PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS DI SEKOLAH DASAR
The aims of this study is to find out the teacher’s understanding of the application of learning to writing in Islamic Primary School Jerapah Kecil, East Jakarta. Using ethnographic methods (Spradley model), this qualitative study was conducted in March-July 2013. The results of this study indicate that the teaching of writing in Islamic Primary School Jerapah Kecil has a unique in the learning objective. The students are expected to have writing skills through contextual writing practice and to enjoy writing. Through various writing activities the teacher builds positive attitude on the students. Beside the communicative and the whole language approaches, the teaching also implements student-centered approach. The students’ writing skills are developed through several kinds of writing activities at school and out of school. The students’ writing performance is asseesed not only based on their product but also writing process. Then assessment covers cognitive and affective aspects. Using a variety of learning resources in writing, such as museum, can develop the students’ positive attitudes
PENGARUSUTAMAAN GENDER DALAM KEGIATAN BELAJAR DAN PEMBELAJARAN PADA SEKOLAH DASAR DI DKI JAKARTA
The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process at elementary schools in Jakarta. This research used survey method for 30 respondents conducted at 30 elementary schools in Jakarta. Indicators of gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process were related to punishment given to the students, roles played by the students, teaching method for the students, opportunities given to the students, rewards given to the students, evaluation, and students’ participations. The result of study shows that mean score of gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process reached 21.17 or 88.19 % from theoretically maximum score. It means that implementation of gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process at 88.19 % from 30 elementary school has already been effective. Gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process at 30 elementary schools achieved 43.33 % higher than average score whereas 26.66 % lower than average score. It can be concluded that implementation of gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process at 43.33 % from 30 elementary schools has already been effective. In other words, gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process at 13 elementary schools has already been effective. On the other hand, implementation of gender mainstreaming in teaching learning process has not been optimal
DINAMIKA LPTK MENUJU PERGURUAN TINGGI KELAS DUNIA (WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITY/WCU)
LPTK as a producer of educators must be proactive towards a world-class higher education (world class university / WCU). The study was conducted in 2014. The results of this study by using a number of criteria indicate that LPTK has shown dynamics to strive towards world universities. Yet the dynamics are still small and limited, because faced with a certain number of constraints, namely (1) the lack of academic qualifications of teaching staff come from overseas graduates, as required as one of the criteria towards WCU; (2) improving the quality of lecturers is often hindered by foreign language skills, the elderly, funding, and limited provider institution quality graduate programs; (3) sending lecturers to continue their studies abroad are still hanging from the directorate Higher Education; (4) the submission of budgetary limitations that do not provide the flexibility to call / use a guest lecturer / adjunct lecturer who come from abroad; (5) there are many new courses that achieve accreditation status B / C in the assessment of BAN PT, so they concentrated on improving the status of accreditation of the study programs; (6) the reliance fund / budget delivery of education LPTK against the government (APBN), so the lack of flexibility in allocating funds specifically aimed at supporting the WCU program; (7) the appointment of a lecturer / lecturer in LPTK are insufficient to meet the needs, especially in terms of the angle ratio of the number of faculty and students; and (8) lack of journals in college container itself or else outside an accredited institution of national / international lecturers publish scientific papers
PEMANFAATAN HANDPHONE DI KALANGAN MAHASISWA
This study aims to identify the utilization of application programs on mobile phones in the student learning process. This research is a requirement analysis step from development research entitled “Development of Moodle Based Learning Mobile for Learning in Higher Educationâ€. The study was conducted from March to May 2017 involving 64 students for the course of Development of Learners. This research was used survey research method with quantitative approach. The data was collected by an open questionnaire given to 64 students. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The result of the research shows that there is still minimal use of mobile phones to be used in learning process and student learning and there are still many social media applications that are often opened by students. This research has implications for the presence of a moodle-based mobile learning application that can be used by students to study in the classroom
MENGEMBANGKAN PUSAT SUMBER BELAJAR DI PERGURUAN TINGGI BERDASARKAN MASALAH DAN KEBUTUHAN TERBARU
Learning resources center plays an important role in supporting academic excecution at university. However, the learning resources center context was changed, especially the context regarding to the problems and needs on the implementation of learning resources center. This article discuss the shifting problems and needs on the implementation of learning resources center based on evaluation research findings using Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation models. The research was conducted in the State University of Jakarta’s learning resources center by non-participatory observation and interview with the stakeholders, questionnaire by stratified random sampling toward 212 students and 100 lecturers, and documents study of the learning resources center since 1986 to 2015. This research was conducted in PSB UNJ for seven months (November 2015 - May 2016). The problems updates and the needs developments that underlie the implementation of the learning resources center demands the development of vision and mission, goals, and new functions to be more responsive to the latest problems and needs
MINAT BACA DAN GAYA BELAJAR MAHASISWA LPTK SEBAGAI CALON GURU PROFESIONAL DI ERA DIGITAL
The purpose of conducting this research was to examine whether there is significant correlation or not between reading interest and learning style of LPTK’s students as professional teacher candidates. 126 samples were taken from 4 LPTK was previously a state Teachers’ Training College (IKIP Negeri) in June - November 2016, involving 126 respondents. Data were analyzed using an application aid Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 21 and Winstep version 37.1 applications Rasch modeling to determine the categories of respondents are more uncertain. Hypotheses were tested using Cramer’s V nonparametric correlation method. The Result showed that approximate significantly. (0.818) was higher that alpha (0.05), it can be concluded that the Null Hypothesis (H0) “there is no significant correlation between reading interest and learning style on LPTK’s studentsâ€
PENERAPAN PERMAINAN HEADING SEPAK BOLA DI SMA
Football requires coordination between one technique with another very complicated procedure. The purpose of this study is to get a comprehensive picture of football heading game implementation in high school students. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang 2012/2013 school year. This study uses the design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research, with the population of students of grade X SMA Negeri 13 Palembang, amounting to 147 students and using the sample of students of class X.B SMA Negeri 13 Palembang which stood to 38 people taken by using Cluster Sampling technique. The results showed that the application of football heading game, the game in pairs, header triangle, and volleyball heading turned out to give a significant effect on the results of learning heading on students X.B SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. This research recommends preparing the material according to the characteristics of the material and the learners
EVALUASI PROGRAM MUTU BERBASIS SEKOLAH (MMBS) DI SMA N 61 UNGGULAN JAKARTA TIMUR (PENDEKATAN EVALUASI BERDASARKAN MODEL CIPP)
One of the things that lead to the success and effectiveness of school institutions is due to the quality of student achievement. Achievement of student learning outcomes depends on the success of teachers in helping students to achieve learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the learning program covering input component, process, and output of learning process in SMA 61 Jakarta. The method used is a qualitative method. The study was conducted during 2014. Data analysis techniques used using interactive models that include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the evaluation of the quality program conducted in SMA 61 Jakarta related to input, process and output components. The combination of the three elements, inputs, processes, and product quality is the determining factor to improve the quality of education. This study found the participation of school committees in the implementation of education at SMAN 61 Jakarta is not optimal. Therefore, it is expected that school committees can optimally not only mobilize education funding from the community
MODEL KONSELING KELOMPOK COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF ESTEEM SISWA SMK
The purpose of this research is to test effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling to increase self esteem of vocational high school students. The research was conducted from November to January 2016. In this research, a researcher used exsperiment structure with design pretest and posttest control group. Grounded on result of measure inventory self esteem issues twelve students identification as students have characteristic low self esteem. Furthermore comb out subject for group experiment and group control used by random with amount six students for every group. There are two kinds of instrument are used those are instument treatment and measure. Instrument treatment as project implementation group counseling cognitive behavior, whereas instrument measure as inventory self esteem which has validity value grain total with value R on top of 0,32, and realibility are 0,945 can be concluded inventory self esteem reliable and worth as a research instrument. The data is analyzed with test statistic nonparametrik Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U. The income hypothesis get value Z is -2,242 and figure Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0,025 < 0,05, so Ho is refused, which meaning effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling to increase self esteem of Vocational high school. Based on the analysis of the found the research (1) to counselor: Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling can be carried out to increase self esteem of vocational high school students, and can be principle to understanding of grown students; and 2) to next researcher: This research applicate Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling with cognitive restructuring, problem solving and homework technique, for the Next researcher can test the effectiveness by using the other technique that relevant, or may be the researcher can use the other design as single subject design, action research in guidence and counseling, or the other exsperiment research that model Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling can be test the effectiviness
MENGGAGAS LPTK MASA DEPAN: IKHTIAR MENGATASI PROBLEM PENDIDIKAN DI INDONESIA DARI HULU
The Indonesian education is still facing a number of problems, particularly related to the low quality and performance of education. The problems among others are caused by the teachers as the main actors of education. The purpose of this study to offer some alternative solutions derived from the roots of the problems. The study suggests to reform the teacher education institutions that produce teacher candidates.
