ. The results showed a religiosity value of 95.21 (± 48.29) and self-adjustment 386.49 (± 64,260). And there is a relationship between religiosity and self-adjustment to students (p = 0,000; r = 0,465; CI: 95%) which shows that the higher the value of religiosity, the better the adjustment in Islamic boarding schools. Religiosity in students is realized in the form of obtaining religious knowledge and practices that have been instilled since the womb.     More nutritional status occurs because of an imbalance between energy intake and energy expenditure. High energy intake is the result of excessive food consumption, while low energy expenditure is the result of a lack of physical activity. The sedentary lifestyle has increased during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Sedentary lifestyle triggers the risk of overweight and obesity in adolescents. This research uses an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach which aims to determine the relationship between sedentary lifestyle and nutritional status of adolescents. Respondents in this study were adolescents aged 13-15 years. The number of samples was 70 respondents used purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was the Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire (ASAQ) and measurement of nutritional status using standard anthropometric z-score tables to assess nutritional status in children aged 5-18 years. This study obtained the results of the Spearman rank test, obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.470, which means that there is a significant and unidirectional relationship with moderate strength between the sedentary lifestyle and the nutritional status of adolescents. It can be concluded that with increasing sedentary lifestyle, nutritional status will also increase. Sedentary lifestyle is a factor associated with overweight status because low physical activity causes fat accumulation due to not burning calories. &nbsp

    Healthcare workers play the role as the front line in treating COVID-19 patients, so they are at risk of being exposed by this virus therefor it is necessary to always maintain health and increase their immunity. One way is taking supplements or traditional medicines. The behavior of taking supplements or traditional medicines is influenced by knowledge and attitudes. The purpose of this study was to determinate the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of using supplements and traditional medicines among healthcare workers in Jember during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design involving 376 healthcare workers in Jember selected by convenience sampling method.The data collection instruments was questionnaires. The results showed that the majority of respondents had good knowledge (52.1%) and moderate attitudes (59.0%). Sociodemographic factors that influence knowledge are level of education and the type of healthcare worker, while the factors that influence attitudes are age, level of education, type of health worker, and working time. There is a significant relationship (p≤0.05) between knowledge and attitudes which can be concluded that knowledge influences attitudes towards the use of supplements and/or traditional medicines &nbsp

    Infancy (0-6 months) is a golden period as well as a critical period because at this time a process of rapid growth and development occurs and requires a lot of care and precision in the parenting process. One of the factors that can affect the care of infants is parenting self-efficacy. Parenting self-efficacy is a central cognitive element in parenting competence in the form of beliefs that refer to feelings in their role as parents or perceptions of parents' abilities to have a positive influence on children's behavior and development.This research was to identify the description of parenting self-efficacy in mothers of infants aged 0-6 months. The research design was an analytical descriptive research. The technique of collecting data performed was total sampling by taking 90 mother respondents of infants aged 0-6 months. Data were collected using a PMP S-E and  MSPSS questionnaire. The results of the study shows that mothers who have infants aged 0-6 months in Panti Village, Panti District, Jember Regency have high parenting self-efficacy as many as 76 people (84.4%). This shows that mothers have high confidence in their ability to provide care for their infants

    Antibiotics are the most widely used drugs for bacterial infectious diseases. Irrational use of antibiotics affects the increase in morbidity and mortality, resistance, and cost burden. One method that can be used to overcome the problem of resistance is to evaluate the use of antibiotics. This study aims to evaluate the use of antibiotics in the Sumbersari Puskesmas in 2018 which was conducted quantitatively using the ATC / DDD (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical / Defined Daily Dose) method. This study uses a cross-sectional descriptive study with retrospective data on adult patients undergoing hospitalization. Data on antibiotic use was obtained from 455 medical records for the 2018 period. Data taken included patient profiles, diagnosis, and antibiotic prescribing. The quantity of antibiotic use was calculated by the DDD 100 patient-days formula and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the disease most commonly suffered by adult patients was typhoid (30.5%). Besides, there are 7 types of antibiotics prescribed with a total DDD value of 36.93 DDD / 100 patient-days. The highest DDD value is ceftriaxone with a DDD value of 16.90 DDD / 100 patient-days

    Preschoolers inclined has many health problem that always threatening and able to impact quality of life such as, general health problems, behavioral disorders, learning disorders, and developmental disorders. One of the health problems in preschool children is enuresis. To overcome this problem can be done by using toilet training to train and teach children to be able to control bowel movements and urinating. The purpose of this study to determine how the relationship of learning toilet training in preschool children (5-6 years) with enuresis in Pakusari District. This study uses quantitative non-experimental analysis that is correlational using a cross-sectional study with the sampling technique Probability Sampling by means of Purposive Sampling and obtained are 252 respondents. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results (X2 = 21,378; p-value = 0,0001) it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning Toilet Training in preschool children (5-6 years) with enuresis in Pakusari District. There are several factors that influence learning toilet training such as the environment and education. The family environment is very influential because family has important effect for child. At stage of child growth the parents must attention to see the child’s readiness for receive learning toilet training.&nbsp

    The use of pesticides has a negative impact on humans because pesticides can enter the human body through absorption from the skin, intentional oral or inhalation. Knowledge related personal protective equipment from work accident is very important so that it does not interfere with the farmers’ work activities and does not interfere with the health of farmers. Personal protection that can be used is by using complete Occupational Health and Safety including masks, gloves, hats and special clothes. The positive attitude of farmers is needed so that farmers are aware and willing to wear personal protective equipment as a form of prevention of work accidents. The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge and attitudes of farmers regarding personal protective equipment in the use of pesticides in Darungan Village, Patrang District, Jember Regency. This research is a descriptive study on a total sampling of 100 farm workers. The results showed that most of the respondents (93%) had worked > 5 years. The majority of farmers' level of knowledge about personal protective equipment is still low (86℅), 69℅ of farmers have a positive attitude

    Complications in pregnancy and childbirth can not be predicted. One of the efforts to improve obstetric complications prevention services is strengthening PONED. A Primary Health Care that experienced of an increase in Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) cases is Silo I Primary Health Care. The study aimed to describe the input of the Basic Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Service (BEONEC) program at the Silo I Primary Health Care in Jember. The result showed that the availability of human resources has not been in accordance with established guidelines. The PONED team has not been in service for 24 hours. The financing does not have special PONED fund allocation. The availability of medicines for obstetrical and neonatal consumables in the category is sufficiently available. The available room is limited. Medical and non-medical equipment are complete enough to carry out emergency services. Supporting facilities are available in full at the health center.     An increase in Age Life Expectancy results in an increasing number of elderly. When entering the elderly, a person will experience an aging process accompanied by physiological changes that can cause reactions in the cardiovascular system, such as changes in blood pressure. Changes in blood pressure can be caused by various factors, one of which is anxiety. Anxiety is an emotional response to a judgment that describes a state of worry, anxiety, and fear. This study aims to analyze the relationship between anxiety levels and the blood pressure status to the elderly in the Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha Bondowoso (UPT). The research design applies analytic correlation with a cross-sectional approach to 67 respondents. Data collection uses the Geriatric Anxiety Inventory (GAI) questionnaire from April 23 to May 23, 2019. Research Ethics Test number to be No.367 / UN25.8 / KEPK / DL / 2019. The analysis of research data using Spearman with a 0.05 significance level. The results of the anxiety level showed as many as 39 elderly (58.2%) experienced anxiety, while 28 elderly (41.8%) did not experience anxiety, with a blood pressure value of at most high normal blood pressure. There is a relation between anxiety level and blood pressure status in Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha (PSTW) Bondowoso(p-value = 0.002; r = 0.369). Other factors such as age, gender, depression, stress, drugs, and physical activity need to be studied to avoid high blood pressure in the elderly

    Agriculture products as foodstuffs are needed by many people. One of the processed agriculture products that people like is white oyster mushroom. This was followed by requirements for the quality of white oyster mushroom products, so the analytical tool was needed to determine the freshness of white oyster mushrooms easily and practically. This study aimed to develop an edible freshness sensor based on sweet potato anthocyanin (Ipomoea batatas L.) with an edible membrane mixed between chitosan and corn starch. The edible freshness sensor can be applied to determine the freshness level of white oyster mushrooms with various parameters. The evaluation of the freshness of white oyster mushrooms included shrinkage weight test, pH value, texture value, and sensory evaluation. In determining the value of mean green, the color change of an edible freshness sensor was observed visually and measured using the ImageJ program. The results showed that a change in the color of the freshness sensor is dark purple when the white oyster mushroom is fresh, light purple when the white oyster mushroom is still fresh, and green when the white oyster mushroom is no longer fresh. The value of mean green from the edible freshness sensor increase with decreasing the freshness level of white oyster mushroom
