    The aim of this study is to describe the steps in implementing the cooperative learning model of the Make A Match type assisted by lidimatika media to improve multiplication skills, as well as to enhance multiplication skills through the application of this model among third-grade students at SDN Dukuhan Kerten. The research subjects were the teacher and third-grade students of SDN Dukuhan Kerten. The data collected consisted of both qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data validation was carried out through source and technique triangulation. Data analysis involved several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the implementation of the Make A Match cooperative learning model assisted by lidimatika media led to improvements in each cycle. The percentage of lesson implementation by the teacher increased from 79.58% to 90.83%, while student participation increased from 73.86% to 86.36%. The students’ multiplication calculation test scores also improved from 79.95% in the first cycle to 89% in the second cycle

    Social Arithmetic combines arithmetic with social contexts, emphasizing understanding and applying arithmetic principles in daily life and social situations. This study examines the effectiveness of the Role Playing learning model on cognitive learning outcomes in Social Arithmetic, focusing on money and trade topics among grade V students in Gugus Menur, Miri, Sragen. The research employs an experimental method with a quantitative approach, utilizing a control group pretest-posttest design. The population consists of all grade V students in Gugus Menur, with samples from two experimental and two control schools. Data analysis includes hypothesis testing using independent sample t-tests and n-gain tests. The findings show significant differences in cognitive understanding between the Role Playing and Think Pair Share (TPS) learning models after treatment. The Role Playing model is more effective than conventional learning, with a standard gain score of 0.50 (moderate) for the experimental class and 0.19 (low) for the control class. In conclusion, the Role Playing model significantly improves cognitive learning outcomes in Social Arithmetic compared to the TPS model among grade V students

    Abstract. This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills on the material of mixed arithmetic operations of addition with subtraction and multiplication with division of grade III students of SD Negeri Pajang IV Surakarta. This study is a qualitative study with a case study method. The data source in this study came from III SD Negeri Pajang IV Surakarta. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling by taking 15 subjects for the analysis of test results and 4 students for the analysis of interview results. Data collection techniques used include tests, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique uses the triangulation technique. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the Miles and Huberman approach. The results of this study indicate that students' critical thinking skills on the material of mixed arithmetic operations of multiplication and division are in the low category and the medium category for mixed arithmetic operations of addition and subtraction. It is hoped that the research results can make a positive contribution in developing more effective mathematics learning methods, as well as improving students' critical thinking skills to face increasingly complex future challenges in this digital era.Keywords: critical thinking, mathematics story problems, mixed arithmetic operations, mathematics education,  and  elementary schoo

    This research aims to determine the effect of using the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by Google Earth on the ability to write descriptive texts of fourth grade elementary school students. This research is motivated by the problems that occur in learning to write description texts in the form of difficulty determining and developing ideas, lack of writing practice, not writing the structure of the description text as a whole, not correctly writing punctuation, capital letters, standardized words, effective sentences, and word choice. Therefore, this research is important to use learning models and media that are interesting, interactive, and relevant to technological developments so that they can significantly optimize students' ability to write description texts. This research method is a quasi-experiment. The population of this study were all fourth grade students of elementary schools in Group II Banjarsari Sub-district, Surakarta City and selected using cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used a description text writing test. Test the validity of the research instrument with expert judgment, v-aiken, product moment, reliability rating results, and Cronbach Alpha. The research requirements test consisted of Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, Levene homogeneity test, and balance test. The results of independent sample t-test hypothesis testing showed a Sig. (2-tailed) 0.018 <0.05. The improvement in the ability to write description text by students has been able to describe objects concretely, write capital letters and punctuation correctly, use diction according to the topic, write effective and patterned sentences, write paragraphs that show the relationship between sentences, and the structure of description text is more complete than before. The implication of this research can be a consideration for teachers to use the same learning model in learning other materials in the future

    The ability to understand mathematical concepts is one of the important abilities in mathematics learning activities. In efforts to improve mathematical understanding, it can be influenced by self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and the ability to understand mathematical concepts in elementary schools. The research method used is a quantitative correlational approach. The research sample consisted of 56 fourth-grade students from elementary schools in Pasarkliwon District. The sample was taken randomly using a cluster random sampling technique. The data analysis process used a simple Pearson Product Moment correlation hypothesis test. The results of the analysis showed a correlation coefficient value of 0.300. The correlation coefficient value of 0.300 indicates a low level of correlation. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination, self-efficacy contributed 9% to the ability to understand concepts. The results of the study prove that self-efficacy and the ability to understand concepts is positively and significant correlated

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran unsur proses IPAS di Kelas IV SD Negeri Kleco II Surakarta dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dan guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam mengamati, menanya dan memperkirakan, merencanakan dan melakukan penyelidikan, mengolah dan menganalisis data dan informasi, mengevaluasi dan melakukan refleksi, serta mengkomunikasikan hasil. Guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menganalisis CP, merumuskan CP menjadi TP, menyusun ATP, dan merancang pembelajaran, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi belum optimal, kesulitan dalam melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran IPAS. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa adalah mendiagnosis, menjelaskan kembali materi, melakukan kegiatan remedial dan pengayaan, memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk menuliskan pertanyaan di buku catatan, dan menyampaikannya di depan kelas. Sebaliknya, siswa lain diberi kesempatan untuk menjawab pertanyaan, membimbing siswa untuk terlibat langsung dalam penyelidikan, dan memberikan tugas dan latihan secara berkala. Upaya mengatasi kendala guru antara lain dengan meningkatkan kompetensi melalui pelatihan, berperan aktif dalam Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG), pendampingan dan pembinaan kepala sekolah, mengikuti pelatihan atau workshop, serta melakukan pengembangan diri secara mandiri

    This research aims to: (1) describe the forms of language errors found in the descriptive essays of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Cepedak for the 2023/2024 academic year, (2) describe the factors that cause language errors in students' descriptive essays, and (3) describe the teacher's efforts to overcome language errors that occur in students' descriptive essays.This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The data sources for this research include offline learning activities, informants (grade IV teachers and fourth grade students), and documents (students' descriptive essays). Data collection was carried out using passive participant observation techniques, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The data validity testing techniques used are source triangulation and technical triangulation.The results of this research are as follows. First, errors in the use of letters are the category of errors that are most often found and errors in writing absorption elements are the errors that are made the least by students. Second, the cause of these errors is students' lack of understanding of language rules. Teachers also have not used strategies or media to support writing learning activities in their classes. The teacher's effort to overcome this problem is by holding activities that involve composition skills regularly so that students get used to writing essays. Teachers also provide direct direction to students when they find errors in students' writing

    This research aims to describe planning for the learning management project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students with the theme of local wisdom at SD Negeri 1 Bulukerto. This research is qualitative research with a case study method. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and document study. The subjects in this research were the fourth grade students, the fourth grade teacher, and the school principal. The technique for testing the validity of this research uses triangulation of techniques and sources. This research data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model data analysis. The research results show that planning for the learning management project for strengthening the Pancasila student profile consists of several stages, namely understanding the meaning of the project for strengthening the Pancasila student profile, preparing the educational unit ecosystem, facilities and infrastructure, and designing the project for strengthening the Pancasila student profile

    The three goals of this study are: 1) compare the learning outcomes of students taught with the STAD learning model assisted by games on Wordwall application with taught with direct learning models; 2) compare the learning outcomes of students with high and low learning motivation; and 3) ascertain the interaction between learning models and learning motivation on student learning outcomes. The population of this study consisted of fifth-grade students from public primary schools in the Foster Area III Grogol sub-district. Using the cluster sampling technique, two elementary schools were selected to serve as the research sample. The methoda for gathering data involved questionnaires and tests. The two-way anava technique was used to analyze the data in this study. The findings of the study are: 1) students who receive instruction using the STAD learning model with games on the Wordwall application have different learning outcomes with students who receive instruction using direct learning models; 2) there is no significant difference in the learning results of student with high and low learning motivation; and 3) regarding student learning outcomes, there is no interaction between learning models and learning motivation

    This study aims to analyze the implementation of positive discipline within the Merdeka Curriculum as an effort to realize child-friendly schools at SDN Rejosari. The background of this research stems from the urgency of creating a safe educational environment that respects children's rights and shapes student character through reflective and humanistic approaches. This study employed a case study method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Informants included the school principal and teachers from grades II, III, and VI. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data collection, reduction, analysis, and presentation. The results indicate that positive discipline was implemented through four main stages: (1) Preparation stage, involving stakeholder alignment, socialization, problem and need mapping, behavior categorization, and collaborative program planning; (2) Consolidation stage, which included a formal declaration of the positive discipline movement, teacher training, and best-practice workshops; (3) Implementation stage, applied holistically at the school level through campaigns, extracurricular programs, character development activities, and integration into classroom instruction via class agreements, flexible space arrangement, positive reinforcement, and the use of restitution strategies; and (4) Sustainability stage, conducted through routine reflection, periodic evaluations by the school leadership and PMO (School Management Team), and assessment of behavioral changes in students. The findings show that the systematic application of positive discipline reinforces the values of the Merdeka Curriculum and supports the creation of a child-friendly school environment. However, challenges remain in developing a structured assessment system for character education. Therefore, schools must develop assessment instruments that reflect students’ internalization of positive discipline values
