    Proposed Marketing Strategy to Improve Visit Intention of Domestic Visitors (Case Study: Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark)

    Tourism in Indonesia offers various tourism destination, one of them is Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark (CPUGGp) which located in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. CPUGGp as a tourism destination offers three main activities that is aligned with geopark aspects, which are geodiversity, biodiversity, and cultural diversity. However, since the tourism industry still growing to be competitive, CPUGGp is facing a challenge in terms of attracting visitors. In 2019 – 2020, if compared to the visitors who came to tourism destination in Sukabumi Regency, CPUGGp only reached approximately 5,9% of them. This research purposed to provide problem solving for CPUGGp Management. In order to understand the problem faced by CPUGGp, this research used theoretical approach of customer analysis, external analysis using general environmental and industry environment analysis, as well as internal analysis conducted using resources-based model. The customer analysis is intended to examine the customers destination knowledge and its influence toward their visit intention. The methodology used for analyzing the customer analysis data is using multiple regression analysis. The variables of destination knowledge are destination awareness and destination image, examined if there is any positive influence towards the visit intention. The overall result of the analysis then summarized through SWOT analysis, and further identified the root cause. The result of the research shows that CPUGGp Management needs to develop a better digital promotional activity, upgrade its infrastructure within the area, provide the customers clear guide map, as well as communicating travel campaign with health protocol for post-pandemic potential visits.     Blasting Operational Improvement for Efficiency and Optimization of Coal Reserves Case Study: Pit C2-PT.Berau Coal

    PT.Berau Coal (PT.BC) is a company that holds a Coal Mining Concession Work Agreement (PKP2B) located in Berau District, East Kalimantan Province. PT.BC uses an open pit mining system, where one of the important stages in the mining process is using a blasting system to blow up the covering material (overburden). The government issued Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Regulation No.26 of 2018 and Decree No.1827.K/30/MEM/2018 limit the safe distance of blasting for mining equipment and facilities 300 m and for humans 500 m and the case of changes in the blasting activity, technical studies must be conducted first. The blasting effects such as Ground Vibration, Airblast and Flyrock must be safe and comply with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). In an effort to achieve the production targets for 2020 and Life of Mine (LOM), Sambarata Mine Operation has an opportunity of optimization Pit C2 to the south but limited to safe distance <500 m from humans and public facilities. The number of overburden that can be excavated at a distance of 150-500 m by Life of Mine (LOM) is 24,573,000 BCM, with a stripping ratio of 8.64, coal will get 2,843,000 ton. Blasting operational system improvement at safe distance 150-500 m from human and public facilities is a solution to the business issue. Some of the main improvements made were improvements in the Technical Blasting, Quality Control and Risk Control. Implementation of this project gives good results such as: blasting effect (Ground Vibration, Airblast and Flyrock) below the threshold value according to SNI standards and target, production efficiency in terms of saving production costs and increase the productivity of the unit loader, and optimization of coal reserves.Key words: Blasting, Improvement, Efficiency, Optimization, Safe Distance, Ground Vibration, Airblast, Flyroc

    The Influence of Psychosocial Factors in Organizational Performance: A Case Study at PT Informatika Utama

    PT Informatika Utama is an IT consulting company specialized in hospitals. In 2020, an organizational performance assessment performed by the human resource division showed that the profitability dimension was not achieved. Moreover, the employee job satisfaction also showed that 51% of the employees were unsatisfied. Organizational performance heavily relies upon the performance of individual employees (Adam, 1994). And according to Jehanzeb and Bashir (2013), to reach the company's goal and retain loyalty, employees should be satisfied. The organization and its employees are facing a big challenge to achieve their target: maintain the balance between available resources and the needs to fulfill the employee's health and well-being. The psychosocial approach is a science that identified the employee working condition whereas it is also one of the important aspects to building a positive working environment. Therefore, this study was conducted to help PT Informatika Utama increasing its organizational performance by identifying its employee psychosocial factor.To identify the most contributing factor for PT Informatika Utama's organizational performance, this study will perform a correlation and multiple regression analysis between psychosocial factors using an adaptation of the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ III) and the Organizational Performance Questionnaire assessed by the experts in behavioral science and IT business. This study was using 71 employees of PT Informatika Utama as samples and was conducted using a purposive sampling technique. Based on the 26 dimensions of COPSOQ III, there is a strong relationship between psychosocial factors and organizational performance, namely job satisfaction (r = 0.805), organizational justice (r = 0.465), role clarity (r = 0.434), and possibility to develop (r = 0.236) are the biggest aspect that contribution to the company, while the dimensions of job satisfaction have the greatest and most positive influence on organizational performance. Keyword: COPSOQ, Psychosocial, Psychosocial Factor, Organizational Performanc

    Women in the family have a very big role to play. Starting from taking care of the house and raising children, there are still many women from middle to lower economic backgrounds who do not have the opportunity to help the family economy. The community plays a big role in helping these housewives to get an extra stage for their families by building new skills, connections, and intelligence through the community.Building a strong, flexible, and effective community both economically and socially is Deideo's goal as a social enterprise. With a big vision, Deideo fostered a community in the Bojongsoang area with the Buana Mekar Foundation and the parish of St. Fransiskus Xaverius Dayeuhkolot, whose members are housewives who are nurtured and trained to have abilities that can compete in the market.Deideo and the community see that business opportunities in the industry are quite convincing. However, many things must be in this world because fashion trends continue to rotate rapidly, both in terms of design and product models. Business opportunities are wide open, but it also means competition. As a social entrepreneur who fosters housewives who are unfamiliar with the world of commerce, Deideo must be observant in finding unique and different business opportunities.Before determining what business the community should do, Deideo approaches community members through Participatory Action Research and then investigates by analyzing the business environment, both internal and external. SWOT analysis to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the community. After seeing the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities that the community has, Deideo decided that the market that the community wants to enter is the fashion market. A sustainable business is one that is capable of generating income or profit. The sustainable business carried out by the community can support the community to become independent. This of course supports the planning of a community-friendly business model with a business proposition canvas, an STP to see the target market, and an organizational model renewal.     The growth of digital business is currently in development in every country, specifically in Indonesia. There are more easy way to easier consumer fulfill their needs on their daily activity, included in payment, buying, selling, renting, lending and funding. This digital system is changing a perspective where the traditional system mostly not used, time efficiency and easiness to access is most reason of people switching from the traditional system into technology system. Moka is one of technology start-up company pioneer that creating platform in payment aggregator and point of sales that can used by smartphone and gadgets. They currently facing challenge  while the platform is not performed as their expectation, as their co-creation strategy was implemented, when the company are collaborated in ideation process to create something valuable to the consumers. The conceptual framework that used to formulating strategy for Moka is consist of co-creation in co-definition framework, co-creation is a strategy to develop mutual understanding by collaborating with customers, determine market positioning and segmenting by STP analysis, analyzing the internal resource with VRIN and define their competitive advantage. From the external analysis, consist of social media and netnography research, in-depth interview, and company survey analysis. To get the perception of brand and services and overseeing from customer side to get significant factor to initating collaboration in co creation with Moka. The findings of this research find that some of MokaPay customer are satisfied because the usefulness of features and social belief after they use this platform. Some of MokaPay customer not satisfied because the interfaces is not attractive and communcative also the customer services is unsatisfying.     Indonesia is a country with a large population, in 2018 Indonesia has a population of 256 million. Until February 2018 the workforce numbered 133.94 million people, this number rose 2.39 million compared to February 2017. Of the 127.07 million people employed, 7.64 percent were in the underemployed category and 23.83 percent part-time workers. In the past year, half unemployed and part-time workers rose by 0.02 percent and 1.31 percent. There are differences in understanding about whether the business is included in the category of social entrepreneur or not. The variables in this study are human capital, social cognitive social capital, institutional environment, social environment and social impact. Data were collected from in-depth interviews in each of the four cases. The ultimate objective of social entrepreneurship is the “Social Problem Solving”, “Variety of initiatives and activities”, and “Role of change agents”. They refer to social value.     Financial Strategy Based on Financial Performance Analysis of PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa during COVID-19

    PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk is a provider of in accommodation services (cottages) and hospitality in Indonesian. They offer a luxury resort experience that is suitable for visitors who seek peace, comfort, and closeness to nature. The company strives to showcase the unique local culture as well as the green concept that characterizes the Company's properties. Three properties that have been operating for a long period of time; show a good reputational company and good brand name position in hospitality industry with several awards and achievement. The problem however is that they face demand loss due to impact of COVID-19 crisis which begin in 2020 and uncertain situation for demand recovery. This brings forth the urgency to monitor company financial performance during the period. To analyze and research company’s financial performance, financial ratio analysis is used in this research to gain information about the business situation that company will face. The primary data gathered is BUVA’s Annual Report between 2015 to 2019 and BUVA’s Financial report Q3/2020. The data analysis reveals company’s financial performance is in bad condition due to poor profitability ratio.     Implementation of Lean Six Sigma Framework in Improving Quality Management System for LNG Shipment Process in Badak LNG

    Badak LNG is the company which is capable to produce liquefied natural gas from feed gas through liquefaction process since 1977. One of Badak LNG’s responsibilities is to conduct LNG loading from the shore side to the ship with limited lay time only for 36 hours. Violation of the agreement causes an impact both morally and financially aspects. Based on the actual lay time data, although the lay time is less than 36 hours, the letters of protest were issued when the delay happened. Afterwards, the letter of protest will be followed up by incident investigation and several recommendations will be given to improve the existing system. However, this is the corrective action that improves the system based on feedback from the customer. In order to increase its competency, Badak LNG also needs preventive improvement action to improve its service quality. The aim of this paper is to develop the effective strategy to prevent delay and its disadvantages from all the LNG shipment activities under Badak LNG’s responsibility by using the Lean Six Sigma process improvement method is called DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control).     A Business Model Canvas Analysis for Business Development: Case Study of Warung Makan(Food Stall) Barokah in Pelesiran, Bandung

    Research in Micro Business named Warung Makan Barokah. Use a qualitative study with steps literature study, the interview, business model canvas analysis, porter's five forces, consumer value analysis (empathy map, value proposition canvas, persona), and SWOT analysis. Results found that Warung Makan Barokah needed to adapt eight aspects of the business model canvas. Those are value proposition, distribution channel, relationship, key activities, key partner, cost structure, and revenue model. Results also showed the medium degree of competition, high threat on new entrances, high bargaining power of customers, medium power of suppliers, high threat of substitutes. Costumer segment of Warung Makan Barokah is a college student, adult worker, local permanent resident, and random passengers. Strength in building and engagement in the community. Weakness in value preposition and adaptation to technology. Opportunity. And threat from other similar Warung Makan. However, Warung Makan Barokah's current condition is against the growth theory that business needs to have a big scale if measured by the age of establishment.
