Indonesian Aerospace is engaged in the manufacture and sale of Aircraft and Helicopters and Services. Timely, precise costing and project accuracy are the key success factors to be considered in aircraft manufacturing project to measure both efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources in the aircraft manufacturing project. At this time, the problem of on-time delivery has been the main issue in the aircraft delivery at IAe, so it needs a more precise method and accurate which can measure the performance status to predict more accurate result of project in future. In variance method the project cost monitoring and control, display comparisons between planned cost and actual and each other is controlled separately (cost, schedule, and performance). The variance method potentially creates burdens in evaluating project’s progression and forecasting of both schedule and cost performance at completion. This research focuses on eliminating those issues through implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) method as part of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).In EVM method can combine three dimensions, which are scheduled, cost and work performance so that it can be estimated the cost and time to complete the project. The ultimate benefits will be improvement on cost efficiency and on-time delivery of the aircraft manufacturing. Keywords: Variance Method, EVM, Aircraft manufacturing projects, PMBOK, delayed on deliver

Rig operation is critical activity in upstream oil production. To support 24/7 operation the company operates 24-hour material Go Down and Warehouse. There is redundancy in operation of these two facilities. The cost of this redundancy is contributed from manpower, transportation, heavy equipment, and utility cost with total per year around 3.4 billion rupiah. To identify the existing process and connection between the factors, swim lane diagram was used, and then the root cause was investigated using current reality tree. It was found that the operation of D&C Go Down during office hours and the delay purchase approval have caused this redundancy.By evaluating the existing process the redundancy process can be eliminated by using just in time approval process. The combinations of alternatives were assessed and selected using the Kepner – Tregoe method. In the new procedure, D&C Go Down can be closed during office hour.Implementation of this new procedure will require new IT tools, delegation of Authority of purchase approver and socialization of new procedure to all stakeholders. With the implementation of selected solution, redundancy of D&C Go Down and Warehouse can be eliminated. Keywords: Rig operation, Rig material distribution, Material buffer storage, Just in Time Approva

English Prestasi Learning Center or EPLC is one of the non-formal educational institutions engaged in English language courses that was founded in 2013. Since EPLC adopted the learning methods from Kampung Iggris, Pare, Kediri which had further developed rapidly so that they want to expand the business. In this research, the low dimension of self-interest in the ethical climate is related to differences in motivation of each individual working at EPLC and then becomes the basis for the authors to analyze more deeply by using the Theory of Basic Human Needs by Abraham Maslow (1954) and The Theory of Basic Values by Schwartz (2005). These two theories underlie individual differences which basically come from different backgrounds, visions and behaviors which are then supported by their own motivation to act. From the results of these individual differences interviews, information is obtained that individual differences that cause individuals in EPLC are less able to determine their own choices which then refers to the Theory of Self-Determination Proposed by Deci & Ryan (2008). These three theories are then put together and then compared to get information which dimensions need to be improved. From the root of the problem, the authors provide recommendations in this study namely, conduct training, conduct management planning, form human resource divisions, make key performance indicator, and apply performance appraisal at EPLC. With these recommendations, it is expected that EPLC can help improve motivation for employees, so that they can contribute more to the development of EPLC.Keywords: Ethical Climate, Self-Determination, Individual Differences, Self-Interest, EPL

PT. Laniakea Indonesia is one of the key oil and gas company in supporting Indonesia’s rapid development. In conducting its operation, the Company shall comply to the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) terms including the cost recovery process that must be responsibly closed out to the Government. Therefore, managing contracts to support the operation becomes crucial to ensure efficient and continuous operation. One of the efforts by the Drilling & Completions team of PT. Laniakea Indonesia to manage its operation supporting contracts is to establish a cost monitoring system to ensure there is sufficient remaining value in the contract to have continuous operation. However, the effort faces a challenge with low accuracy of cost data submitted into the System of Record – SoR.Root cause analysis results on the aforementioned challenge are then analyzed using Kepner-Tregoe Approach (KT Approach) to facilitate the decision-making process. The Situational Appraisal facilitates prioritization of 3 (three) focuses or main concerns based on timing, trend, and impact. Problem Analysis is performed on the first focus, no standard method to monitor remaining contract value, and it confirms the cause is the lack of system or tool to accommodate unsubmitted invoice. Decision Analysis is performed on the second focus, no integrated tool for cost code, contract, compensation rate, and exchange rate. The tool’s purposes are classified into the MUSTs and the WANTs, which are then used as criteria in evaluating identified alternative solutions. From the 3 (three) identified alternative solutions, the Cost Book attained the highest overall score which makes it as the recommended solution. Potential Problem Analysis is then performed to the third focus, performance was not measured by cost accuracy. Likely causes for each potential problem were identified, which then related preventive and contingent actions are determined as precaution if the problem occurs in the future. The analysis concluded several actions that would require support from the Drilling & Completion leadership. Keywords: Kepner-Tregoe, decision making, contract value monitoring, digital dashboard, standardization, data automatio
