Gambaran Efikasi Diri Maternal pada Ibu Remaja di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukowono Jember
Adolescent mothers are women with a transition period between childhood and adulthood but must act as parents. Adolescent mothers have limited experience in caring for babies, thus often feeling incompetent and not confident. Maternal self-efficacy is self-confidence in the ability, a mother's competence perceived in caring for her baby, and perceptions of the role of mother. Confidence is a factor that influences the adaptation and achievement of a mother's identity in baby care and the closeness of mother to child. This study aimed to determine the description of maternal self-efficacy of adolescent mothers at the Public Health Centre Sukowono Jember Regency. This research used method analytic descriptive and total sampling methods with 50 adolescent mothers as respondents. Data were analyzed by univariate analysis. These results showed that more than half of the total respondents had low maternal self-efficacy (54%). Low maternal self-efficacy will delay the transition of the mother's role and limit the satisfaction in achieving the mother's role. Therefore, Nurses are important to pay more attention to adolescent mothers in pre-pregnancy services to improve their ability and increase their readiness and skills to carry out their roles as new mothers
Optimasi Hidroksipropil Metilselulosa dan Polivinil Pirolidon dalam Sediaan Mucoadhesive Buccal Film Diltiazem Hidroklorida
Diltiazem HCl is a class of benzodiazepine calcium channel blockers used to treat angina pectoris, arrhythmias, and hypertension. Diltiazem HCl improves first-pass metabolism, a short half time of 3-5 hours, and bioavailability of diltiazem for oral administration of about 40%. Mucoadhesive buccal film diltiazem HCl releases the drug to the buccal mucosa, so the first pass metabolism can be avoided because of its absorption through the venous system that flows from the cheek. This study aimed to study HPMC polymers and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) polymers on swelling index, residence time, mucoadhesive strength of mucoadhesive buccal film diltiazem HCl, FTIR, and drug release. The prepared film was evaluated for swelling index, mucoadhesive strength, and mucoadhesive residence time. The optimal amount for HPMC was 35 mg, and PVP was 15 mg. The combination of polymers with this amount can produce a swelling index was 3,00, mucoadhesive strength was 41,87 gF, and mucoadhesive residence time was 330,66. FTIR test indicated that there was no interaction between active function clusters of Diltiazem HCl and other excipients. The release of the optimum formula in the 360th minute was about 97.847%, following in the zero-order release model and Higuchi

An effective and safe strategy to control C. albicans activity was needed. The essential oil from siam orange peel has been shown to have antifungal properties. This study aimed to determine the optimal concentration of the essential oils of siam orange peel to inhibit the growth of C. albicans. This is experimental laboratory research with a posttest-only control group design. The water stream was used to get essential oil extract from siam orange peel and made in several concentrations 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The disk diffusion method was applied to determine the inhibition of essential oil extract of siam orange peel to the C. albicans. Nystatin and DMSO 10% plus tween 80 0,5% were used as positive and negative control groups. The results found that the essential oil extract of siam orange peel concentration of 50% and above showed an inhibitory effect on the growth of C. albicans with the most optimal is 75%. The essential oil extract of Siam Orange Peel would be useful as a therapeutic agent to control oral candidiasis.

Efek Induksi Gaya Mekanis Ortodonti Terhadap Perubahan Jumlah Sel Osteoblas Tulang Alveolar Gigi Tikus Pada Daerah Tarikan
Orthodontic treatment is one treatment that can improve the dental malocclusion. Bone remodeling involves the coordination of three cell types namely osteocytes, osteoclasts, and osteoblasts. Osteoblast cells is important in the process of bone remodeling, especially in the process of bone aposition in tension side. This study aimed to analyze the changes in number of osteoblasts cell in tension side of Sprague dawley alveolar bone which induced by orthodontic force during one weeks, two weeks, and three weeks. 36 rats were divided into 6 groups, the treatment group with apllied the orthodontic force for 1 weeks (P-1), 2 weeks (P-2), and 3 weeks (P-3) and thr control group without apllied the orthodontics force group for 1 weeks (K-1), 2 weeks (K-2), and 3 weeks (K-3). Wire ligature 0,20 mm was apllied on the right region of maxillary first Molar and Incicivus, then mesially activated with maximally tension gauge of Orthodontic appliance of Ni-Ti closed coil springs. Those samples were sacrified and sliced vertically on the regio right maxillary bone with mesiodistal position, then the preparation of histological section with Hematoxilyn Eosin staining (HE) was made. The number of osteoblast cells were observed in 3 areas of tension side using microscope with 400 magnification. The result showed that the osteoblasts number of 2- and 3-weeks treatment groups were greater significantly than control group. It concluded that the induction of orthodontic appliance mechanic increased the number of osteoblast on tension area. The increasing of osteoblast number is paralel with the duration of the orthodontic appliance mechanic induction
