    A Bibliometric Analysis of Social Media Utilization by Political Parties in the Context of Digital Democracy

    The growing use of social media by political parties has reshaped the landscape of political communication and campaign strategies in the digital democracy era. This study maps the evolution of scholarly literature on the utilization of social media by political parties from 2015 to 2025. Using bibliometric analysis through VOSviewer and data from the Scopus database, 97 peer-reviewed articles were examined to identify publication trends, dominant keywords, thematic structures, and patterns of author and country collaboration. The results reveal a significant increase in publications after 2019, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting a global shift toward digital campaigning. Key themes include social media, political communication, elections, disinformation, and populism, indicating growing scholarly attention to digital political transformation. The United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain emerged as the most productive contributors to this research field. However, the study is limited by its exclusive reliance on Scopus-indexed English-language publications, potentially overlooking non-English or regional studies, particularly from developing democracies. Future research should incorporate comparative datasets, mixed-method analyses, and deeper explorations of emerging platforms such as TikTok or Telegram to capture the evolving dynamics of algorithmic politics and audience engagement in digital democracy.     Preferences and Behaviour of Gen Z Voters in the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election

    This study investigates the preferences and political behaviour of first-time voters in the 2024 elections, focusing on how religious beliefs, rationalism, and social media impact their political judgments. The primary objective of this research is to explore the factors influencing the political decisions of Generation Z voters, who constitute a significant demographic in the electoral process. The study aims to assess the extent to which social media platforms shape political awareness and decision-making while also examining the role of digital literacy in fostering informed political participation.The study employs a qualitative descriptive method using a cluster random sampling strategy, with approximately 204 University Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) students as respondents. The findings indicate that social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, have become the dominant sources of political information, reflecting a shift from traditional to digital media. First-time voters prioritize politicians with clear visions, goals, and concrete work programs over those engaging in negative campaigns. Additionally, the study highlights the challenges young voters face, including money politics and low political engagement at the local level. Despite these obstacles, the strong rejection of money politics and the commitment to clean democracy among youth voters demonstrate their potential to drive ethical and inclusive political reforms.Based on these findings, this study recommends enhancing digital literacy programs to equip young voters with critical thinking skills when consuming political content online. Future research should further explore the long-term effects of social media-driven political engagement and investigate how different digital platforms influence voter behaviour across diverse socio-political contexts. Expanding the study to a broader demographic beyond university students may also provide deeper insights into the evolving dynamics of youth political participation

    Personal Branding of Tegal District Head Candidates in Increasing Electability on Social Media Instagram

    In this era of globalization social media especially Instagram is a platform that is widely used by political actors in introducing their personal branding to attract public attention. Personal branding strategy is a good step in building political communication with voters due to affordability during the campaign. So in this paper the author wants to reveal what personal branding strategies are carried out by the candidates. This article is analyzed using a political branding approach using orange data mining as a coding tool to find out the sentiment of the public. The data from this study were taken from several posts from each candidate and comments from Instagram users. The results of this study show that the branding carried out by the two candidates shows a predominantly neutral sentiment from the public against several comments made in the comments column

    Strengthening Political Education for First-Time Voters Ahead of the 2024 Kudus Regional Election Through Entertainment Stages at IAIN Kudus

    Regional head elections or Pilkada are electoral processes at the local level organized by the KPU in the region with the principles of direct, general, free, secret, honest, and fair elections. One of the central roles performed by the KPU is conducting political education. This is also what the KPU of Kudus Regency has done. One of the target points in the KPU's socialization program is first-time voters. First-time voters in the Kudus Pilkada are a central focus due to their fantastic number, according to the KPU Kudus's voter list totaling 145,140 first-time voters. This research aims to examine the steps taken by the KPU of Kudus Regency to increase voter participation. This research aims to understand the steps taken by the KPU (General Elections Commission) of Kudus Regency in increasing voter participation. The research method we used is descriptive qualitative research and data collection through observation and in-depth interviews. The findings include the role of the KPU of Kudus Regency in enhancing the political participation of first-time voters through several means, including 'KPU Kudus Goes To Campus'. Conclusion: The role performed by the KPU of Kudus Regency in increasing political participation among first-time voters is already optimal, although the delivery of material is less comprehensive. Meanwhile, the factors influencing the increase in voter participation are political party factors, political socialization with volunteers, and political awareness factors

Through a multidisciplinary analysis, this study reveals the interconnection between urban intelligence and economic competitiveness, offering strategic insights for policymakers, business actors, and urban planners.     Grebeg Suro Ponorogo is a cultural preservation program that becomes an annual celebration in Ponorogo Regency. In its implementation, Grebeg Suro Ponorogo is supported by the APBD budget, which in 2024 experienced a decrease in the budget, making the Ponorogo Regency Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports Office collaborate with private parties to cover the existing budget shortfall. The purpose of this study, namely to describe and describe the collaborative governance process in the Implementation of Grebeg Suro Ponorogo in 2024. This research uses a descriptive qualitative type with the technique of determining informants through purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by combining three methods, namely observation, interviews, and documentation which were analyzed using the interactive analysis model belonging to. The collaborative governance model was analyzed using the theory (Ansell & Gash, 2008) including initial conditions, institutional design, leadership, collaboration process. The results showed that the collaboration that exists in Grebeg Suro Ponorogo has been running well between the Ponorogo Regency Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office and PT Local Hero Motivation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu untuk menggambarkan dan mendeskripsikan proses collaborative governance dalam Pelaksanaan Grebeg Suro Ponorogo Tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik penentuan informan melalui purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengkombinasikan tiga cara yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif milik (Miles et al., 2014) Model collaborative governance dianalisis menggunakan teori (Ansell & Gash, 2008) meliputi kondisi awal, desain kelembagaan, kepemimpinan, proses kolaborasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi yang ada pada Grebeg Suro Ponorogo telah berjalan dengan baik antara Dinas Kebudayaan, Pariwisata, Pemuda, dan Olahraga Kabupaten Ponorogo dan PT.     Analysis of the Preparedness of the Yogyakarta Search and Rescue Office in Responding to Accidents in the Waters of Parangtritis Beach

    This study aims to analyze the level of preparedness of the Yogyakarta Search and Rescue Office in responding to accidents in the waters of Parangtritis Beach, Bantul Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of SAR personnel and the surrounding community. The results indicate that the Yogyakarta Search and Rescue Office has a good level of preparedness, indicated by the availability of rotating standby officers, the readiness of facilities and infrastructure, and the implementation of special alerts. However, challenges remain, particularly in terms of the limited number of personnel to handle large-scale incidents, low public awareness, and the lack of early detection tools. The weaknesses of this study lie in its limited scope, which focuses only on Parangtritis Beach, so the results cannot be generalized to other coastal areas. Furthermore, it is recommended that further research conduct comparative studies in various vulnerable coastal tourist areas, integrate IoT-based early warning technology analysis, and expand local community participation to obtain a more comprehensive picture of preparedness. Collaborative efforts between agencies and increased public education remain important factors in increasing the effectiveness of responses to accidents in the waters.     Village tourism plays an essential role in improving  community welfare, yet it often emphasizes economic outcomes over social and environmental aspects. This study examines the implementation of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) concept at Blumbang Mataram Market, Wirokerten, as a model for sustainable village tourism governance. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and supporting documentation. Findings indicate that the economic dimension shows the strongest progress, with the number of MSMEs growing from I5 to 75 and average turnover rising by about 35 percent. Socially, the market fosters interaction and cooperation among residents but also inggers jealousy among vendors. Environmentally, a plastic-free policy and natural packaging have been introduced, though waste disposal remains limited to open burning. Overall, TBL implementation is still unbalanced, highlighting the need for policy innovation and multi-sector collaboration to ensure holistic and sustainable tourism development. keyword:  Triple Bottom Line; Tourism Village; Sustainability; Blumbang Mataram Market; MSMes;Penelitian ini menelaah penerapan konsep Triple Bottom Line (TBL) dalam pengelolaan Pasar Blumbang Mataram di Desa Wirokerten, Kabupaten Bantul, sebagai upaya untuk mewujudkan tata kelola pariwisata desa yang berkelanjutan melalui keseimbangan antara aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam kepada pengelola pasar dan pelaku UMKM, serta observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi pendukung yang memperkaya validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi ekonomi menjadi faktor paling dominan dengan peningkatan jumlah UMKM dari 15 unit pada tahun 2022 menjadi 75 unit pada tahun 2025, disertai kenaikan omzet rata-rata sebesar 35 persen. Aspek sosial memperlihatkan dinamika yang kompleks, di mana kehadiran pasar tidak hanya memperkuat interaksi dan solidaritas masyarakat, tetapi juga memunculkan kecemburuan sosial akibat ketimpangan pendapatan antar pelaku usaha. Sementara itu, dimensi lingkungan menunjukkan adanya komitmen awal terhadap prinsip keberlanjutan melalui kebijakan pasar tanpa plastik, pemanfaatan bahan alami seperti batok kelapa, dan pengurangan limbah anorganik, meskipun masih dihadapkan pada kendala pengelolaan sampah yang dilakukan dengan sistem pembakaran terbuka. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa implementasi prinsip TBL di Pasar Blumbang Mataram belum mencapai keseimbangan ideal karena masih terpusat pada kepentingan ekonomi, sementara aspek sosial dan lingkungan belum mendapatkan perhatian yang sepadan. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya inovasi kebijakan, peningkatan kapasitas kelembagaan, edukasi lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor antara pemerintah desa, pengelola, pelaku UMKM, dan masyarakat agar keberlanjutan ekonomi dapat berjalan beriringan dengan keharmonisan sosial dan kelestarian lingkungan secara komprehensif dan berdaya saing

    The Role of The Regional Disaster Management Agency in Responding to Floods

    This study examines the role of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Nias Regency in mitigating flooding in Lotu Subdistrict. The purpose of this study is to determine how the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Nias Regency plays a role in mitigating flooding in Lotu Subdistrict. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method by analyzing data using role theory with five indicators, namely the role as a stabilizer, the role as an innovator, the role as a modernizer, the role as a pioneer, and the role as an implementer. The results of the study show that the Regional Disaster Management Agency of North Nias Regency faces several obstacles, such as having only 13 employees and 8 rubber boat operators, which limits its disaster management capabilities; only three employees have undergone disaster management training; and budget issues hinder the procurement of new equipment, resulting in only two functional rubber boats. This study has limitations, such as a lack of quantitative data to assess the effectiveness of socialization and education, as well as a lack of exploration of the roles of the community and volunteers. Further studies are recommended using a holistic approach with quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as expanding the focus on multi-stakeholder collaboration and the use of information technology to improve the capacity and effectiveness of the BPBD in an applicable manner.     ASN Willingness in Policy Implementation: A Study of Core Values and Motivation

    Researchers and practitioners have articulated that Organizational Factors and Individual Factors constitute pivotal elements in influencing the Willingness of Employees, specifically in the context of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to implement policies. The objective of this research was to assess the impact and quantify the extent to which the Core Values of ASN BerAKHLAK and ASN Motivation (Public Service Motivation) affect the willingness of ASNs to implement the policy regarding the utilization of the Integrated Discipline (I'DIS) application in the administration of ASN Discipline, both in a simultaneous and partial context. The sample population for this study comprised 67 ASNs employed within the Discipline Management Sub Division across 49 Personnel Working Units at Government Institutions situated within the jurisdiction of Regional Office VII of the Palembang National Civil Service Agency. The data were subjected to analysis through the application of Multiple Regression tests and Hypothesis testing utilizing SPSS Version 29.0. The findings from the analysis indicate that the Core Values of ASN BerAKHLAK and ASN Motivation collectively exert an influence on ASN's propensity to adopt the policy regarding the utilization of the I'DIS application in the management of ASN Discipline. Nevertheless, when examined individually, it is solely ASN Motivation that demonstrates a significant effect on ASN's willingness to implement the policy of employing the I'DIS application for the purposes of managing ASN Discipline
