    The Use of Metaverse in Providing Interactive Learning Experiences in Schools

    The development of digital technology has played an increasingly important role in education, and the concept of the metaverse offers the potential to enhance the quality of learning. The implementation of metaverse in education is gradually taking place, but understanding and utilization are still limited, especially at the primary and secondary school levels. This is further reinforced by the fact that Indonesia still adheres to mass education or education 2.0. This statement reflects the limitations in understanding and utilizing the concept of metaverse in school-based learning. This research aims to explore the utilization of metaverse as an interactive learning tool in the school environment. The research method used is a survey method, with educators at the primary and secondary school levels as respondents. Quantitative descriptive analysis is employed to determine the values of the related variables. The results of this research show that 40.4% of the respondents state that integrating social media with the metaverse can enhance the engagement and relevance of learning, creating interesting and interactive learning experiences. The metaverse also supports virtual social interactions, collaborative learning, and strengthens relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds. However, 47.4% of the respondents state that the integration of metaverse in learning practices is still limited, and learners' understanding of the metaverse needs to be improved. Further efforts are needed to integrate the metaverse into learning practices at schools, develop effective learning materials, and address existing challenges. In conclusion, the use of metaverse in learning has the potential to enhance learner engagement, creativity, collaboration, and motivation, but it requires more intensive efforts to fully integrate it into learning practices at schools

    Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Dan Sosial (IPAS) Berbasis Religi

    The natural and social sciences subjects which are currently called IPAS are a form of creative new curriculum in the independent curriculum, where this curriculum studies natural and social sciences which are designed into one book. Religion-based learning is learning that is integrated with religious values which aims to help students understand and apply religious aspects in their lives, as well as to deepen their understanding of religious beliefs and values. The research method used in developing natural and social science learning materials based on religion for class 4 is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The Research and Development (R&D) method is a research method used to produce certain products, to test the effectiveness of these products. This research uses the ASSURE development model which consists of Analyze learners, State Objectives, Select Strategies, methods, materials, Utilize Technology and Media, Require Learner Participation, Evaluate and Revise. The results of the module specification research show that the Islamic-based thematic module takes the form of print media. Second, namely validation, effectiveness and attractiveness. Based on design expert validation 79%, material expert validation 75%, learning expert validation 80%, based on field tests students in finding attractiveness obtained 88% results, based on the average pre-test and post-test results, namely 61.45 and 91.79 which can provide an assessment of the effectiveness of the module. Based on the results, the module created by the researcher is effective, valid and interesting.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang sesuai dan relevan dengan kurikulum serta kebutuhan siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Nurul Islam 02 Balungkulon, yang mengintegrasikan aspek agama Islam dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Mata pelajaran Ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial yang sekarang ini disebut dengan IPAS merupakan bentuk dari kreatifitas kurikulum baru yang berada dalam kurikulum merdeka, dimana krikulum ini mempelajari tentang ilmu alam dan sosial yang didisain menjadi satu buku. Pembelajaran  berbasis religi merupakan pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai agama yang bertujuan untuk membantu siswa memahami dan menerapkan aspek-aspek keagamaan dalam kehidupan mereka, serta untuk memperdalam pemahaman tentang keyakinan dan nilai-nilai agama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam Pengembangan bahan pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial yang berbasis religi kelas 4 adalah metode Research and Development (R&D). Metode Research and Development (R&D) adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, untuk menguji keefektifan produk tersebut Pada penelitian ini menggunakan  model pengembangan ASSURE yang terdiri dari analyze learners, state objectives, select strategies, methods, materials, utilize technology and media, require learner participation, evaluate and revise.Hasil dari penelitian sepesifikasi modul bahwa modul tematik yang berbasis islam berbetuk media cetak. Kedua yaitu validasi, efektifitas, dan kemenarikan. Berdasarkan dari validasi ahli desain 79%, validasi ahli materi 75%, validasi ahli pembelajaran 80%, berdasarkan uji lapangan siswa dalam mencarai kemenarikan memperoleh hasil 88%, bardasarkan rata-rata hasil pre tes dan post tes yaitu 61,45 dan 91,79 yang dapat memberikan penilaian keefektifan modul. Berdasarkan hasil maka modul yang dibuat peneliti efektif, valid dan menarik

    Strategy for Fulfilling Resources and Managing Education Financing in Primary Schools

    One of the important problems in educational development in almost every country in the world is education financing. Education financing is an activity related to obtaining the funds received and how these funds are used to finance all educational programs that have been determined. This research aims to determine the sources of education financing and how elementary school education financing is managed in Blora Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The research was conducted in three elementary schools in Blora Regency. The data collection method in this research was carried out in three ways, namely: interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results are: (1) Fulfillment of funding sources for primary school education in Blora Regency comes from three main sources, namely: central government, regional government, and the community; (2) Management of primary school education financing in Blora Regency has been carried out in three stages, namely: planning education financing, implementing education financing and evaluating education financing

    Development of A Book on Cultivating Manners for Pancasila and Citizenship Education Subjects for Class IV Elementary School Students

    This study aimed to create a book that can assist kids in cultivating proper etiquette.   The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, utilising the ADDIE model, which consisted of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data was collected through interviews and questionnaires. In addition, the data was analysed using two distinct stages: the expert evaluation stage and the product trial stage. The study’s findings, derived from expert testing, demonstrated the feasibility of the courtesy book yielded percentation comprised 95% of media experts, 88% of material experts, and 92% of linguists. The user conducted trials with students and achieved outstanding results in the One to One Evaluation (96%), Small Group (94%), and Field Test (94%), respectively. These findings demonstrated that the book product designed to inculcate courteousness in fourth-grade primary school students is appropriate for implementation. &nbsp

    This study aims to determine the Improvement of Education Quality through Technology-Based Learning, The method used in this study is library research. Literature research is a research activity carried out by collecting data in the form of books, journals, and previous research results to support this research. The data collection method uses the help of the internet to browse various references to previous books and research journals that are in accordance with the topic of research discussion in the form of documentation from several books, theses, and online journals then processed and analyzed and conclusions are drawn. The results of this study explained that with the development of information technology can be utilized in the field of Education and will help teachers and students in carrying out the learning process. This research also contributes to providing examples of technology with various usability features in supporting the improvement of education quality, including by using Flipped classrooms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Games (game-based learning) such as Duolingo applications, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR, and Khan Academy)

    Think Pair Share Learning Assisted by Wordwall on Mathematics Learning Outcomes

    Mathematics is a mandatory subject that plays an important role, therefore the lack of adjustment to learning models and supporting media in the learning process can be one of the factors causing low learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of think pair share supported by wordwall on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Elementary School. The research was conducted at SDN Batu Ampar 02 Pagi in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024. The research method used was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The sampling system used non-random sampling of 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The instrument used was an essay test that had been validated and tested for reliability. In data analysis, tests for analysis requirements were conducted through tests of normality (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) and homogeneity, while hypothesis testing used independent sample t-test with SPSS version 29.0.0.0. Based on the analysis, it was found that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class using think pair share supported by wordwall were 79.75, which was significantly better than the average learning outcomes of the control class students using conventional learning, which scored 70.25. The t-test result obtained a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.003 (0.003 < 0.005), hence Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that in this study, there is an influence of the think pair share supported by wordwall learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students

    Integration of Independent Curriculum Competencies in Craft Learning Content in Junior High School

    The Independent Curriculum is a curriculum that emphasizes the development of holistic competencies, creativity, and entrepreneurship of students to face the challenges of complex times more effectively. In secondary education, the application of the independent curriculum is able to have a significant impact on learning objectives, including the craft subject on the topic of processing. The research method used is qualitative by applying interview data collection, observation and field documentation studies. The results of the study found that the implementation of the independent curriculum at Nurul Huda Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School was carried out in stages from grade 7, with teachers who had received training to develop their own learning tools. The learning process for food processing crafts is interactive and fun, despite the lack of equipment and practice rooms. The integration of Independent curriculum in food processing craft in junior high schools produces students who are competent and knowledgeable in the culinary world

    Exploration Into The Ability of Fifth-Grade Students to Solve Decimal Problems Using Proportional Reasoning

    Proportional Reasoning is a complex mathematical way of thinking about interconnected ideas such as multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, ratios, powers, measurements, and percent. This research aims to identify students' thinking processes in solving decimal problems that require proportional reasoning. This research was conducted on 5th grade elementary school students in Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia, using test instruments, interviews and documentation studies. The test given consists of five types of questions, namely tests on questions that require students to use additive, multiplicative thinking skills, use reasonable or appropriate ratios, build unit structures (groupings), and understand invariants. The research results found that the proportional reasoning indicator that was more dominantly used by students was the ability to think multiplicatively, while the sub-indicators were writing and completing calculations but the final results were not correct. Apart from that, other findings explain that the low ability is due to the prerequisite material not being mastered, students not understanding the questions, and students not understanding the concept of the topic. Thus, these results confirm that proportional reasoning abilities in grade 5 elementary school are still quite low

    Comparison Between Contextual and Conventional Learning on The Poetry Writing Ability of Senior High School 1 Lembang Students

    Students' ability to write poetry must be more meaningful, this will not happen if Indonesian language teachers still use conventional models in their learning. Breakthroughs such as Contextual Learning are needed so that learning to write poetry is more meaningful for students. The aim of the research is to determine the differences in the poetry writing abilities of students who study using Contextual Learning and conventional models at SMAN 1 Lembang. The research used in this research is experimental, with Non-equivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control-Group Design. The population in this study was class X students of Senior High School 1 Lembang, totaling 10 classes. The sample was determined randomly, so classes X 3 and X 7 were determined, each with 31 students. The instrument uses the Poetry Writing Ability Test. Data analysis follows the following steps: 1) Normality test with p-value > 0.05, 2) Homogeneity test with p-value < 0.05, and 3) ANOVA test with p-value < 0.05. If the data is not normal or homogeneous then a Non-Parametric test is carried out using the Wilcoxxon and Mann-Whitney U tests. The research results show that the use of Contextual Learning in learning to write poetry provides better results when compared to conventional models

    The Use of Instagram as Learning Media

    The purpose of this literature review is to find out theoretical descriptions of the research methods used and find out the components in Instagram that can be made interesting for students to learn. Current technological developments such as Instagram over time can help the learning process outside and inside the classroom. The method used is looking for similarities, differences and providing views on the literature review. The results obtained from each study have different research methods based on the problems encountered. All teachers involve Instagram media as learning collaboration in achieving learning goals. The components in Instagram media that are of interest to students in learning are Instagram filters, feeds, Instagram stories and story highlights. The conclusion of this research is that journals (J1-J20) adopt various research methods to collect data and formulate conclusions related to certain problems.
