    This study aims to assess the level of students’ critical thinking skills in science learning at elementary schools in Surakarta City. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, involving an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through pretests and posttests. The validity of the instrument was evaluated based on specific indicators and tested on sample groups after expert validation. The results showed that students in the experimental group, who used augmented reality media combined with the Jigsaw learning model, demonstrated more effective improvements in critical thinking skills in science learning compared to the control group that used conventional methods. The N-gain scores in the experimental group ranged from medium to high categories, while those in the control group fell into the low to medium categories. This study recommends the implementation of innovative learning models to foster students’ critical thinking skills from an early age in basic education

    This study aims to describe the development of imitation dimensions in karawitan learning in extracurricular activities at SDN Sumber 6 No.255 Surakarta based on a social learning perspective. This study uses a qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the four aspects of the imitation dimension have developed well, namely imitation of physical movements, sound patterns and rhythms, social and collective actions, and expressions in gamelan playing. The imitation process is seen in the way students imitate playing techniques from coaches and peers, adjust the tempo in groups, and apply habits and ethics of playing gamelan. This imitation-based learning not only helps students master musical skills, but also forms cooperation, discipline, and respect for culture. The implications of this study confirm that gamelan learning can be an effective medium in developing social skills through the process of observation and interaction in groups

    The problem in this study is the low mathematical problem-solving ability of grade IV students at SD Negeri 1 Bumi Mas. This study aims to determine the influence of the discovery learning model assisted by stamp game media on students' mathematical problem-solving skills. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design research design. The population and sample determination technique of this study used a saturated sampling technique with a sample of 36 students. Data collection techniques with test and non-test techniques are in the form of observation sheets. The hypothesis test used a simple linear regression with the result of Fcalculation > Ftable which was 20.063 > 4.49 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the application of the discovery learning model assisted by media stamp games on students' mathematical problem-solving ability in grade IV mathematics learning SD Negeri 1 Bumi Mas.Kata kunci: discovery learning, mathematical problem solving, and stamp gam

    ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN RADEC TERHADAPHASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN PANCASILAPESERTA DIDIK KELAS IV SD Oleh AYU RAHMAWATI Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Metro Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1)pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan (2)perbedaan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas IV menggunakan model RADEC dan menggunakan model Discovery Learning di SD. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental design dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dan populasi  sebanyak 46 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan teknik non tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan uji t. Hasil perhitungan uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan Fhitung sebesar 42,570 dengan signifikansi 0.000 yang artinya (0,000<0,05) dan hasil perhitungan uji t dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas IV menggunakan model RADEC dan menggunakan model Discovery Learning di SD Negeri 1 Metro Timur. Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, model pembelajaran RADEC, Pendidikan Pancasila, peserta didik kelas IV, quasi eksperimen

    This study aims to analyze and map the alternative character representation of Werkudara in the traditional Javanese puppet performance (pakeliran) titled Lakon Wahyu Eka Bawana, specifically focusing on its potential as a medium for character education and fundamental ethical values for primary school children. Werkudara, commonly known for his strength, is uniquely interpreted through three principles: Lila (sincere sacrifice/sincerity), Wani (moral courage/integrity), and Korban (collective self-sacrifice). Employing a qualitative approach with textual analysis and Malinowski's functional theory, the study finds that these three principles transcend mere narrative function. Functionally, Lila serves as a basis for fundamental ethics (honesty and humility), Wani as moral inspiration (integrity and responsibility), and Korban as a strengthener of social solidarity (mutual cooperation and social care). The value mapping demonstrates that Werkudara's character is highly relevant and can be integrated into the primary school curriculum as a concrete model rooted in local wisdom. The study concludes that traditional arts like wayang kulit are living and functional cultural media, effective in instilling noble values and preserving morality within the community

    The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of aspects of school climate and communication patterns in school culture on the profile of Pancasila students in public elementary schools throughout the Slamet Riyadi Laweyan Surakarta Cluster. This study uses a quantitative correlation approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The data sources in this study were students of SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 and SDN Mangkubumen Kidul No. 16. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis can produce calculations of t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that aspects of school climate and communication patterns in elementary schools throughout the Slamet Riyadi Laweyan Surakarta Cluster in the 2023/2024 academic year have a significant influence of 0.608 or 60.8% on the profile of Pancasila students. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile can be done through school culture, Pancasila student profile strengthening projects, intracurricular and extracurricular activities, therefore it is recommended to research the implementation of the Pancasila student profile through other activities

    The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of using interactive presentations with the Canva application on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design, specifically the pretest-posttest control group format. The study involved fourth-grade students from elementary schools within Cluster 1 of Serengan District, selected through a cluster random sampling method. To collect the data, researchers used a multiple-choice test aimed at assessing students’ achievement in mathematics. An independent samples t-test was used to analyze the data. The results demonstrated a statistically significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental group who were taught using interactive presentations with the Canva application and the control group who were instructed using image-based media. The experimental group scored an average posttest score of 76.52, while the control group scored 63.10, with a significance value of p < 0.001. In summary, the implementation of interactive presentations with the Canva application has a significant influence on elementary school students’ mathematics learning outcomes

    Critical thinking skills are one of the important competencies that need to be developed in the learning process, especially in facing the challenges of the 21st century. The Interactive-Case Based Learning (ICBL) learning model is present as an innovative approach that can increase students' active involvement in the learning process. Through real case-based problem solving and interactive discussion activities, students are trained to analyze information, evaluate various alternative solutions, and draw logical and rational conclusions. This active involvement is an important factor in developing critical thinking skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method to test the effect of the ICBL model on students' critical thinking skills. The design used is a pretest-posttest control group design, by comparing learning outcomes between the experimental group using the ICBL model and the control group using the conventional model. The results of the study showed that the ICBL model had a positive and significant effect on improving students' critical thinking skills. Thus, this model can be used as an effective learning alternative in developing students' critical thinking skill

    The purpose of this research is to explain the Pancasila Student Profile with a global diversity dimension in the science subject of phase B students. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, this method describes based on accurate data obtained to obtain a detailed picture of the research domain. The analysis was carried out at Djama'atul Ichwan elementary school and Al Fattah Islamic elementary school in Surakarta city with a total of 202 students in phase B. The results showed that as many as 56% of students had global diversity values above average, while the remaining 44% of students still needed further guidance in instilling global diversity values in them. The conclusions of this study are mostly embedded in students who have been embedded in the value of global diversity

    This study aims to explain the use of Literacy Cloud media to improve the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Dukuhan Kerten Surakarta. This study uses classroom action research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model with the following stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, (4) reflection. This classroom action research was conducted by the teacher in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings, to address learning issues in the classroom. The research subjects were 24 students in class VA. Data collection techniques in this study included interviews, observations, and tests. The research data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively descriptively. The results of this study indicate an increase in reading comprehension skills among students after using the Literacy Cloud media. The results obtained were seen from the percentage of student achievement, which increased from 45.83% to 79.16%. The challenges identified include some students who tend to work independently during lessons, students who lack confidence, and students who are less engaged in group discussions. The solutions implemented include teachers advising students, providing motivation, and assigning each student a specific role in group discussion
