ANALYSIS OF PERSONNEL CAPABILITY GAP IN COVERING VACANT POSITION OF D&C OPERATION PT. SOG
This research aims to help D&C to evaluate DWSM consultant role that currently substitute employee role in operation. This research will first figure out non-satisfaction aspect of consultants in D&C. It is found that the user is not satisfy regarding consultant performance. Problem analysis is conducted using 5 Whys to gain better understanding regarding the root cause of the problem, which recommend to conduct assessment of capability that required for DWSM vacant position. Capability Based Assessment is conducted to address un-ideal condition of current consultant performance toward D&C expectation. Using Capability Based Assessment (CBA), this research concludes there are 12 capability gaps between current Consultant and D&C standard. By having these gaps, it means D&C currently facing lack of capable personnel for the position. To generate recommendation to fill the gaps in order to get capable personnel, this research will use HCM value matrix framework. Each capability gap will be categorized based on its “level of value” provided. Found out that the gaps are in the “added value” which represents capabilities that required to meet business needs. This value level becomes a basis to generate input in HCM value chain that led to the “input” for what the team really needs to do to fill the gaps. Finally, using HCM Value Matrix is it generated that the D&C Operation needs to develop talent pool by hiring new employee and apply “the learning organization” to get the talent into expected capability level.Keywords: assessment, capability, human capital, management, performanc
PROPOSED STRATEGY FOR PERTAMINA TO REALIZE GOVERNMENT’S GREEN FUEL PROGRAM
The growth of Indonesian oil-fuel consumption predicted to keep rising align with the Indonesian economy and population growth is around 5% per year. Indonesia has been depending on oil-fuel import that’s contributed as a major cause for Indonesia’s trading deficit. The bio-diesel mandatory program has been launched by Government by mixed Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) up to 20% to conventional diesel-fuel. Mixing FAME into diesel fossil-fuel product is the simplest & common way done by industries with limitation of blending is maximum 20% or B20 due to concern to poor quality of product compared to diesel fossil-fuel. Government as Pertamina’s shareholder, assign Pertamina to foster green fuel program by actively on research and production as well. Pertamina expected to produce green fuel by existing business that can be mixed or directly used as fuel (drop-in) 100% (B100) to reduce dependencies of fuel import activity, to optimize the domestic potential, and energy security. SERVICE QUALITY ANALYSIS FOR CUSTOMER JOURNEY EXPERIENCE IMPROVEMENT AT TERMINAL 3 SOEKARNO-HATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Terminal 3 (T3) owned by PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II) at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is a high-class airport for serve domestic and international passengers. AP II realize the importance of service quality by regularly monitoring the development of customer satisfaction to encourage continuous service improvement. In this research, the orientation of customers at T3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will be assessed based on experience of interaction with facilities and services that have been used. To achieve the objectives, the research will apply qualitative and quantitative by Service Quality (SERVQUAL) methods.Analysis of the T3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to determine external and internal conditions that have an impact on the existing business, evaluation uses SWOT analysis. Service quality to the level of customer satisfaction in term of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy at T3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport have positive correlations. With notes, found three partial gaps data in the SERVQUAL dimensions indicators. The dimensions that has the greatest value to the creation of customer satisfaction at T3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is tangible dimension.Based on the findings of the research, suggestions are made to relevant parties at T3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport through strategic improvement namely service improvement program, facility improvement program, and activity & entertainment improvement program.Keywords: Service Quality, T3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Customer, Expectation, Performance
PROGRAM CN295 PROJECT MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT STRATEGY FOR PRODUCTION OF A CUSTOMIZED MEDIUM AIRCRAFT (Case Study at Indonesian Aerospace)
Where in carrying out its duties as PM for the CN295 Program, there are many obstacles if not managed properly it can lead to delayed delivery targets of aircraft to the customers. It is therefore necessary to determine a parameter that can be measured so that the work of the PM can be done categorically so that it can be measured the success rate of the project being executed. This can cause losses for PTDI who have to pay penalties due to late delivery to the customer. Because develop the aircraft is a sequential process, then being late in one function will cause other functions to wait, this is what makes the project late. By using the Current Reality Tree (CRT) method, the rootcause of the problems that occur in PTDI can be identified accurately.By using the Project Management reference from PMI in the form of PMBOK guide 5th edition, the solution to the rootcause that arise will be tried to be resolved. The business processes in PTDI actually exist in part that are similar to the principles of Project Management from PMBOK, so this paper will improve existing business processes and add processes that do not yet exist of the problems that have an impact on PTDI, it has a profound effect on the company's cashflow, operations, and also the welfare of PTDI's work. For this reason, the results of this case study will be proposed to the PTDI management so that it can be adopted into the business process that has been approved by PTDI as a series of improvements to the business process. In addition to having an impact on the existing business system, this case study also suggests that PTDI increase knowledge to the Project Manager to have training in accordance with the principles of Project Management. in collaboration with HRD, the proposed training will be scheduled as a means of increasing PTDI's resources.Keyword: Project Management, CN295, PMBOK, Current Reality Tree, Customizing Medium Aircraf
ANALYSIS OF ONLINE SHOPPER BEHAVIOR AND MARKETING STRATEGY FOR CAKE PRODUCT (CASE STUDY: TIME TO EAT CAKE)
Indonesia has the potential power to become the largest digital economy. Development of the digital economy as new technologies is an opportunity to access global markets and drive new innovation for the food industry. Therefore, there are three objectives of this study. First, to investigate online shoppers’ behavior toward food product, particularly of cake. Second, to explore the possibility of internet as alternative tools for food distribution channels, particularly of cake. The last is to perform the recommendation online marketing strategy for the business. The study used mixed methods approaches (quantitative and qualitative) to explore different areas of management. The quantitative methods of this study are using the Theory of Planned Behavior. The study was conducted by distributing a survey to online shoppers’ behavior toward food products, particularly of cake in Bandung. Using the final data from 100 respondents, the data was analyzed using Microsoft Excel, SPSS, Factor Analysis, and Multi Linear Regression. The quantitative methods were conducted by interview to gain the information of E-Consumer Decision-Making Process in buying Time to Eat Cake product. Furthermore, this study was used the observation technique to analyze social media content marketing among similar business using the theory of Social Media Marketing. The survey result found that the attitude towards buying, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control variable have a positive influence on the online shopping intention. The interview result found that consumer obtains Time to Eat Cake information through an Instagram, the reason in buying through an online platform is easy to obtain information, and process of purchasing product. Next, by consumer evaluation, Time to Eat Cake need some improvement in product, price, content marketing, also adding a promotional program, and for the place, the existence offline store is still important for the consumer. For purchase decision, consumers are influenced by friends. The last is post-purchase, the majority of consumer are satistied in buying Time to Eat Cake through an online platform. Furthermore, the observation result found that from several businesses that have been analyzed, almost all businesses have the same content marketing strategy. Service System Design Utilizing a Service Science Perspective: Case of Pijar Mahir Digital Education Platform
Indonesia has made significant progress on improving education access in the last few years. One of the leading telecommunication and technology company see the need to deliver competitive advantage into this sector through digital education platform technology business unit. The current service design of digital education platform has several problems, first is the infectivity of content delivery and second is the gap between value proposed and value perceived. Through external analysis of PESTEL and SWOT, internal analysis of service blueprint and lean canvas, the author deliver solutions for digital education platform technology through the perspective of service science in a form of new service blueprint and value co-creation activity based on the value orchestration strategy. The findings of this study show that to increase the effectivity of the service delivery and reduce the gap between value proposed by Pijar Mahir and value perceived by its customer, there are several improvements of the service needed. First is the addition of question-and-answer features of content delivery. Second is the improvement of content delivery method through case study and virtual tutoring. Third is the addition of customer service real time chat. Designing Performance Appraisal At Abdul Djalil Sibaweh Foundation
Private educational institutions have constraints related to their human resources where the performance of employees has decreased in performance this is due to loss of motivation because the workload is not following the job description given, incentives are not following the performance results. This research is to design a performance appraisal that includes two indicator. Qualitative indicator which includes aspects of soft competency and hard competency. The second is based on which is derived based on the balanced scorecard and then translated in the form of reduced KPIs and synthesized based on job descriptions. This performance appraisal method uses the graphic rating scale method and the 360-degree assessment method to get a fair and objective assessment as standard. The results of this performance appraisal will provide feedback between the foundation and employees and as a reference for consideration of increasing incentives, as a benchmark for employee performance indicators. The Preference of Job Factors for Generation Z Students of Private University in Bandung
However, new generation (i.e. Generation Z) began to enter the workforce, and many others were still studying at universities and schools. Generation Z is considered by many to be the digital savvy generation. By understanding the specific characteristics of Generation Z, companies can recraft their employer brand to meet their expectations while still being true to the company's identity and attracting top talent to be engage. A descriptive quantitative study was conducted at several private universities in Bandung, Indonesia. 664 survey respondents answered a questionnaire with a google form. The finding in this study confirms that after graduating from college, Generation Z wanted to find a job and for the next five years they have dreams of becoming entrepreneurs. In looking for a job, Generation Z crave a supportive leader, role and responsibilities, and training and development be the main factor that must be in organization. Unlike previous generation, they focus more on relationships with superiors, company policies and programs that focus on shaping employees or their workforce. For the research, this study result is adding empirical evidence of Generation Z preferences in the workplace. Practically, this study will give insight to management that Generation Z is different from the previous generation which means they need different treatments and it also contributes to university whether the strategies are in accordance with current trends to providing the best talent to the company. IMPLEMENTATION OF INSTAGRAM DIGITAL MARKETING TOOLS TO IMPROVE SALES OF BUGAR HEALTHY FOOD PRODUCT
Bugar is healthy food product from Bandung. Products from Bugar are fruit salads with variety of fruit, various choices of toppings, and yoghurt as salad dressing. Bugar sales activities are through online media, i.e., Instagram. It is because Instagram has high engagement compared to other social media platforms. But, in terms of sales, Bugar encounters problem, i.e., sales per month did not reach the target. The aim of this study is to find the right marketing strategies to improve sales. The analyses carried out are marketing mix, STP analysis, social media marketing, market analysis, customer analysis, competitor analysis, and trial of Instagram digital marketing tools. The research shows that the implementation of Instagram tools and activities are not successful to improve sales, but it successful to improve awareness. As for sales, the more effective way is to find customers on social media organically combined with customer offline promotions. Solutions that can be offered are increasing customers’ testimonials (E-WOM), maintaining loyal customers, optimizing Instagram Ads, choosing the right selebgrams and food bloggers, and looking for customers organically. Proposed Blue Ocean Strategy for OZORA Yearbook
OZORA Yearbook is a company engaged in the creative industry in the provision of full-service yearbook making as a memory for final students in a school. Based on the 2019 report, OZORA has not been able to meet the expectations of achieving targets and continues to experience a decline in sales accompanied by a decrease in profit margins compared with the previous year. To get a picture of the company's condition, researchers collected data using qualitative methods through interviews and focus group discussions, as well as an analysis of quantitative data from the results of the customer satisfaction level questionnaire. This data is used further in analyzing the company’s business model canvas and competitor analysis to find the potential causes. Increasing competition is indicated by the price war from competitors who offer the same quality and strategy in getting customers in the same market segment. The inability to reduce costs and customer value changed, bring the company entered into a competitive red ocean. A value innovation needs to be created as a strategy for OZORA to get out from the above conditions. The researcher, together with OZORA, made a second questionnaire and mapped the results of the questionnaire into the blue ocean strategy tools and framework. The new value innovation can be a consideration for OZORA in identifying the blue ocean business strategy, to get the opportunity to expand market share and find new markets so as to improve the condition of the company.
