    PENGEMBANGAN DIGITAL LIBRARY SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR

    In the era of information and communication technology (ICT) every institution, including library, competes in integrating technology to develop and empower ICT based application in the library containing digital learning resource. This research focused on developing Digital Library as a students’ learning resource to assist them to search digital information. Applying ADDIE Model, the research took place at Curriculum and Educational Technology Program, The School of Education, The State University of Jakarta, in March – September 2012 following the steps: analysing the students’ need, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the product. The result of the development of the application database for the digital library is the the development of open source which has applied International Standard, AACR. The software is called SliMS (Senayan Library Management System). SliMS is an Open Source Software (OSS) web based and designed specifically to meet the need for library automation at small to big scales. Digital Library of Curriculum and Educational Technology Program, The School of Education, The State University of Jakarta is beneficial for the staff and students in searching references and instrucional materials

    PENGUKURAN MINAT MAHASISWA BERDASARKAN TEORI HOLLAND

    This research aims to explore the students’ interestat the School of Education, State University of Jakarta. The interest model was based on Holland interest theoritical framework. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data from eight dapartments at school of education. The respondents involved 200 students from 2008 to 2011 recruitment. The data were collected through purposive nonrandom sampling technique. The results show that majority of respondents have entepreuners interest, then social, and realistic interest the fewest. The result shows that majority interest of FIP students matches with their academic background

    MODEL KONSELING KELOMPOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF-EFFICACY MAHASISWA

    This research aimed at producing a group counselling model to improve the students’ self-efficacy at Gudance and Counselling Department of School of Education, State University of Jakarta. The students 2007 academic year were writing their thesis. Taking a place in Gudance and Counselling Department of School of Education, State University of Jakarta, the research was conducted in the academic year of 2011/2012. The sample of 48 students were selected by random sampling from the students registered ini 2007. The research and development method was employed and the data were collected using the instrument of Multicultural Counselling Competence for counsellor candidates, which had been validated and its realibility had been tested. The findings wre classified into two groups. The first indicated 52.1% of the students have high self-efficacy. The second, the predictive effective group counselling model predicted was behavior-cognitive group counselling. The prodused model consisted of rationale, objective, main componen, format, session, counsellor’s roles, counselling phases, and success indicator. The research recommended Gudance and Counselling Department, students and researchers to do further research testing the effectivness of the model to improve students’ self-efficacy

    MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN PAIKEM TERHADAP NILAI UJIAN AKHIR SEKOLAH

    The purpose of this study is to obtain information on the relationship between PAIKEM intsructional strategy and the school final examination of international standard (UASBN) in SD Islam Al-Azhar 20 Jakarta. This descriptive research conducted from April through July 2011 employed survey method and used anquette, interview, observation, and data documentation techniques. The research samples included 35 students of the sixth grade to join UASBN and the teachers of Indonesian language, math, and natural science. The findings show (a) the PAIKEM instruction strategy is implemented effectively, (b) the students’ scores in UASBN are categorized very good, and (c) there is a ppositive relationship between the instructional strategy and the scores in UASBN

    The aim of this study is to explore the teachers’s competency in teaching students with hearing impairments within inclusive educational settings. This research conducted from February 2012 through June 2013. Method of the research is qualitative descriptive, observation and interview were employed to gather the necessary data towards 5 teachers where there is at least one student with hearing impairment in their classroom across all educational level. The result shows that the teachers do not have the competency about teaching the hearing impairments. The teachers have never been trained on teaching and instruction of children with hearing impairment, because the training based on contextual learning has not been previous. The research results some implication and recomendation

    The fast development of advance science and technology in the twentieth century has forced the people to change and adjust their ways of thinking and acting. Any society or nation does not adjust themselves to the changes around them will be left behind and isolated. As the effect of the radical changes, the social and commercial organizations are demanded to change to be able to survive and develop. The problem is how to manage and lead the organizations properly applying the new paradigm of the twentieth century. This article critically discusses the paradigm shift in the twentieth century resulted by the fast development of science and technology and in the other side it brought some problems such as borderless nations or globalization. The deductive and inductive analysis of the problems in this article concludes that educational organizations in particular should be proactive and absorb the positive changes occurring in their environment and in the world.     PERUBAHAN PERILAKU MALADAPTIF DENGAN JADWAL TERSTRUKTUR PADA ANAK AUTISME

    This research aimed at discovering the maladaptive bevavior change of the subject that is turning his/her head towards the window, leaving the seat to search the bee during the lesson after the child had been given the treatment using a structured schedule which fit to the peculiar characteristics of his/her maladaptive behavior objective. The research was conducted at SLB Tegar Harapan in Sleman (IY) as from June through Novemebr 2012. The research subject was an autistic child continuaously showing maladaptive behavior as mentioned before that made him not concentrate to rthe lesson. As a Single Subject Research with ABA design, this research applied obervation method to collect the data to be analyzed with simple technique. The findings showed in general the frequency of maladaptive behavior showed by the subject tent to decrease up to 1. Based on the findings, the research suggested to implement this method for other autistic children /more population to prove the effectiveness of the method

    PELAKSANAAN E-LEARNING UNTUK MATA KULIAH DASAR KEPENDIDIKAN

    This study aims to obtain information on the implementation of e-learning in Education Basic Courses (MKDK) at State University of Jakarta. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Education from May through November 2012. The population of the study covered lecturers and students of MKDK and the samples were selected by proportional purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaire and supported by interview guide. The results show that majority of the lecturers implement e-learning by using laptops and LCD, majority of the faculty do not use CD and OHP as teaching aids, hotspot network availability and the access very poor in almost all buildings, e-learning greatly assists students to understand the course material, almost all of the students have laptops and modems to support the lecture, most of the students use mobile phones to access the course material, and e-learning can facilitate students to access material unhindered by time and place, more efficiently, easily, quickly and effectively. The students need e-learning using blog / skype / youtube supported by professional lecturers, learning should be easily accessible and not boring

    Character education aims at improving religiuos, social, and emotional intelligence. To meet the aim not only the school is responsible but also the parents are responsible for building the children’s character. The purpose of this research, therefore, is to produce the design development of character value determined by the parents and the learning material appearnce. Applying development method, the research was conducted in Jakarta as from April through December 2012. As a development research, it included the development design, prototype, and evaluation of the learning materials. Data were collected by observation, interview, and questionair. The respondents, selected by accidental sampling technique, consisted of 10 parents and 10 primary school teachers. The result of the research showed the religious value was choosen as the main value of character education for the primary school students of grade 1-3 and honesty value for grade 4 -5
