    10 KETRAMPILAN ABAD 21 TERATAS YANG DAPAT DIKEMBANGKAN MELALUI PENERAPAN METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING

    This study aims to analyze the role of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method in facilitating the development of skills that are very much needed in today's era. The study was conducted quantitatively descriptively by distributing questionnaires to 151 students and alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti who carried out the learning process with the PBL method. The data collected were processed using SPSS. The results of the study indicate that PBL is an active learning method that is able to facilitate the development of student skills that are very much needed to achieve success in the 21st century. The results of the ranking of skills developed through PBL show the top 10 skills, namely cooperation skills, communication skills, negotiation and conflict management skills, analytical skills, results-oriented skills, leadership skills, decision-making skills, innovation/creativity skills, critical thinking skills, and maturity skills. With these results, it can be recommended to expand the implementation of PBL in other study programs and to provide adequate training for lecturers.Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis peran metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan ketrampilan yang sangat dibutuhkan pada era saat ini. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada 151 mahasiswa dan alumni FEB Universitas Trisakti yang menjalankan proses pembelajaran dengan metode PBL. Data terkumpul diolah menggunakan perangkat SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL merupakan metode pembelajaran aktif yang mampu memfasilitasi pengembangan ketrampilan mahasiswa yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk mencapai kesuksesan pada abad 21 ini. Hasil pemeringkatan terhadap ketrampilan yang dibentuk melalui PBL, menunjukkan 10 besar keterampilan, yaitu keterampilan kerjasama, keterampilan komunikasi, kemampuan negosiasi dan menajemen konflik, keterampilan analisis, keterampilan untuk berorientasi pada hasil, keterampilan kepemimpinan, keterampilan pengambilan keputusan, kemampuan inovasi/kreativitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan bersikap dewasa (maturity). Dengan hasil ini, maka dapat direkomendasikan untuk memperluas implementasi PBL pada prodi lain, dan menyelenggarakan pelatihan yang memadai bagi para dosen pengampu

    The Utilization of 360-Website as Authentic Materials in ESP: Opportunities and Challenges

    This study aims to explore the utilization of 360-view web-based authentic materials in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) teaching and identify the opportunities and challenges it faces. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires given to ESP students and lecturers. The results showed that using 360-view websites as authentic materials can increase student engagement, enrich the learning experience through interactive visualizations, and help them understand the real-world context in specific fields of expertise, especially in the hospitality sector. However, challenges include limited access to technology, lecturers' readiness to integrate digital media, and the need for more structured pedagogical guidance. The implication of this study highlights the need to develop more effective implementation strategies to maximize the benefits of 360 website-based authentic materials in ESP learning.Studi ini dimaksudkan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan bahan autentik berbasis situs web dengan tampilan 360 dalam pengajaran English for Specific Purposes (ESP) dan juga untuk mengidentifikasi peluang serta tantangan yang muncul dalam penerapannya. Pendekatan kualitatif telah digunakan dalam metode penelitian ini, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa dan dosen ESP. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan situs web dengan tampilan 360 sebagai sumber yang otentik dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa, memperkaya pengalaman belajar melalui visualisasi interaktif, dan membantu mereka memahami konteks dunia nyata dalam bidang keahlian tertentu, terutama di sektor perhotelan. Tetapi, beberapa masalah yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan akses teknologi, kesiapan dosen dalam menggabungkan media digital, dan kebutuhan akan pedoman pedagogis yang lebih terstruktur. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan strategi implementasi yang lebih efektif untuk memanfaatkan secara maksimal bahan autentik berbasis situs web 360 dalam pembelajaran ESP

    An Action Research at SDN Paji: Improving Students' Vocabulary Mastery through the Word Wall Strategy

    Learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL) requires vocabulary mastery, especially for elementary school students. This occurs due to limited teaching time, traditional teaching approaches, and low exposure to English. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this action research at SDN Paji, Lamongan. The purpose of this research is to determine how effective the Word Wall strategy is in improving the vocabulary of fifth-grade students. For six weeks, visuals, definitions, and example sentences were used to display thirty target words related to everyday themes. By reading aloud, using relevant words, and adding new vocabulary, students engaged with the Word Wall. Post-test results showed better recognition and usage of words in both speaking and writing, indicating a significant improvement in vocabulary mastery. Interviews confirmed that this method makes vocabulary learning more enjoyable and easier to remember, and observations showed an increase in students' confidence, participation, and ability to learn independently. According to self-determination theory, word boards also encourage intrinsic motivation. In addition, word boards support various different learning styles. By collaborating between teachers and students and incorporating additional preparation time into lesson plans, such issues can be addressed. Overall, the Word Wall strategy is student-centered and creates an interactive and cost-effective learning environment. This helps students learn vocabulary in an EFL environment with limited resources. Future research should investigate the long-term impact of digital adaptation at various grade levels

    English is one of the essential subjects that students must master, particularly in writing skill. However, the reality 22 eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe Utara still had difficulties in writing good and structured narrative texts. This was due to the lack of learning strategys that support students in organizing their ideas. Therefore, this study aimed to describe students’ ability in writing narrative texts through the implementation of concept mapping that is valid, practical, and effective. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, written tests, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of concept mapping helped students to organize ideas systematically, understand the structure of narrative texts, and develop more coherent storylines. The teacher provided sufficient guidance, although written evaluations and individual feedback were not yet optimal. Most students showed improvement in narrative writing, especially in composing orientation, complication, and resolution. However, some students still found it difficult to develop creative conflicts and conclusions. The study concluded that concept mapping is an effective learning strategy to support the process of writing narrative texts. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers consistently apply this strategy and complement it with comprehensive evaluation to achieve better learning outcomes.Abstract: English is one of the essential subjects that students must master, particularly in writing skill.     The result of PISA for Indonesia in 2022 in literacy field, placed in 59 from 81 countries with the score 359, in numeration field, placed in 67 from 81 countries with the score 366, and for science field took placed in 65 with the score 383. Thus result are increasing, however is not good enough. Therefore, this research trying to depict the government efforts to increasing teacher quality in line with education as the implementation of national goals which is enrich the life of a nation. The task of enrich the life of a nation is not only imposed on teachers, but also on stakeholders through policies that have an impact on education. The result of this paper, with literature review as the research methodology, revealed that the government programme through teacher sharing (guru berbagi), teacher learns (guru belajar), Internet quota in pandemics, and the school operational fund indirectly affect the teacher quality and the increasing of PISA SCORE

    Cooperative learning can be defined as a method in which students work together in small groups to support each other's learning, with the goal of understanding class objectives and engaging in learning activities. An instructional approach that utilizes this new framework is known as Think Pair Share (TPS), a pedagogical model consisting of several learning stages that can increase student engagement and interaction. The Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model is a structured approach to group learning where students exchange ideas to improve their cognitive abilities, articulate their viewpoints, and foster collaboration among peers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of implementing the TPS (Think Pair Share) cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This study used a methodology by conducting a literature review. The methodology used in this literature review is based on a qualitative approach and uses data collection techniques from the literature review. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the TPS (Think Pair Share) type cooperative learning model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.     The utilization of technology in digital era has been beneficial for all aspects of human live including education. Technology is also used as the problem solvers and solutions for educational problems faced by teachers and students in schools. Based on that situation, this research proposed to analyze and discover the impact of School Tube utilization as the learning media at Madrasah Aliyyah Negeri (MAN) 1 in Lhoksemwe. This qualitative research used a descriptive approach and employed two data collection techinques that are interview and observation. The respondents of this research were teachers and school administrators at MAN 1 in Lhokseumawe. This research found that the utilization of SchoolTube at MAN 1 Lhokseumawe has positive impact to help students in learning their subjects. It directs students to learn independently that promotes autonomous and asynchronous learning model. Besides that, Shool Tube also helps teacher in providing materials for students to learn when the teachers need to attend their administrative duties outside the classroom. On the contrary, some teachers were still found not proficient in using this media. Moreover, as a free learning media, School Tube still has limitation access, so the students could not use it outside the school compound. Thus, it is suggested to the school authorities to train and enhance teachers’ ability through workshop in using School Tube and other audiovisual application as learning media

Pendidikan Berbasis Kompetensi (CBE) merupakan alternatif yang menjanjikan dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan CBE dalam pendidikan kesehatan, peningkatan kompetensi klinis, tantangan, dan solusi potensial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Scoping Review dengan lima langkah untuk mensintesis literatur yang ada, diikuti dengan analisis mendalam menggunakan pendekatan Population, Exposure, Outcome (PEO). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari April 2024 hingga Juni 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBE secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi klinis praktisi kesehatan dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran

    This research examines the development of educational resources in the millennial generation era by utilizing the Society 5.0 and Local Genius 6.0 approaches. The main focus of this research is how these two concepts can be applied in developing an educational curriculum that is more adaptive, relevant to modern technology, and still maintains local values. Using an explorative method, this research found that the merging of technology and local wisdom resulted in significant improvements in education quality, student engagement, as well as strengthening cultural identity. Despite some obstacles such as gaps in access to technology and limited resources, the results show that this holistic approach is effective in improving the quality of education in the digital era.Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan sumber daya pendidikan pada era generasi milenial dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan Society 5.0 dan Local Genius 6.0. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kedua konsep ini dapat diterapkan dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan yang lebih adaptif, relevan dengan teknologi modern, dan tetap mempertahankan nilai-nilai lokal. Dengan metode eksploratif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggabungan antara teknologi dan kearifan lokal menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas pendidikan, keterlibatan siswa, serta memperkuat identitas budaya. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kesenjangan akses teknologi dan keterbatasan sumber daya, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan holistik ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital
