Economic Analysis of Burr Field Development Project with Gross Split Mechanism
The project team conducts an economic valuation study for development project in Burr field based on Gross Split mechanism that will be applied in this block starting in 2021. Technical analysis was conducted to forecast oil production and estimate reserves. Revenue than generated from production forecast and oil price projection. The economic indicators to be used for investment analysis are NPV, ROR, POT and DPI. Investment costs include capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX). From the economic analysis, it is shown that the results of this base case development project will have NPV of $ 1,456 M, DPI 1.15, IRR 24%, and a PBP of 3.27 years. This result concluded that field development project using horizontal wells in Gross Split mechanism is still very visible according to economic parameters. And from the sensitivity analysis it was found that the factors that most influence the economic value of the project are the calculation of oil prices and CAPEX. Financial Strategy to Strengthening The Holding Function at PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero)
This research will explore the financial strategy implemented by PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) (PTPI) financial directorate to achieve the main corporate strategy and create value (efficiency) for the corporation. PTPI Finance Directorate is one of the directorates in the PTPI organizational structure that has a very vital and strategic function and role for the running of the corporation so that it must be able to provide business breakthroughs to improve PTPI's performance in the fertilizer SOE holding perspective.The purpose of this research is to answer the right financial strategy questions to strengthen the holding function further, and the value can be created through the financial strategy implemented by the holding company. To answer these research questions, the authors use an external analysis in the form of PEST analysis, porter five's force analysis, competitor analysis, and internal analysis in the form of VRIO analysis and financial analysis. The results of both external and internal analyses produce a SWOT analysis. Using PTPI's SWOT analysis, the direction of the company's business transformation is customer-centric, innovation plant nutrition, solutions and services, best in class in operations and supply chain and activist /functional holding. To achieve this and realize the company's vision, PTPI compiled the main corporate strategy, which was breakdown through strategic initiatives that must be carried out by each directorate.The Directorate of Finance determines the financial strategy in the field of funding, namely, joint borrowers/borrower co-borrower, PTPI bond issuance, and Notional Pooling Account (NPA) and non-financing strategy, namely the joint insurance program. The financial strategy above can support the main corporate strategy's achievement by enhancing and strengthening the holding function, increasing efficiency, and encouraging the development of the non-subsidized fertilizer business and non-fertilizer products owned by PTPI. The implementation of the financial strategy from 2014 - 2019 helped create value (efficiency) for the corporation on a consolidated basis of Rp. 1.42 trillion. To further enhance Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in implementing financial strategies, PTPI Group has issued Funding Guide No. PI-KEU-PD-003 and Joint Insurance Procurement Procedure No. PI-PR-KEU-014. Proposed Communication Strategy to Raise Brand Awareness for Kallé as Working Woman Bag Brand
The growth of the Indonesian fashion industry caused many people proud of the local brands and there is a demand for people who are looking for working bags that suit their needs. At the moment, the rate of working women in Indonesia is gradually increasing. Kallé is a brand from Indonesia, that sells a collection of working bags and small leather accessories. This brand not only produces bags but also wants to solve Indonesian women’s needs. The brand develops their design into various working bags that suit Indonesian women's needs and use women's empowerment spirit behind their design. Unfortunately, the limited information regarding the existence of Kallé caused the customers to continue buying working bags from abroad or working bags that do not meet their needs.This research was conducted to increase Kallé's brand awareness. In this study, the author uses qualitative methods by observing the company and the customer polling to gain information about brand awareness. Furthermore, the writer using fishbone diagram analysis to find out the problem. In developing business solutions, the core value of the company needs to be re-examined. Hence, there are three proposed solutions to this problem, which are: updating the new STP, creating an integrated communication strategy, and developing Marketing Mix 7Ps. THE ROLE OF INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND FORECASTING IN ORDER TO REDUCE DEADSTOCK AND IMPROVE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AT PT THE PEAK CONNOISSEURS
PT The Peak Connoisseurs is one of many alcoholic beverages distributor and retailer in Indonesia, it sells mostly wine and spirit. PT The Peak Connoisseurs are currently facing a problem, deadstock problem. This problem has been around since almost three years ago. Although the deadstock has been reduced, but it is still there. The purpose of this research is to reduce deadstock and improve inventory management in PT The Peak Connoisseurs.Current Reality Tree (CRT) is used to find the root cause of PT The Peak Connoisseur’s problem. There are several results from the root cause analysis using CRT, but the selected root causes are the lack of inventory management and forecasting.There are three methods that are used to solve this problem, ABC Classification, Forecasting, and Inventory Management. ABC Classification main purpose is to classified the important products from the unimportant. This research also use 6 methods of forecasting, there are Simple Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, Trend Analysis, Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, and Decomposition Method. Inventory Management is used to find the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and to optimize the cost.The result from the ABC Classification is Class A are the products with 80% contribution to the company total revenue, Class B are the products with 15% contribution to the company total revenue, Class C are the products with the 5% contribution to the company total revenue. There are 255 products in Class A, 273 products in Class B, and 679 products in Class C. Products that are not included in this classification are categorized as deadstock products. This research will focus only in Class A products. Through Forecasting, we can see which forecasting method is the best for each products. Through inventory management calculation, we can find that PT The Peak Connoisseurs can save by Rp 570,385,844.16.Keyword: Alcoholic Beverages, Wine, Deadstock, Inventory Management, Forecasting
EVALUATING STRATEGY EXECUTION CAPABILITY CASE: MCO UNIT at PT. KERETA API INDONESIA (Persero)
Strategy is one of the main key for a company to achieve success in competitive environment. Transportation has become irreplaceable needs for industrial, social, trade and economic development in Indonesia. The MCO unit is a unit that incorporated under the responsibility of the Department and the directors of Human Capital and General Affairs at PT. KAI (Persero) – (D6). MCO unit has the main duties and responsibilities to planning, evaluating and coordinating the implementation of the D6 work program. The implementation of the program are: analysis of workload, formation and design of HR organizations and business processes and the development of organizations. To perform and execute the task, the MCO unit must first understand the goals, objectives, mission and vision of the company in order to form a strategy that can be understood by headquarter, its subsidiaries and partner companies.This paper will try to evaluate and analyze MCO Unit’s strategy execution capability by using the approach developed by Gary L Neilson et al, which was reported in their Harvard Business Review article “The Secret to Successful Strategy Execution”. PROPOSED POLICY TO IMPROVE AGRICULTURAL TRADE SYSTEM IN WEST JAVA PROVINCE IN THE ERA OF REGIONAL AUTONOMY
West Java, known as the rice barn in Indonesia, has potential natural resources, particularly in the agricultural sector. Regional governments have the power to handle their areas, including in agriculture, since the introduction of regional autonomy in Indonesia. However, the application of policies has not yet had a strong effect on agricultural trade, particularly for farmers. The purpose of this study is to analyze policies that can be implemented by West Java Province Government to enhance the agricultural trade system in West Java Province. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Secondary data collection is done by compiling a strategic plan from 18 districts and 9 cities in West Java Province. Based on the assessment of the Strategic Plan, there are some comparable issues in several regencies/cities in West Java Province, such as quality of agricultural products and agricultural technology. In order to enhance the agricultural trade system in West Java, several strategies that the West Java government needs to implement are the application of technology in agriculture as well as improvements in infrastructure and equipment in the agricultural sector. Proposed Marketing Strategy to Improve Customer Loyalty in Passenger Shipping Business Based on Customer Satisfaction (Case Study: KM. Binaiya of PT Pelni)
The objectives of this research are to observing the passenger shipping business in general, evaluate PELNI customer loyalty, measuring the level of customer loyalty passengers of KM. Binaiya, make suggestions and recommendations needed to increase its customer loyalty.The method used in this research is an explanatory study using primary data from questionnaires and secondary data from previously processed sources. The data technique used questionnaire and documentary techniques with questionnaire instruments and a Likert scale for measurement. The collected data were analyzed using Reliability Analysis, Validity Test, CSI Model (Customer Satisfaction Index), and (Importance Performance Analysis) IPA Gap Analysis, IPA Quadrant Analysis, SERVQUAL (Service Quality) Model, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). From this research it can be concluded, the quality of public service facilities and services on board at KM. Binaiya has a significant effect on passenger satisfaction with a contribution of more than 60%. Meanwhile, passenger or customer satisfaction has a major effect on customer loyalty in KM. Binaiya with a contribution of more than 89%. This means, to be able to increase customer loyalty KM. Binaiya, PT. PELNI needs to improve the quality of its services. Because when customers feel satisfied with the quality of service they receive, their loyalty also increases significantly. Overall, the service improvement efforts made by PT. PELNI has begun to be felt by passengers who are loyal customers. REDUCING DEFECTS PRODUCT AT M.E. BAG AND PURSE PRODUCTION PROCESS USING DMAIC METHOD
ME bag and purse is a start-up company engaged in fahion products. ME was established on 30 September 2017 in Yogyakarta. ME bag and purse provides women's bags in a variety of needs that are simple and chic in style, with good quality materials as well as neat stitches. We really pay attention to the details of our products as a good quality control. ME bag and purse are sold at affordable prices targeting the main market for teenagers and students.In this study, ME bag and purse uses several tools to analyze conditions and factors both inside and outside the company. ME bag and purse uses DMAIC methods and business process analysis to analyze the causes of waste and defects. Defining the process using the SIPOC diagram, then measurement to determine the criteria of product defect using CTQ (critical to quality), identify the kind of defect then to measure then determine the DPU, DPMO, and the sigma value to find out how big the defect is. Thus, to find out the causes of defective product in the production process using fishbone diagram. After analyzing through the fishbone diagram, the next step is to find a solution to the problem with the method in accordance with 6Ms (man, machine, material, method, milieu, measurement).Then as a manifestation of corrective measures, improvements and solutions were carried out with a new propose strategy based on recommendations for improvement, such as conduct training sewing and pattern making, performing maintenance on sewing machines, as well as utilizing the remaining defect material as value added items, applying the 5S concept for workstations, then using KPI (key performance index) as control tools to find out how far the recommendations for improvement are going and make the schedule timeline more organized.Keywords : ME bag and purse, defect product, DMAIC methods, business process analysis CTQ, DPU, DPMO, sigma value, 6Ms, KP
The Influence of Organizational DNA on Employee Task Performance (Study Case: PT. Wijaya Karya Komponen Beton)
Every company wanted to be a resilient/agile company, or a type of company whose people and internal environment can adjust or flexible-enough to embrace change caused by uncertain external environment. The difference between those Agile and those which not is simply from their internal capability to execute the strategy as the execution and implementation of the strategy by the company determines whether or not the company's business targets are achieved.One of the causes of inhibition of strategy execution and implementation is the presence of dysfunctionality in strategy execution process. It makes Employee Task Performance or the ability of a person as an individual or in a group to do their daily work is ineffective and influence overall company performance.The potential dysfunctional in the Employee Task Performance can be influenced byOrganizational DNA or simply company’s “surroundings” environment such as how the Structure supports daily business operational, is the Information is available and accessible for those whom needed, how decision-right is effectively taken, and how policy/system/practice are act as MotivatorPT. Wijaya Karya Komponen Beton (WIKA-KOBE) is one of the companies within developing and growing Indonesia’s precast concrete industry. The potential problem with them is they are often find themselves struggling categorized as “Healthy” in Financial Aspects one of indicator performance aspects in accordance of Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises No.Kep 100/MBU/2002 or one of standard indicator used to measures company performance. While they are often categorized as “Healthy” in other two categories Administration and Operational Aspects.The research has found that WIKA-KOBE is categorized as a “Just-in-time” company according to its Organizational DNA. In conclusion, WIKA-KOBE is included in the category of company that have great potential to be able to minimize dysfunctions that prevent their employee perform their task effectively and achieving their annual revenue targets. Proposed Marketing Strategy for Kinderland Preschool
Early childhood period often referred to as the golden age of brain development. The human brain grows more quickly and more open to learning than any other time of life (Institute of Medicine and Council, 2000). Early childhood education (ECE) is an education level held before the primary education level. The purpose of early childhood education is to nurture children and preparing them before entering the next level of education. Indonesia classifies kindergarten school as the formal early childhood education meant for children age four to six years old.Kinderland Preschool Bandung (KPB) is a kindergarten school which provides early childhood education to children in Bandung. Kinderland itself is a school franchise from Kinderland Educare Services, a member of the Crestar Education Group Singapore. PT. ZXC is an education provider company which hold the franchise license to operate a Kinderland school in Bandung. Beside KPB, PT. ZXC also own Sekolah Bina Persada (SBP), a school which provides education from primary to high school level using the Cambridge Pathway. Over the last three years, student enrollment in KPB has not been up to its full capacity. The purpose of this study is to help KPB to achieve its student capacity by formulating a marketing strategy aimed to solve the problem. The study will try to resolve KPB’s business issue by analyzing the internal and external environment of the school to find the root cause of the problem. After founding the root cause, the author will propose solutions using the TOWS matrix as a guide.
