    MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS VIII SMP DENGAN PAKET PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH

    The purpose of this research is to produce problem-based instructional package for Social Science Subject in Grade VIII, Junior Secondary School. The package consisted of students book, teacher’s manual, instructional media, and evaluation materials. The research was conducted in Junior Secondary School in September 2014 through May 2015 in Rangkasbitung Sub-district, Lebak District, Banten applying research and development model introduced by Derek Rowntree. The research produced Instructional Package for Social Science Application consisting of students book, teacher’s manual, instructional media, and evaluation materials. Formative evaluation indicated by expert review, face to face try out, and field test was ‘very good’. The final product is feasible to be used as the problem-based instructional package for Social Science which is interesting, joyful and motivating

    This study aims at producing the reading comprehention instructional strategies that can be implemented effectively in the instructional process for students with learning problems. The initial idea of this research was based on the fact that reading comprehention instructional strategies had not been seccessfully appied to improve studens’ skills in reading comprehension. This research, conducted as from July 2012 through September 2013 at inclusive schools in Jakarta, applied the Research and Development (R&D) approach; consisting: (1) a preliminary stage, (2) development stage, and (3) testing and validation phase. The unit of analysis involves the classroom teacher who teaches Indonesian and students with learning problems in regular schools. Data collection applied the technique of observation, interviews, and test. The analysis of qualitative data with descriptive and quantitative data used non-parametric data analysis and Wilcoxson test. The results of the study show New Collaborative Strategic Reading affects the students’ reading skill and their comprehension and improve instructional process. Therefore, the New Collaborative Strategic Reading can be used as an alternative strategy to reading comprehension

    Learning skill functions as the basic foundation to enable the students to attain good learning achievement and practice optimal self-actualization at their work places. However, in fact majority of the students have not possessed learning skills for effective remembering, planning learning schedule, effective note-taking, fast and effective reading. This research aims at producing self-study module to facilitate the students to improve their learning skill in higher education. The model applied in this research was Rowntree’s research and development. The research was conducted for 11 months as from Jan through November 2014 in The School, Education of State University of Jakarta.The research result showed the module was effective based on expert review, one to one evaluation, small group, and field trials. It could improve the students’ learning skill. The implication of this study is the module facilitates the students to learn independently and develop their learning skills so that they can achieve the expected graduate competence

    This research and development aimed at producing social science learning materials for the fourth grade of Elementary School students. The learning materials contain economic activities related to natural resources and other potentials in their area. This research used research and development method with reference to the instructional development model adopted by Atwi Suparman. This research involved the fourth grade students in Binong V Primary School, Tangerang Regency. This research used questionnair, observation, and interview to collect data from the respondent. The steps included experts review, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field test. The results indicate that the development of social science learning materials based on contextual approach reach the very good criteria

    PROFIL GOOGLE SCHOLAR DOSEN UIN SYARIF HIDAYATULLAH JAKARTA BERBASIS WEBOMETRICS

    This research aims to obtain an overview of the profiles of lecturers based on webometrics, a general description of webometrics-based facilities at UIN Jakarta, and the profiles of the lecturers on Google Scholar. The method used in this study is a survey method, especially in taking the respondents as a data source. In presenting the data, this study uses descriptive analysis method which illustrates the results obtained from the survey of the profiles of FITK (Faculty of Education and Teachers Training) lecturers on Google Scholar. The study was conducted within a period of 6 months (April 1st to September 31st, 2015). List of Ranks shows the number of permanent lecturers (civil servants) of FITK UIN Jakarta is 163 lecturers. Nevertheless, after conducting a tracking study, there are 35 lecturers only who already have a profile account on Google Scholar. Out of 35 lecturers, only 19 lecturers have values in citations, h-index, and h10-index. Prof. Dr. Abuddin Nata, M.A. is the most prolific and most widely cited lecturer on Google Scholar in the Faculty of Education and Teachers Training (FITK) of UIN Jakarta. His scientific works have been cited 1600 times in other works. He has also the highest h-index value, 17 (seventeen), and the highest i10-index, 21 (twenty one)

    The problem discussed in this study is improving the roles of frontlined teachers (GGD) in developing the schools they assigned to become an Effective School. This study aims at contributing a thought for improving the roles of frontlined teachers in developing the school they assigned to become Effective School in East Aceh. The method used was a descriptive qualitative by applying data collecting technique such as interview, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), documentary, and observation conducted through December 2015. The study reveals some roles of the frontlined teachers are to be optimalized related to (1) school principal, (2) fellow teachers, (3) students, (4) parents/community, and (5) fellow frontlined teachers,. The conclusion of this study is that the presence of frontlined teachers is needed to help overcome the educational school problems in East Aceh Disrict

    This study aims to determine the effects of intelligence, leg muscle strength, as well as the balance towards the learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic on the students Physical Education Health and Recreation of Islamic University 45 Bekasi. The research method is survey, and the analysis technique is path analysis. This research was held in Islamic University 45 Bekasi with 122 people of population. The sampling technique used was random sampling, with the total sample of 60 people. The instruments used were a rubric 4 scale (very good, good, enough and less) of learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic, intelligence test with IST (Intelligence Structure Test), leg muscle strength with instrument squat test, and test of balance by using modified bass test of dynamic balance. Based the result of data processing and analysis, the conclusions are: (1) intelligence directly affects the learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic, (2) leg muscle strength directly affects the learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic, (3) balance directly affect the the learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic, (4) intelligence directly affects the balance, and (5) leg muscle strength directly effects the balance

    The purposes of this study are to discover the efforts of the primary school teachers to adopt the curriculum focusing on the students’ problems, curriculum adaptation, and the teachers’ effprts in solving instructional problems. The research was conducted at Semut-semut Primary School, Kelapa Dua, Depok. The findings are the IQ of the students with social-emotional problems is under the average, they have difficulties in interaction, communication, and independence. The spend between 50 % to 75 % of their time in the classroom and the remaining time they spend in Learning Support Department and 3 – 4 children learn individually. As in the curriculum adaptation, the students’ competence is developed with limitation. The children which have not been able to adopt in the class, this program is used to develop social aspect and reading, writing, and arithmetic skills as their preparation to join regular class

    Academic procrastination is one of the problems student usually faced, caused by fatigue or boredom. While in the other side, students needs the ability to regulate themselves for striving their goals. This study aims to determine the influence of self-regulation towards academic procrastination using quantitative method with psychological scale in questionnaire form. This research instrument was developed based on the theory of academic procrastination by Ferrari and self-regulation theory by Barkley. This research was conducted in June 2016. The samples of this study were the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 10 Jakarta (State Senior High School of Jakarta). The sampling technic used was cluster random sampling. The analytical statistic used to test the hypothesis was regression analysis using SPSS program verse 19 and Rasch Model. The Result of this study indicates that there is negative effect of self-regulation towards academic procrastination. It shows that the higher self-regulation performed, then the lower academic procrastination will become. The influence which resulted by self-regulation towards academic procrastination is 29,3% and the rest 70,7%, is caused by another factor

    EVALUASI PROGRAM PEMBELAJARAN TEACHING FACTORY DI SEKOLAH USAHA PERIKANAN MENENGAH

    The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of Teaching Factory Learning Program in SUPM Negeri Tegal. This research is a qualitative research using CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The main subjects of this research were the teachesr of Teaching Factory and the students of class XII in Fish Processing Technology. The data were collected through participant observation using interview, observation, document study, and questionnaire. The research found that the implementation of the learning program Teaching Factory in SUPM Negeri Tegal are generally in good condition. This can be seen from the evaluation result that (1). Context Components show a good category; (2).Input Components show a good category; (3) Process Components show a very good category;.and (4) Product Components show a good category. The quality of the Teaching Factory learning program can be improved by treating the aspects of the low category in each stage of evaluation
